These guys are the best. I have had 3 dogs go through their programs. They ingrain a behavior into the dog, then it’s up to you to enforce it. Which can sound hard, but they are with you every step of the way. You can reach out and get extra classes if needed. And this is on top of the weekly group classes that they offer. These guys made having a service animal possible.

Elite dog trainers are amazing. I have quite a few dogs and they were able to help me in so many areas. They helped me get my dogs on a regular eating schedule and guided me through so many problems I was facing with them. They are knowledgeable and care so much about their business and training dogs to a superior level. So grateful for them!!!

We were so lucky to find Dog Training Elite of Northern Utah! I knew we needed a service dog, but didn't know who to trust. When we started our puppy with them, I saw big improvements even in the first week, and now we have a truly dependable service dog. They really care, and are extremely professional. Zero complaints, only gratitude. Would not hesitate to send anyone to them.

They come to your home, send you report cards at the end of each training day, and — most importantly — teach you how to reinforce the training so it actually sticks. Our Reggie has learned a lot and is so much better-behaved as a result of his training. It’s hard to put into words how deeply grateful I am to have found DTE of Northern Utah. Our specific program includes in-home and in-office training, public access training at local stores, Saturday group classes at a local park, Monday-Friday 9 AM-5PM obedience training camps for puppies, and LIFETIME MAINTENANCE TRAINING as needed. They have been wonderful in including my kids in the process as well. I could gush for hours about our experience with DTE but I’ll leave it at this: give them a call and see for yourself. They were the best to my little puppy

I am a Veteran with PTSD and some other injuries. My young German Shepherd, very well trained service working dog, became reactive to other dogs after we experienced a number of unprovoked attacks by other dogs. The original trainers wanted me to give up on him because he would lunge and bark if another dog was in our vicinity. He never followed through or bit. I was unwilling to do this without getting another opinion and giving him a chance with more training toward rehabilitation. Fortunately, we moved to Utah and I found Elite Dog Training of Northern Utah. I can’t begin to express how grateful I am. These folks are not only amazingly skilled trainers, they are extremely caring and supportive. Because of their willingness to work with us, I have become a much better, more relaxed handler, and Max, after some private and then group classes, is once again comfortable and trusting. We go everywhere together and frequently receive compliments on his behavior. He’s an amazing working dog once again because of the skill and caring of the trainers at Elite Dog Training of Northern Utah.

We have used this company to train two dogs and they have been excellent. We would recommend them to anyone.

This is THE BEST dog training program I've ever used! I have litter mate black labs. They were 3 years old when I started with Elite. Before Elite I used 3 other training programs. Online, board & train, and in-home training. My pups had a good foundation to start from. Elite took this into consideration and built our program and price around where my dogs were at and what I wanted. Now my pups are certified service animals and I couldn't be happier. I could've saved myself thousands by starting with the right program. I will never use anyone else. All the dog handlers love my pups and treat me and them with respect. I always feel heard, supported, and prioritized. Talking about support... It's a lot. In center training, in-home training, group classes, service animal classes, phone calls, and timely communications. Elite is now part of our family. In fact, my whole family is with Elite. 7 dogs in total between me, my sister, and my mom. We're called a pack now lol. Elite handles all of our dogs and separate needs, which is a big ask. Truly, this is the best program we've ever participated in. You won't regret reaching out to them. I know I'm glad I did!!

Dan taught an amazing barn hunt clinic 11/16/25 to our trial group. After 1 trial run with the rats, he was able to give individual feedback to both handler & pup. He is for sure a national champion!

Dog training elite, northern utah was the best thing that I've done. I love my dogs and putting in the money and effort is worth every penny. They have private training sessions to individualize to you and your dog's needs. I also love group classes where we get to interact with other dogs and owners and challenge and train your dog in a safe space. 💯 recommend!! All trainers are wonderful but Trevor was my trainer and I'm so grateful for the confidence and genuine care he gave me and my Griz. Griz is a big ole German Shepard with some fear reactivity mostly around other dogs, but some people as well. While we still have work to do, the difference is night and day. He and I can go out and a find joy and peace in our outings instead of fear. I honestly can't thank them enough.

Pretty sure Colleen could teach your pup to cook dinner and serve it to you! Hands down best experience and got our daughter the service dog we needed without breaking the bank. We know who we will be going to forever!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Incredible Transformation! We brought our sassy Pomsky to Dog Training Elite first for obedience training and later for service dog training—and the transformation was almost instant. I could not be more thrilled with the results. The improvement in her skills, focus, and confidence has been amazing. Every single trainer we’ve worked with genuinely loves what they do and treats every dog as if it were their own. The ongoing support, group classes, and follow-up have made all the difference. You can tell this company truly cares about both the dogs and their owners. I recommend Dog Training Elite over and over again—they’ve completely exceeded our expectations and given us a better-behaved, happier dog (and owners!).

Dog Training Elite Northern Utah... has been the most fullfiling experience. Our dogs have been so much better behaved. We still have some issues but once the command has been given to the dog even if it still takes a minute for it to register; it is so much better than before. We were getting frustrated with the dogs not listening. Now its day and night with them. Oh and the best thing besides that, is the employees who work for them. They are outstanding, super awesome, and the absolute best trainers I've worked with. I had one before but with that one it was hurry and get the training done. These guys will answer with empathy, professionalism and understanding. They are a joy to be around. The money spent was the best investment I have made. I have worked with Elite dogs for almost two years. I needed a mobility dog because I have little upper body strength and walk with assisted devices. I have a 1.5 yo male lab who is bred for service. He is incredible and with the help of Elite dogs giving me back my independence. The end goal is to have him on a harness to hold me up and to fetch items for me. To that end I sought the help from Elite dogs. It’s a great program, very comprehensive, combining group play with other dogs and private lessons as well. The owner participates. The trainers are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this group. Barbara
