We have worked with Red for the past few months and can see such a beautiful change in our dog. He is less nervous and listens so much better. Red is very thorough and patient with us as we learn the commands. We love working with Red! He has made us love our dog!!

I can’t say enough great things about Vince at Dog Training Elite! Over the course of our six sessions, I’ve seen a huge improvement not only in Scottie’s behavior, but also in my own confidence as a dog owner. Before working with Vince, Scottie was very dog reactive and difficult to walk on a leash, which made everyday outings stressful. Thanks to Vince’s guidance and training approach, Scottie has made incredible progress - walks are now much more controlled and enjoyable, and his reactivity has improved significantly. Since Scottie is now two, Vince helped us break his stubborn patterns. What really stood out to me was how available and supportive Vince was throughout the entire process. Anytime I had questions or was unsure how to handle a specific behavior, he was quick to respond and always took the time to talk things through. He provided practical, effective strategies that made a real difference, especially in tougher situations. Thanks to Vince’s expertise, Scottie is more well-behaved, and I feel much more confident handling different scenarios. If you’re looking for a dog trainer in Raleigh, I cannot recommend Dog Training Elite enough—especially our trainer Kyle. We came to Kyle needing help with reactivity in our cattle dog, right as we were preparing to bring a new puppy into our home (who will be my service dog in training). Needless to say, I was anxious and wanted to make sure I was doing everything right for all of our dogs. Kyle has completely transformed our home and our pack of three, a laid-back senior girl, a reactive cattle dog, and our incoming puppy. He truly feels like a dog whisperer. He is incredibly patient, kind, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that actually makes you feel confident as an owner. The biggest win? Our cattle dog, who used to struggle with strangers, is now OBSESSED with Kyle and gets so excited to see him at every session, and does well in group sessions! That alone says everything. I ask a million questions because I genuinely want to learn and build the best possible bond, especially with my service dog in training, and Kyle never once makes me feel like I’m “too much.” The entire team, from the owners to the trainers, has been so supportive, patient, and understanding of my anxiety through this process. I’m so excited to continue working with Kyle and the Dog Training Elite team as our puppy grows through continued obedience and service training throughout the year. This has been such a positive, confidence-building experience, and I’m grateful we found them! Thank you Cindy, Kyle and David! Highly, highly recommend!

We had such an amazing experience with Dog Training Elite. Angela was the trainer who came to our house, and we don’t know what we would have done if she hadn’t given us the proper structure and tools to be great puppy parents. She was simply amazing for us. The ability to text or call the trainers with any questions at any time has proved to be extremely helpful and really shows that they care. We still have a long way to go, but boy are we glad we went with the Dog Training Elite Charlotte team!

Sidney is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what she does. The sessions were well-structured and focused not just on training my dog, but also on teaching me how to be consistent and confident as an owner. I’ve seen a big improvement in my dog’s behavior, obedience, and overall responsiveness. What really stood out was the level of support and encouragement throughout the process. It never felt rushed, and I always felt set up for success.

Today was Buddy’s first lesson and in just one lesson I am impressed. He’s generally an anxious dog and doesn’t like new people in the house. He was tucked up under my arm so stressed at first but by the end of the lesson- he was even playing with our trainer Cate! I can’t wait for more lessons and for my dog to not be so anxious and more confident! 10/10 recommend for anyone who has an anxious dog.

Great start today - from crazy to calm in a short time. Toby & I have lots to learn but it seems possible now.

Blaize was knowledgeable and really listened to our concerns with Hugo. She was supportive and encouraging. After each session she made sure we understood the lesson she covered and what we needed to work on with Hugo. It is reassuring to know we can always contact her with questions once we head back north. We enjoyed working with her.

Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? YES!! My reactive and aggressive dog (at 6 years old) has improved so much. She’s been taking treats from strangers and letting them pet her! (With a few minutes of building trust) when she used to jump at them and bite instead.
