Our Dog Training Business Featured on Fox 13 Salt Lake City

It’s already been an excellent year for us here at Dog Training Elite, as we have expanded to a variety of new territories across the US. Additionally, our dog training business has received a fair amount of publicity! Most recently, our CEO, Kelley Rosequist, was featured on Fox 13 Salt Lake City’s program, The Place. Check out the full video below:

The appearance highlighted a special part of our brand, The Malinois Foundation. The foundation is designed at helping veterans who have returned from combat to readapt to civilian life through the use of services dogs. Kelley was joined by Mark Miller of Mark Miller Subaru, a local partner of the Malinois foundation. She also brought along Arrow, a service dog ambassador and Jessie, a 12-week old puppy just beginning her service dog training.

Kelley and Mark discussed the merits of the foundation, as well as some of the more technical aspects of the dog training program. “We start the training when they are 8-weeks old on average [...] until they are about 6 - 7 months old. They go live with they’re veteran then and we [Dog Training Elite] step in and continue the training for 1 - 2 years,” remarked Kelley. Many of our Franchise Owners are veterans themselves, and we are honored to give back to those who have given so much for our country! The Malinois Foundation is run entirely on donations, and community sponsors, like Mark Miller Subaru, and is yet another way that Dog Training Elite Franchise Owners are able to immerse themselves within their communities.

“Seeing that transformation from losing all their freedom to gaining it all back with their service dog is amazing,” said Kelley as she concluded the segment.

Aside from emphasizing some of the great dogs and veterans that our brand works with, the segment showed the passion shared across the Dog Training Elite family for making a difference in the lives of dog owners. Whether it be our CEO, Kelley Rosequist, or our growing number of Franchise Owners, we love what we do every day here at Dog Training Elite. On a daily basis, we strive to bridge the gap between human and canine interaction, whether it be with veterans, the disabled, those with mental health needs, or just everyday dog owners!

Our variety of immersive programs truly sets our dog training business apart from the rest. With seven different training programs and group training options, our Franchise Owners can accommodate the needs of every type of dog owner. Concurrently, these represent a variety of different revenue streams for our Franchise Owners, allowing them to maximize profits and have the potential for a quick return on investment. This pairs nicely with the low overhead costs and non-existent real estate fees for Franchise Owners, providing for a low initial investment!

At the same time, our Franchise Owners enjoy an excellent work/life balance that allows them to spend more time with their families and take time off when they need it. Since we are a home-based dog training business, our Franchise Owners create their own schedules and work around their individual needs. This is something that few other franchises can provide! If any trouble arises during the franchising process, our corporate support team has our Franchise Owners covered through thick and thin. This includes finding customers, training new employees, or pushing marketing efforts. Our support staff is trained to prepare our Franchise Owners for long term success and often visit our franchise owners personally to ensure so!

As we move further into 2020, it’s becoming less of a mystery that the Dog Training Elite franchise model helps our Franchise Owners succeed. Whether it be the work/life balance, the strong support team, the potential for high profits, or only the passion for working with dogs every day, everyone in the Dog Training Elite family truly loves what they do. Across the country, people are leaving the corporate life behind and joining us to find the career they’ve always wanted. There are only so many territories, however - so find your dream job before it’s too late!
