There are several things you’ll notice about the Dog Training Elite team of the Treasure Coast, whether you visit their facility or you're working with a trainer. These are just a few reasons for my 5-star review: 1. The Owners Are Trainers Themselves- In fact, unless you’ve done your homework, you won’t know that the person greeting you and your dog in the lobby and giving you tips when your dog reacts, just so happens to own the place. They are completely hands-on. 2. This may be a business of training dogs, but the staff all have special skill sets for working with humans, to show up the way they do with customers. Every call, every request is handled kindly and efficiently. They don’t leave you hanging and waiting – they really follow through – cheerfully, no less. Every person on the staff gives you the feeling that they truly love what they do. This makes a huge difference, day in and day out, in how they handle anything that comes up. 3. The trainers (so far I’ve worked with Nick and Nate) have a kind of “contagious calmness” about them. As a newbie to dog training, I’m really impressed with how they greet all of my questions and concerns with the same kind of enthusiastic reassurance that my puppy responded to immediately. (You can’t fool a dog!) Trust me, you’ll want to emulate their behavior yourself when you see the best in your dog start to surface. 4. The 6 months of unlimited group classes in the package I chose, proves to me that they're patiently with you, committed to your-and your dog's -progress. Some things take time and, if you haven't already learned patience yourself, you will by watching the trainers. In short, I highly recommend this business for you and your dog. They set a very high bar!

I never would have thought it possible for my dog to learn so much in such a short amount of time. The trainers were wonderful with her and with us as they taught us how to support her continued training. They recognized and valued her personality as she learned the obedience skills they were teaching. They worked with our schedule and provided the necessary encouragement for us and for her. I would recommend Dog Training Elite to anyone who wants to build a strong relationship with their well-behaved dog.

Our pup has made huge progress since we began training with Nate and the rest of the team. Nate was very knowledgeable and adjusted our sessions to address any immediate concerns we had with our newly adopted dog. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience with this training company, especially with our trainer, Cassandra. I have a young, high-energy Golden Retriever who was very high-strung and easily distracted in public, making it stressful and unenjoyable to take him places. After working with Cassandra, the difference has been amazing. She gave us the tools and confidence to communicate with him, and his behavior has improved tremendously. It’s now genuinely enjoyable to take him out, and the training has truly changed our lives. We couldn’t recommend Dog Training Elite more!!

WOW what a great experience! I was skeptical at first as I thought our dog was untrainable. Our dog is a whippet mix and a handful, didn't listen, wouldn't follow simple commands, wouldn't walk on a leash, and we were at our wits end. We found Dog Training Elite in Fort Pierce and am so glad we did. After one week, he's a different dog. He's learned all the basic commands and is a pleasure to be around. The videos they send of his training sessions are fun to watch and the "how to" videos are a great follow-up after the training is completed. The trainers are so patient and take their time with your dog (and you). I wish we would have done this sooner. I highly recommend Dog Training Elite and wish I could give more than 5 stars. This was located in Fort Pierce Florida close to our house. The dog is a lot calmer now and easier to control. We acquired her from an animal shelter and worried about how she would be. Her DNA report said she was part Siberian Husky and Shih tzu so we have a shitsky or huskyzu or so it is said and she is very active. The school calmed this down. I am thankful for that.

These trainers are miracle workers! Graham, Shelly and all the team are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Would highly recommend them to anyone. They turned my dog and me into a functional team. They are a blessing to me.

Very professionally run organization full of caring personnel. From front office to trainers, all staff love and care for all dogs of all ages. They try to set you up for success!

Last year, we moved our puppies from a 5-acre farm where they had absolute freedom to a townhouse in Hobe Sound. WOW—what a transition it was for my husband James, our boys Scout and Atticus, and me! James and I were at our wits’ end trying to adapt the boys to townhouse life. There were lots of walks, endless patience, and plenty of frustration for all of us. I knew we needed real help, so I did a Google search and found Dog Training Elite. Shelley was our first point of contact, and the evaluation process was super easy. Because I have a disability and James spent 30 years in the US Coast Guard with mobility issues that will likely become more challenging as we age, we decided the service dog training package was the best option for us. From day one, the entire crew at DTE has been absolutely amazing. Boot camp was awesome, but it quickly became clear that it wasn’t the dogs who needed the most training—it was us! Scout and Atticus were smart and picked up the program way faster than we did. Every step of the way, Shelley, Graham, Nate, Taylor, Laura, and the rest of the team made the whole learning experience fun and rewarding. The group classes, service dog classes, and real-world outings have been incredible. They’ve not only deepened our bond with our pups but also introduced us to a wonderful community of people we truly enjoy spending time with. DTE really goes above and beyond. We just attended their First Aid Class taught by a veterinarian, and the events they host are fantastic for building the dogs’ confidence in real-world situations. I can’t put into words how grateful I am that I found Dog Training Elite. Whether you’re looking for basic obedience, advanced training, or full service dog work (PTSD, mobility, or anything else), these are the people to go to. In my opinion, you won’t find a more caring, dedicated, and knowledgeable group anywhere.

Dog training elite has made an amazing difference in my dogs. One of my dogs was a rescue from a puppy mill, 2 years old , never house broken, a real challenge. Today he is a different animal, he and I are very happy.

Both of the trainers that I have for my dog are great! They teach you a lot and are definitely very knowledgeable.

We live in Stuart Florida. We reached out to Dog Training Elite for help training our chocolate Labrador, Max. From the initial consultation to the beginning training we were extremely satisfied with the skill and professionalism of the trainers. Graham was very patient and knowledgeable helping us learn the valuable information needed to build a successful relationship with Max. Clara and Madison were very accommodating with scheduling our sessions. I highly recommend Dog Training Elite! Max is on his way to being a well trained obedient boy.

My German Shepherd Piper has learned so much through her Training with DTE. The trainers are so patient and knowledgeable. I love the weekly classes to reinforce what she has already learned and it helps me keep her on track. THANK YOU DTE!!!

I would give this group 100 stars if that was an option! I found myself with an unruly young lab puppy (Maisy)that I feared was untrainable. She was jumping on people, constantly in the pool, barking all time, etc. We called Dog Training Elite to seek help - and boy did they deliver! Nate came to the rescue as our trainer and is beyond words amazing. The first day I expressed doubt, but his calm confidence left me feeling hopeful. Nate and the entire group that supports him are patient knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand our dog’s behavior and needs. The training methods were clear, effective, and based on positive reinforcement, which made a noticeable difference in a short amount of time. Ten weeks and lots of practice later I have an amazing companion in Maisy; we are both happier and enjoy spending time together. This program is worth every penny. Nancy Jessee

Rosie was a trained service dog who was trained at another facility. However, later we found out that she was abused and bit by another dog. This caused extreme anxiety and stress for not only her but me because she became very reactive to other dogs. I had looked at other places for help but they didn’t hear my concerns. I was very hesitant about leaving Rosie anywhere. When I called Dog Training Elite from the first interaction with Kara to Meeting Shelley the owner I knew I had finally found my place. Shelley not only listened to my concerns but actually heard me. I cannot say enough about this team. I loved the fact that I got daily videos of what they were learning and then reinforced with me upon pick up. The trainers are amazing at what they do. We adopted our precious little bundle of joy at 8 weeks old. He came home and it was absolute chaos!!!!! Biting, chewing furniture, Zoomies he did it all 🥺 my husband and myself we were at our wits end and thought we had made the biggest mistake of our lives. However, we were referred to Dog Training Elite. We met with the owner Grant who told us what we would expect and how our dog would begin to behave. In just a matter of weeks we had a completely different puppy (a puppy that we absolutely adored and fell in love with) he is very well mannered and has a much better temperament all thanks to Grant and Rivers trainer Taylor ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ this place is a 10 out of 10 if you want to love your dog I am speaking from experience because I did not love mine and I am embarrassed to say that now 🥺 but 100% thanks to them we have an excellent dog and he's still just a puppy he couldn't be any more well-behaved ❤️

We truly cannot put into words how much Dog Training Elite has changed our lives. When Graham first came for Stella’s evaluation, she was aggressive, growling, barking, and terrified of anyone new. He took his time, answered every single question we had, and gave us a clear, detailed idea of what the training process would look like. For the first time, we felt hopeful. Then Nate came and everything changed. Nate has helped us completely transform Stella. She’s gone from a fearful, people-aggressive dog to a confident, calm, and happy girl who can now be around people without panic or aggression. Everyone who knew Stella before training and has seen her again afterward cannot believe how far she has come in just four weeks. Her progress has been remarkable and beyond anything we imagined possible. Nate is incredibly patient, compassionate, and genuinely cares about the dogs and the families he works with. His dedication shows in every interaction, and the changes we’ve seen in Stella are truly life-changing. We also want to thank Christine and Corinna, who are always so courteous, kind, and helpful on the phone and with scheduling. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. We are looking forward to the rest of Stella’s training and the lifetime support through group classes. Dog Training Elite has given us our life back and given Stella the confidence and life she deserves. We are forever grateful.

DTE is amazing! The positive change we see in them in three weeks is amazing! They heel very well and are beginning to sit without a verbal command and follow our verbal command too either left heel or right heel. The trainers are absolutely amazing.
