Dog Training Facilities in Davis / Weber County, UT

These guys are amazing. They did wonders with our pups and helped us be better leaders for our dogs. They were wonderful to work with and accommodated our wonky schedule. They are good to our dogs and our dogs are excited to see them. I highly recommend them for helping resolve any behavioral issues. They are awesome one on one and are great teachers. I can't say enough positive things about these trainers.

These folks are phenomenal — incredibly competent, super conscientious and communicative, and completely invested in my success. Colleen is unparalleled as a business owner and Ruben is unmatched as a trainer. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Elite Dog Training completely transformed my Golden Retriever! After an unsuccessful experience with another trainer, Elite gave us the tools and support we needed to succeed. A year later, he’s calm around people and dogs, walks beautifully on a leash, has completed Service Dog training, and has even flown with me. I receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go. Huge thanks to Colleen, Trevor and the entire Elite team for their patience, expertise, and support. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️

Trevor helped us with our 3 yr old German Shepherd with reactivity. He helped us build our confidence in desensitizing her around dogs. Extremely knowledgeable and kind trainers. Now we are always training to be better dog parents and so grateful we found them to help give us the right tools. Thank you Trevor, Colleen and Ruben for all your guidance and support!!

These guys are the best. I have had 3 dogs go through their programs. They ingrain a behavior into the dog, then it’s up to you to enforce it. Which can sound hard, but they are with you every step of the way. You can reach out and get extra classes if needed. And this is on top of the weekly group classes that they offer. These guys made having a service animal possible.

Elite dog trainers are amazing. I have quite a few dogs and they were able to help me in so many areas. They helped me get my dogs on a regular eating schedule and guided me through so many problems I was facing with them. They are knowledgeable and care so much about their business and training dogs to a superior level. So grateful for them!!!

I have been working with DTE with my psychiatric service dog. The other day I had to go to the emergency room and got so many complaints on how well behaved he was for only being 9 months old. DTE has changed my life. These guys are absolutely amazing. Best decision was to go with DTE

We have had an amazing experience with Colleen and the training team as they were able to transform my spunky Pomeranian and turned him into a well behave Service Dog. This team is dedicated to bringing out the best your dog has to offer. Their Saturday classes in the park have been an added touch to Snoopy’s continued learning goals. Thank you all for everything you have done to make Snoopy a success!

We were so lucky to find Dog Training Elite of Northern Utah! I knew we needed a service dog, but didn't know who to trust. When we started our puppy with them, I saw big improvements even in the first week, and now we have a truly dependable service dog. They really care, and are extremely professional. Zero complaints, only gratitude. Would not hesitate to send anyone to them.

If you have an energetic pup who thinks the world is his personal chew toy and needs some excellent training, look no further than Colleen, Trevor, and the entire Dog Training Elite team. They are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in both the dog and the humans on the other end of the leash. They come to your home, send you report cards at the end of each training day, and — most importantly — teach you how to reinforce the training so it actually sticks. Our Reggie has learned a lot and is so much better-behaved as a result of his training. Thanks to the DTE team, our Reggie has gone from a rambunctious rascal who wanted to jump on and chew everything in sight to... well, a much more respectable rascal. Progress! I can't recommend DTE enough — they brought some semblance of order to our home, and we are "fur-ever" grateful. Dog Training Elite Northern Utah is the "doggone" best for my money! We couldn't be more pleased with the results!

It’s hard to put into words how deeply grateful I am to have found DTE of Northern Utah. Including a dog in my mental health therapy practice has been my dream from the very beginning but other programs I looked into were cost prohibitive to say the least. An unexpected opportunity to adopt my dream therapy dog for a fraction of the price left me scrambling to find the right program at the right price, and Colleen at DTE helped us get her into the psychiatric service + therapy dog program at an unbeatable price with monthly payment options. Don’t let the lower cost fool you—their training program is effective, efficient, and robust. Our specific program includes in-home and in-office training, public access training at local stores, Saturday group classes at a local park, Monday-Friday 9 AM-5PM obedience training camps for puppies, and LIFETIME MAINTENANCE TRAINING as needed. They have been wonderful in including my kids in the process as well. I could gush for hours about our experience with DTE but I’ll leave it at this: give them a call and see for yourself. You’ll fall in love with the staff and feel assured that your furry friend is in the very best of hands.

They were the best to my little puppy

I am a Veteran with PTSD and some other injuries. My young German Shepherd, very well trained service working dog, became reactive to other dogs after we experienced a number of unprovoked attacks by other dogs. The original trainers wanted me to give up on him because he would lunge and bark if another dog was in our vicinity. He never followed through or bit. I was unwilling to do this without getting another opinion and giving him a chance with more training toward rehabilitation. Fortunately, we moved to Utah and I found Elite Dog Training of Northern Utah. I can’t begin to express how grateful I am. These folks are not only amazingly skilled trainers, they are extremely caring and supportive. Because of their willingness to work with us, I have become a much better, more relaxed handler, and Max, after some private and then group classes, is once again comfortable and trusting. We go everywhere together and frequently receive compliments on his behavior. He’s an amazing working dog once again because of the skill and caring of the trainers at Elite Dog Training of Northern Utah.

We have used this company to train two dogs and they have been excellent. We would recommend them to anyone.

This is THE BEST dog training program I've ever used! I have litter mate black labs. They were 3 years old when I started with Elite. Before Elite I used 3 other training programs. Online, board & train, and in-home training. My pups had a good foundation to start from. Elite took this into consideration and built our program and price around where my dogs were at and what I wanted. Now my pups are certified service animals and I couldn't be happier. I could've saved myself thousands by starting with the right program. I will never use anyone else. All the dog handlers love my pups and treat me and them with respect. I always feel heard, supported, and prioritized. Talking about support... It's a lot. In center training, in-home training, group classes, service animal classes, phone calls, and timely communications. Elite is now part of our family. In fact, my whole family is with Elite. 7 dogs in total between me, my sister, and my mom. We're called a pack now lol. Elite handles all of our dogs and separate needs, which is a big ask. Truly, this is the best program we've ever participated in. You won't regret reaching out to them. I know I'm glad I did!!

Dan taught an amazing barn hunt clinic 11/16/25 to our trial group. After 1 trial run with the rats, he was able to give individual feedback to both handler & pup. He is for sure a national champion!

Dog training elite, northern utah was the best thing that I've done. I love my dogs and putting in the money and effort is worth every penny. They have private training sessions to individualize to you and your dog's needs. I also love group classes where we get to interact with other dogs and owners and challenge and train your dog in a safe space. 💯 recommend!! All trainers are wonderful but Trevor was my trainer and I'm so grateful for the confidence and genuine care he gave me and my Griz. Griz is a big ole German Shepard with some fear reactivity mostly around other dogs, but some people as well. While we still have work to do, the difference is night and day. He and I can go out and a find joy and peace in our outings instead of fear. I honestly can't thank them enough.

Pretty sure Colleen could teach your pup to cook dinner and serve it to you! Hands down best experience and got our daughter the service dog we needed without breaking the bank. We know who we will be going to forever!

They are excellent to help training your dog. Helping you with issues.
