We have had a great experience with Dog Training Elite! The center based training with Austin was very helpful with necessary basic commands, and the in home sessions with Ali were amazing with specific needs in our home environment. Their office staff, along with their trainers are wonderful and truly care about your pups well being!

Our adopted pup had a very rough life in the beginning. We hired Dog Training Elite and worked with Bob and Mia. They helped Daisy learn how to trust people, be confident and learn many skills by command. It gave us a great start on how to continue with the training so we will have a well behaved pup and that in turn makes all of us happy!

Why we chose Vince at DTE to train our Presa Canario puppy Mater. I first spoke with Vince over the phone he had a kind gentle nature. Not only does Vince love dogs but he also loves people. Our puppy Mater took to him immediately as did my husband and I. We just finished our 6 in home sessions and we couldn't be more pleased with Maters progress but also our own progress Vince is so knowledgeable and relates that information so we understand. We learned so much. Vince isn't afraid to take extra time to answer questions, to work with you and your dog. He is a fantastic, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable trainer. From Fearful Rescue to Confident Companion – Exceptional Experience in Frisco! I cannot thank Joseph and the team at Dog Training Elite Frisco enough for the transformation in my 1-year-old GSD/Lab mix, Lily. I rescued Lily at 4 weeks old, and despite my best efforts, she struggled with severe anxiety, leash pulling, and reactivity toward people and other dogs. At 50 lbs, she was becoming impossible to walk, and I was truly worried she’d never be able to enjoy the world around her. After an insightful evaluation with Tra, we decided on the 2-week Board and Train. As a nervous dog mom, I was worried she would shut down, but Joseph was a godsend. To ease my anxiety, he provided daily pics and updates on her progress, which meant the world to me. Joseph didn’t just "train" her; he matched her energy, recognized her sweetness, and built her confidence from the ground up through discipline and engagement. He used creative training environments—like walks in the woods and outdoor sessions—to meet her exactly where she was. It’s clear Joseph views dog training as an art and is his passion; he invested so much heart into her, and the bond they formed was great to see. The "hand-off" was seamless. Joseph spent significant time showing me how to transfer those skills at home. Austin then provided the "missing link" with in-home reinforcement sessions. He was fantastic at coaching me to ensure I was executing commands the "right way" so Lily and I could have long-term success. Between the board and train and the group classes, Lily has become a thriving, loyal family companion. I have zero hesitation recommending Joseph for any Board and Train needs and Austin for expert in-home coaching. They didn't just train my dog; they empowered me to be a better owner and Lily a thriving, loyal family best friend!

When I first started training with Dog Training Elite Emerald Coast, I was honestly overwhelmed. Kora is reactive, and there were days I felt discouraged and unsure if we’d ever feel “normal” out in public. After Kora was attacked in February of 2025, I thought her career as a service dog was over. From day one, Tina and her staff met us with patience and zero judgment. Tina didn’t just hand me a list of commands — she helped me understand my dog. She taught me how to read Kora, how to advocate for her, and how to build her confidence instead of just correcting behavior. This past week, Kora passed her Canine Good Citizen test and earned her first title. I walked into that test nervous because while I know how far we’ve come, I still had doubts in myself. Watching Kora work confidently and walk out with that title meant more than I can put into words. Because of Tina and her crew, I have begun to slowly see my dog step back into service dog work. She has a renewed interest in working, she’s excited to go out in public, and my trust and confidence in her ability has improved immensely. This didn’t happen overnight. It took consistency, guidance, and a trainer who truly cared about our progress. I’m so grateful we found this company, and I recommend them to anyone who feels like they’re in the “hard stage” with their dog. It does get better — and having the right support makes all the difference.

We decided to have our dog in training to become a service dog. He was born very timid and really struggled around people, noises, and other dogs. We have been working with Kayla C. from DTE. She is awesome! She is very friendly and easy going. Plus, she has an amazing eye for the dogs psychology and body language. We passed our Public Access test today and really thank Kayla for all if her help!

I have been working closely with Paige, the trainer, on getting my golden retriever registered and trained as a service animal. We also have a German shepherd that is the program as well. The GS has been working with JB and we could not be happier! Strongly recommend!

Ali is an amazing trainer! She is so kind and patient. Ali has helped Daisy so much with her anxiety.

My sweet little puppy has big aggression issues and Marshall from Elite dog training gave me some good insight!

After the 2 week day camp with Josh and his team I have seen huge change in my very anxious 6 yr old dog. He went from being scared of everything (and barking at everything) to becoming a more confindent dog thru training. We were nervous to take him out due to his dog aggression and now have the tools to do so whether on a walk or to Petco!

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dog Training Elite. They have been so patient, kind, and understanding with me and Louie! He graduated the two week program and then the next day attended group class with about 20 other dogs. What I didn’t say is Louie is extremely dog reactive…. Our first group class wasn’t easy but he made it through with flying colors! For us it was a win for sure. We have a lot more work to do but without them we were just getting more and more limited with Louie and his anxiety was only getting worse. A huge thank you to them and we continue to be excited about Louie’s progress.

Matt and Jocy are amazing. We have only had 2 sessions and we are learning so much and seeing progress with our dog. The whole team has been fantastic. The company is quick to respond and we are excited to learn more from Matt and Jocy. Highly recommend!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the training I have received so far with my dog saki! She did a two week in training facility followed up with several sessions with Tra. I am really pleased with the results I have seen so far. Saki is the sweetest dog but she doesn’t not do well meeting new people in my own home. She had even nipped a few friends. We have been able to work on that with her and I have learned how to help her be more calm and have less anxiety when meeting new people. Previous training groups basically said I would just have to put her in another room which didn’t work because she would just bark the entire time. Now I know how to get her to be quiet and it be peaceful even if she isn’t ready to meet the person yet. I really appreciate the free consultation provide because that made me decide immediately that Tra and the rest of the team were perfect for Saki. They are also very prompt with scheduling as well. Next step is working on big boy Bear and excitement around others! Will be working with them again in the future!

They didn’t just work with Albus, they taught us how to confidently lead him and actually understand what he needed. Today My dog Nova and I did our Public Access Test. Our trainer Renee Juliano a highly trained Dog Handler with Dog Training Elite. This test is to ensure that dogs that have public access are stable. The Bottom Line of this test is that Nova demonstrates she is safe to be in public and that I demonstrates I has control of Nova at all times. Our final Result was "Pass." Renee is a valuable quality skill in her trade nothing but the best.

Off to a bit of a rough start being transferred between trainer. Then got Alina who earned my dog’s trust and now he loves lessons and works hard. We have made great progress and are almost ready for our trip to Utah. Cannot say enough great things about her.

Ali’s been great with me and my dog Spike, who has “reacted” negatively to people and other dogs, but he likes Ali (almost), as much as me, and that says a lot. Ali is good at communicating with both of us, and we’ve made significant progress with obedience and recall, and we’re working on getting Spike more comfortable around other dogs. I’ve been very happy with Ali as our trainer.
