I cannot say enough good things about this training program! When Yusi started, she struggled with anxiety, fearfulness, and listening consistently. The trainers were patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about helping her succeed. They took the time to explain everything to me and gave me the tools and confidence to continue working with her at home. Since completing training, I can definitely tell a difference in Yusi. She is more attentive, more confident, and much better at responding to commands. The improvement has made our daily life so much easier and more enjoyable. It’s clear that the trainers genuinely love what they do and are dedicated to helping both dogs and their owners. I am so grateful for everything they did for Yusi and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional, effective, and compassionate dog training. My name is Steve and my dog is Nonna from Northford Ct ,We have just finished the platinum package from Dog Training Elite of Southern Ct, Training my dog to be a service dog. Lauren The owner and Wendy in the Office and Jason and Juliana, who were the instructors out in the field, going to multiple destinations to ensure proper training and socialization for our future together, was very stress-free and accommodating for times and destinations The training was so professional that everyone was relaxed through All the sessions during an after your final training when my dog is certified as a service dog, we can go twice a month for group training, which gets your socialization and training with other dogs. The veterans helping veterans nonprofit organization, took care of all the training needs in order to hit Our final goal thank you one and all It was our pleasure to have worked with you and thank you for all your help!

Rhett was great! His knowledge about dogs(all breeds) and their tendencies was amazing. The man was full of knowledge and the best part was he answered all our questions about issues we are having with our pups with an explanation that made sense and phrased where we understood it. He explained their training packages and how they worked but never pressured us to sign up. My sister and I decided immediately after his evaluation of our pups, answering all our questions and explaining how the training will work that this was the right company and trainer for us! Can’t wait to work with Rhett on training us “humans “ on how to train our dogs! Don’t know if our babies Essex and Morris are excited but us humans are. After we have done some training, I will be back with another review from our dogs as to how things went. 😂

We cannot say enough good things about Michael and the incredible work he has done with our reactive dog, Tito. From day one, Michael was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping both Tito and us succeed. What we appreciated most was that he didn’t just train our dog—he trained us as owners as well. He took the time to explain every step of the process, answered every question we had (and we had many!), and was always available when we needed guidance or reassurance. Working with a reactive dog can be overwhelming and emotional at times, but Michael never made us feel rushed or discouraged. He showed tremendous patience with both Tito and us throughout the entire journey. His support, encouragement, and expertise gave us the confidence to stay consistent and trust the process. The results we have seen so far have been truly amazing. Tito has made significant progress, and the positive changes in his behavior have exceeded our expectations. Seeing him become calmer, more confident, and easier to manage has made a huge difference in our daily lives. We are genuinely happier because of the progress we’ve achieved together. We have two 2yo male bullies (100 & 125lbs) that were having some hierarchy/reactivity issues together. We knew they were both amazing dogs and wanted to invest in their training so that, through discipline, we could help them learn our expectations, earn our trust, and earn additional freedoms as they progress. Our trainer (Payton) has been amazing. She took the time to understand our dogs’ challenges and we saw a significant improvement immediately. This service has been exactly what we needed, and my wife and I are very glad we made the decision to move forward as our peace of mind is worth infinitely more than the price paid for some outside assistance.

We have been having the best experience with Red from Dog Training Elite. The format of the lessons are great and we feel so supported through this whole experience. We had an excellent experience with Dog Training Elite. Our German Shepherd had significant leash-pulling issues, and walks had become stressful and difficult to manage. After working with the trainers, the difference has been amazing. Not only does he now walk calmly on a leash, but he’s also much more focused around distractions. One of the most impressive things we’ve learned is the “place” command. Being able to have him settle calmly in one spot has been truly amazing and has made a huge difference in our daily life. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dog Training Elite! My daughter and I absolutely love and appreciate them—if I could give 10 stars, I would! They’ve been an integral part of our journey with Wolfie, our almost five-month-old husky. From puppy camp to obedience training, and now into the service dog program, they’ve been phenomenal. Kim, the owner, is like a guiding maternal figure—so warm and dedicated. And Aaron, her son, is equally incredible—so supportive and kind. They hold you and your dog accountable in the best way possible—firm but always respectful, never making you feel pressured or uneasy. The support they provide is just invaluable—especially with the personal videos that help us keep practicing at home. If you’re looking for dog training, especially for service dog training, this is the place!

We’ve only been working with Eric for a short time, but we’re already having an incredibly positive experience. We reached out after experiencing several incidents between our two dogs, and he has taken the time to thoroughly assess both dogs, observe their interactions, and help us better understand the triggers behind their behaviors. What has been especially helpful is learning how to identify the subtle signs that our dogs are becoming overstimulated or are about to misbehave, allowing us to intervene early and redirect them before situations escalate. This has been an emotional and stressful situation for our family, but throughout the process, we continue to feel supported, heard, and encouraged rather than blamed or judged. We’re being given realistic, actionable strategies that we can confidently implement at home, and their ability to explain the “why” behind their recommendations has given us hope and a clear path forward. Austin was great on our first day of training, the patience and understanding of training dogs is very high and great attention to detail when it comes to to dealing with dogs like ours since he has a high deal of anxiety, but Austin really took his time and giving orders and showing him the ropes
