I have a residence in the Caribbean. Unfortunately, we do not have Service Dog Trainers on our island. I was fortunate to find Elite Dog Training in Florida nests my other residence. My dog still plays and gives hugs. She is still a dog. The difference is that she is now a trained dog. We enjoy each other’s company more than ever. I was unable to take her on walks because she would pull me all over the place. She would jump on everyone she met. Now, after training at Elite , she is a well mannered dog. I can take her anywhere. Dog Training Elite has been monumental in training our young rat terrier Wally and our chocolate lab puppy Ralphy. Graham and Shelly have put together and incredible staff to train up any breed of dog. The dogs love the facility and the group training held at 1 of 2 parks in the PSL area. We will keep bringing Wally to group classes and look forward to Ralphys further training as he learns not only basic obedience but eventually training to be my father’s service dog. Dog training elite goes above and beyond the competition. They don’t just make sure your dog is trained, they make sure YOU are trained on what you need to do to keep your dog learning and growing. The staff is all extremely friendly and personable, I highly recommend them for any type of training you are looking for for your dog.

They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but Dog Training Elite has crushed that myth. When my pup’s noise aversion got to the point where we were unable to go on our morning walks, I was at a loss for what to do. DTE listened to my concerns and helped both me and my pup reframe our relationship so that she knows she can rely on me when she hears a startling sound. We’re back to walking every morning, and I have the tools I need to help redirect her focus when scary things happen.

Before I brought Milo into DTE, he was stubborn, defiant at times, and had episodes of aggression. I could not bring him places or to family events because his anxiety was so high; he would bark and howl, chase kids that were running and playing, pull on the leash when I tried to restrain him and overall, was extremely difficult to manage. He was the boss and his attitude reflected that. He would jump on the couch when he wasn't allowed and would climb on the kitchen table to get food. He would jump up on people to get their attention. He would listen only when it benefitted him (aka I had a treat). My final straw was when he attacked me twice in one night because I was sitting in "his spot". I found DTE and called them. They told me to go in for an assessment so I did. I loved how thorough the assessment was and how the trainers were using psychology to discuss Milo's behavioral plan. This was the first time I heard about boundaries and communication in regards to dogs and training; up until now it was always treat training or positive reinforcement. Milo then started his training and made significant improvements his first week. I took him to my parents house on Saturday where they were having a children's birthday party. There were about 75 people there, a bounce house, a pool, it was a lot of chaos. Milo genuinely shocked me. He didn't bark or whine, didn't pull on the leash, didn't try to get human food, didn't chase anyone. He went and placed when I told him to and sat quietly, he sat and stayed as I walked away to do something, he didn't jump up on anyone who came up to pet him, even my parents told me they saw a different dog. Then he went for his second week of training and started his group classes and the things he did I didn't even think was possible for him to do. He would walk by dogs without even looking at them, sat and stayed, placed, heeled, all things I had tried to teach him previously and practiced but it never stuck consistently because he would decide when he wanted to obey. I fully believe this is because DTE doesn't rely on treats and rewards, but principles rooted in psychology and connection. Milo learned boundaries and respect and developed obedience out of his love for me, not because I was holding a treat in my hand. He is still demonstrating consistent change. I highly recommend DTE because the impact is long-lasting and fundamentally changes your relationship with your dog. The staff is incredible in supporting you and helping you and they are all so knowledgeable. You can tell they care and are invested in you and your pup. Overall, I'm very grateful for DTE and how they went above and beyond for me and Milo. They’re the best!

Our experience with Dog Training Elite has been just what we and our dog needed. Everyone is so encouraging, knowledgeable, helpful with any concerns and questions. They focus on building a relationship between you and your dog. We attend 1-2 group training sessions a week to help keep us and Rio on task. I can't recommend this dog training enough! It truly is an investment— but hands down, the best one I've ever made. My dog was a rescue, and he came with a lot of fear and anxiety, terrified of almost everything. He wouldn’t listen to me at all, and I felt helpless. But after working with this team, my dog's transformation has been incredible. He’s become more confident, calm, and responsive. The trainers have helped him completely change his attitude and approach to the world around him. The staff is also beyond amazing—friendly, supportive, and so knowledgeable. They take the time to explain why my dog behaves the way he does, and why the training techniques work. It’s clear they genuinely care about both the dogs and the owners, and they tailor everything to my dog’s specific needs. Took our brand new 3-4month puppy, Bear, here for a gold course by the time the first week was done, we knew we wanted to upgrade to platinum, The course helped with all the main foundations that Bear needed. She was always a good dog but super hyper being a puppy and let that get to her a lot of the time, the course has truly taught her self control. Paired with the platinum coming with unlimited group classes for life, we are set up for success with Bear and are still learning everyday. Would definitely recommend to anyone

I love Dog Training Elite Treasure Coast! I adopted a very high energy one year old lab/rhodesian ridgeback mix rescue. I’ve always had dogs but he was a handful and I was beginning to believe he was too much for me but was in love with him. So for the first time ever I decided to try a professional trainer to help train him and myself. I didn’t want to spend the money but now I am so grateful that I did!!! Just after a couple of weeks I could see such a difference in him! I wish I would have done this will all my previous dogs!! Close to finishing his training and this dog is the dog of my dreams. He totally respects me and knows his commands! The Dog Training Elite trainers are phenomenal! They are so nice and very helpful and I highly recommend them!❤️

We LOVE all the Trainers at DTE - Treasure Coast. We love the Group Training Classes that are available throughout the week and on the weekends at the Parks around the area. The Trainers are all so professional while also being very personable at the same time. The participants of DTE are all such friendly people - and DOGS! Our Lacy has completed and has earned her Good Citizen Training Certificate. And we are now in training for Hearing Assist Service Dog. Each of the Trainers are so devoted to the program and to their dogs, it's wonderful to watch how well trained their dogs are - it's inspiring. I am a US Air Force veteran and have been looking for a service dog to help me with my mobility problems. Physicians at the Veterans Administration Medical Center felt the same and recommended that I get a service dog and subsequently filled out the necessary paperwork. I approached a veteran’s organization who trains service dogs for veterans, and I selected a dog from them which was a rescued 3-year-old German Shepherd. They recommended that I take her home to bond with her and to see if she was a suitable match, which I did. They said that they would call me within the following month after a training position opened, and then they would provide her training. I took my German Shepard home and bonded with her awaiting a call from this organization. After about four weeks I got a call from them and returned my German Shepard to them for training. I left her with them for almost three weeks which was hard because of the bond that I had established with her. After this three-week period, I got a call to pick up my service dog. She was not trained as I expected, they said that they tried but could not train her because she was “untrainable and not motivated enough for training”. I had no choice but to take my untrained service dog home. Because of the bond that I established with her, there was no way that I would give her up for another dog. I searched the internet for a solution and found an organization called Dog Training Elite-Treasure Coast. I contacted their office and scheduled an appointment for an initial interview with Shelley Walker. She came out to my home the following Saturday and did her evaluation. While she evaluated me, I evaluated her and felt that she was a caring as well as a professional individual. I felt that I could trust her with my new companion and who could be in my opinion she represented the organization I needed for training my dog. She ended the evaluation and stated she would contact. Veterans giving to heroes for their opinion. The following Monday I got a call from her, and she stated that Dog Training Elite-Treasure Coast would train my German Shepard and that the training would be funded by Veterans helping Hero’s. The training program began, and the initial daily training was provided for both of us at their Ft. Pierce location. As the training progressed, I found that my service dog responded well to their training protocol and was responding well to my commands at home. It was amazing how they were able to take an “untrainable and unmotivated “dog and turn it into a trained service dog who is making my life much easier. In addition. I had an excellent interaction with all the trainers and staff at Dog Training Elite-Treasure Coast. It is my opinion that they care about and become a part of the animals and the dog owners that they train. I strongly feel that all the animals that they train are trained in a highly professional manner. A very special place to take your 4 legged sweetie to learn good behavior. The trainers give each dog individual time and attention. My 7 month old mini Golden Doodle has learned so much. At the end of the day I was shown what she learned that day to practice with her. After our week of day camp, . group classes are offered. I need them as much as she does! Great experience. The learning continues for us both with the support of the staff. Glad we found them! 🐕

When I had my initial consult with Shelly I had no idea what I was getting myself into and I couldn’t be happier. My health suddenly took a dive about two years ago and I have been trying to find a way to help with my disability. We bumped into another service dog handler and she told us about DTE. I met one of the owners during my consultation and she put me so much at ease. Such a kind, caring person who was so knowledgeable about dogs, and who made me feel so seen. Having a dynamic disability makes it hard for people to believe that I’m sick and she was just like “how can we help” and i felt so validated. Such an amazing place with such amazing people and trainers. A place that Treats you like family. Their training techniques are amazing, they never stop learning and sharing their knowledge with you. If you stop learning, that’s because you stop showing up. As a veteran, I could not ask for better and knowing that I am always covered and that my dog will do what I need to when I need him There… Because not only do they train the dog, but they also train the human. In just a few weeks she helped turn my high energy misbehaved Belgian malinois into a well behaved obedient dog that i can now proudly take any and everywhere with me. We have a Maltipoo puppy. Having had another that lived 15 years, we knew all the possibilities of the combination of adorable and crazy. One evening, in Tradition Square, I saw a group of incredibly well behaved dogs of all sizes and shapes. I approached the person who seemed to be leading. It was Shelly. We immediately knew we wanted to work with her and the team. While small dogs seem cute, and are often permitted to jump, bark, and misbehave, we wanted better for our guy. Polly and I started training in Jan 2024 when Polly was just 9 weeks old. The goal was/is to train her up to be a service dog. And we are all on our way having passed all the test to be a service dog in training. When I was having trouble house breaking her, one of the staff member Kristin took her into her home and house broke her for me. Shelly Walker also was able to help me secure some help paying for the training through a veterans charity. Shelly, Graham, Sam, Kristin and Tina couldn’t be more patient training me to work with Polly. Polly has excellent manners and is well behaved. Elite Dog Training is all that you would hope for in a training Center. I brought in my 1.6 year old German Shepherd. The trainers are very friendly and my dog enjoyed all of his visits. He picked up his lessons and seemed happy to learn more each visit. I am very happy with our choice in using Elite Dog Training.

We (my husband and myself) came across this group during a veteran event and was really impressed with the dogs they brought to demonstrate what they could do. At the time we didn't have a dog with any training needs, but they definitely left an impression. Later that year we adopted a GROWING puppy (now 70lbs) and thought we could handle training him on our own. Unfortunately, we learned through an embarrassing situation that our dog was very "rude" and not very confident in his surroundings. After that, I picked up the phone and got scheduled right away to see if he was a good fit for the program. He was a great fit and we've been going strong 4 months now (1 month of one-on-one training and 3 months of weekly follow-ups). We are no longer afraid to take our dogs in public and our pup that was trained through this program has actually become the most well-behaved dog I've ever had. I am so thankful for the team at DTE for giving me and especially my dog piece of mind and a closer relationship.

I've been very pleased with the one-on-one instruction. Sam is flexible and understanding, patient and professional. Buddy graduated and we have been attending group classes. I started with Elite Training of the Treasure Coast with my 5 month old of Golden Retriever, Maggie. Over the 6 weeks training classes; my dog knows sit, down, place, come, and heel. The head trainer has taught me how to begin & strength my bond with Maggie. This has allowed training to go smoother and to see the results of our hard work together. I highly recommend Elite Dog training of the Treasure Coast with your dog. It has allowed Maggie to come out in public with a puppy with good manners and calm. Dog Training Elite has been amazing! My dog started training with them about 7 months ago and his behavior has improved dramatically. I don’t have to worry about him tormenting our cats anymore! I was at a point where I wasn’t enjoying my dog, Krueger. He had zero respect for my husband and I and he became unmanageable; I would dread when my husband would have to leave the state for work because being around Krueger on my own for an extended period of time was so unbelievably overwhelming for me. Don’t get me wrong, we love our dog!! He is so funny and goofy! …but he is a Great Dane and at that time, he was already an 80 pound puppy 😳 I contacted Dog Training Elite and was automatically put at ease after speaking with Kristin. Shelley came over to evaluate Krueger the following week and I instantly felt that she was an angel sent from heaven. She was with us for only half an hour and I quickly already saw a change in my dog. Fast forward to today: KRUEGER IS NOW A WELL-MANNERED, RESPECTFUL BOY!!! Dog training Elite has been great. I brought a new pup into my family.. My fear was not being able to find anyone who was capable of training a Cane Corso as they are very smart but stubborn suckers.. Dog training elite were more than ready for the challenge. My boyfriend and I purchased our very first Belgian Malinois puppy at 8 weeks old. If you are familiar with this breed then you know how high energy they are and how much mental stimulation they require. As Coral got older we thought maybe we had gotten in over our heads with getting this breed because of how loud, mouthy and bossy she was becoming. She would jump on us when arriving home, bite our arms to the point of bleeding, and bark uncontrollably at us. We started researching dog trainers around us and the search led us to Dog Training Elite with Shelley and Graham. I had two requirements when I was interviewing trainers: experience with the Belgian Malinios breed and a trainer who involved the owner with the training and didn’t just take the dogs to their facility for 8 weeks. Dog training Elite met those requirements and blew our expectations out of the water! My boyfriend and I purchased our very first Belgian Malinois puppy at 8 weeks old. If you are familiar with this breed then you know how high energy they are and how much mental stimulation they require. As Coral got older we thought maybe we had gotten in over our heads with getting this breed because of how loud, mouthy and bossy she was becoming. She would jump on us when arriving home, bite our arms to the point of bleeding, and bark uncontrollably at us. I had two requirements when I was interviewing trainers: experience with the Belgian Malinios breed and a trainer who involved the owner with the training and didn’t just take the dogs to their facility for 8 weeks. Elite has been an awesome experience! We are only halfway through our training and we have already gotten our moneys worth. Bingo was a 6 mos old rescue puppy with no training and now she is well on her way to become a service dog for our son. Dog elite training has been an absolute dream to work with. We have a mini aussie, named daisy… and a golden retriever, named maple! Both have been through their puppy training and are both moving to their service dog training! Our whole experience with the DET has been exactly what you want… we have well behaved dogs, the tools and education to continue the training at home as well as the support from DET when needed! I think the best part is the group classes. Our dogs absolutely love group and also learn so much from all the different exercises! Our golden doodle (Walter 🦮) was an extremely friendly dog and he is a big dog. He would jump and puppy nip people. Being big was hard for us to keep him under control. Until Ashley showed up. She trained Walter and us (people too) how to keep him less anxious. It’s been a great program so far with the techniques and the e-collar. Ashley is an excellent trainer and cares about the dogs as much as the people she trains. Lol. We will continue with group sessions and hope to have Walter be an excellent, well behaved dog.

Bentley is part boxer and Great Dane and was very aggressive Jumping,Barking, Running, Growling sit on me letting me know he was my boss, The Last Straw was when went to give my husband a hug and kiss bye he jumped and tried to bite me at this time he had made himself the boss of the house, until we went a strawberry festival and seen the information about Dog Training Elite,We signed him up for a interview Shelly can to our home and said a couple commands like sit ,stay and down lord and behold we thought that was amazing.We signed him up it has been the best Decision we’ve ever made.But first she said we’re going to train you to train him. From his first class we have a complete Different dog he now knows we are the boss not him!!! Since then it’s great to walk him and him not walking us he knows the commands we give we have a different pet.ThankGod we met Elite because we had talked about giving him back to his mommy and daddy. Our dog Koda is a giant schnauzer, and we have two mini schnauzers so we didn’t think much of getting a “bigger version” of them. Little did we know that giants are known to be a working breed and NEED to be worked. We got koda training from Petco at a young age since we knew he was going to be big and needed his behaviors to be under control. And that only lasted so long before he started to have bad anxiety and that was due to needing to be worked, which we had no clue about. Koda was VERY close to being kicked out of our home because he was just destroying everything in our brand new home. So we finally reached out to Dog Training Elite and they SAVED US. During the free initial assessment Koda was all over Shelly, the owner, while her and I were talking about the best plan for him. Fast forward 4 home sessions, Koda now is not at the door barking and jumping all over people when they come to the house, and actually following all of his commands that he has learned. My fiancé and I are so thankful that we got training because we did not want to have to get rid of him. The training is DEFINITELY worth the investment not only for you but also the dogs well being.

I have never hired a trainer before and let me say I am so happy I chose Dog Training Elite. We rescued a 2 yr old mix breed that was found with wounds on her neck from being tied up. I knew I would need professional help with her training. From my initial phone call setting up the free home demo I just knew I made the right decision. They took the time listening to our needs and what we are looking to accomplish with training. Then our trainer Ashley came over with 2 of her dogs. With a lot of work on Shelly's part, practice on my part an Rosie's ability we succeded in achieving our goal of training her to be a service dog in record time. Our Great Dane is under a year old and is over 100 lbs. other programs were very expensive. This was reasonable and in only 1 session he was completely in control. This is a great program!

We rescued a dog in November that we couldn’t even walk because he was so scared of his shadow and he would just growl at everyone that walked in the door. From day one, Sam has been so patient and amazing with him and really built his confidence. My pup immediately sits on her feet and loves on her when she walks in- along with anyone else. He is a bit of a stubborn boy and she remains so sweet and patient with him and he’s learned place, down, heel and many other things in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend using them even if you have a rescue dog that you think may be beyond help. It has been a game changer for us!

We have loved our experience with Dog Training Elite TC. Our Dalmatian has done a 180 in terms of obedience. We were taught the basics at home with one of their trainers. We had the pleasure of working with Sam, and had time to practice and ask lots of questions. They to are very hands on, even in the group trainings. Highly recommend them.

I have 4 dogs one being a 6month old Lab puppy and a 10 year old stubborn beagle. I had given up on the beagle ever being social and not "high maintenance". Sam at DTE has gotten our beagle to bark less be much calmer. The 6 month old Lab is just perfect now. Everyone who comes over comments on what a difference the training has done.
