My Boykin spaniel is a smart but stubborn pup. Before training he could accomplish most of the basic in a controlled setting but failed with distractions. He has been doing training now for 3 months and his public outing are now like I have a whole new dog. He is still a work in progress especially when meeting up with other dogs but the group classes are helping immensely with that. We just accomplished walking through hobby lobby for over an hr without any issues. Something I would have never thought possible with his nose/smell drive.

I can not say enough good things about Dog Training Elite San Antonio! The entire team is fabulous! I had no idea how I would go about getting a service dog for myself. They helped me with everything! They evaluated the dog we adopted and the training sessions have been amazing! They are very responsive when I call and super supportive! Love, love them! Where to begin?!? We had taken our puppy to another training facility, but it was unfruitful. Our puppy had been attacked twice and was extremely reactive to many situations. Since starting classes with Dog Training Elite San Antonio, our puppy has done a complete turn around. She's able to walk along with other dogs she's unfamiliar with, stopped barking and reacting to strangers, is able to play with her 8 week old fur cousin, no longer jumps and bites because of her excitement/anxiety. We have no words to express our gratitude in helping us help our puppy! The entire team has been excellent, especially Adakias!!!!!

Took my dog for service dog training (Platinum package). She had already completed a board and train, and was very trainable. DTE took that to the next level in what feels like absolutely no time at all. It's worth noting that the training really is what you make of it. Go to the group trainings. Listen to the trainers. Hold your dog accountable. Do your homework and continue the training at home. If you do all those things, you won't be disappointed with the results.

My puppy started their service dog training at 3 months old, and I was so impressed with how much he learned in just one week. We didn’t think it’d be possible because of how young he was, but the training facility really puts so much effort into instilling good behaviors. They have made it so easy for me to really keep it up on my end. One thing my husband and I really wanted was to invest in our dog with a good trainer, and highly recommend Dog Training Elite. They’ve worked with my schedule, and really want the best outcome for every dog! Love this place!!!!

my service dog in training and I absolutely adore dte san antonio! the trainers have love her and helped build her confidence as well as mine as a handler! every time we walk in the door she gets so excited to see her ‘teachers’. the trainers at this facility also really go above and beyond to help with any kinks in the training and answer all of my questions immediately. i would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a service dog, or even basic obedience! i could go on and on about the staff here, they are incredible.

The folks here are amazing and take such great care of the pups. They get amazing results quickly while teaching the owners the best way to handle the dog in public and in the home. They truly care about the dogs wellbeing and success. Can't recommend them enough.

They really helped me with my service doggo Kreios.He is really smart and amazing. They have also greatly helped me with my Belgian Mal. All the staff are kind and make me feel like they listen,it's something I really appreciate They help me understand things when I'm lost. I was convinced on a video I saw where treats were thrown everywhere and the dogs simply ignored them. I am so proud to say that my dog Chef now ignores treats offered by straingers and food on floor when we go out for walks. Love that the training facility is always so clean. Employees are super friendly and knowledgeable. Amazed and proud on how my dogs Chef has learned so much, so fast, and now responds more positive on commands given. I personally learned alot, and feel more confident going out and having Chef help me with my Panic Disorder. I highly recommend Dog Training Elite, they are incredible!

I waited for over 3 years on multiple service dog wait lists before I found Dog Training Elite (DTE). I had no idea that I could have my own service dog, trained in my home, in a matter of weeks! Amanda is an AMAZING trainer. I thought I knew a lot about dogs until I met her. She trains not only the dog, but the person handling the dog as well. DTE is a "no brainer" if you need a service dog (or just a well mannered dog). With DTE and Amanda, I am lucky to have not only a best friend (my dog, Titus), but I also made new friends at the weekly training events. DTE and Titus brought me back into society from nearly a decade of being a hermit. I can't say enough great things about DTE, Amanda and Whitley. Thank you all for giving me my life back.
