Dog Training Elite offers small dog training classes after obedience training is completed and only once a dog is fully immunized. Dog obedience classes in Treasure Coast / Port St. Lucie are held on a consistent basis and are included in most packages. Our dog obedience training classes are designed to place yourself and your dog in public places (surrounded by other dogs, people, smells, and sounds), so that you can train your dog to obey you... regardless of the many distractions screaming for their attention!

Classes are a mix of all dog breeds and sizes, and our classes provide necessary socialization skills and practice around high levels of distraction. We like to make our group classes exciting for both dogs and handlers, we have created fun training games and an environment that feels less like a class and more like a social outing. We are building a community and our dog training groups tend to feel like a family and less like a dog training group. Friends are made, bonds are formed, and both dogs and dog owners look forward to their once a week group training sessions.

Sam is an excellent trainer and incredibly knowledgeable! Our Golden Retriever, Rudy, loves her and Sam has really been patient with him. She has done miracles with his training and we are so thankful to have went with the Dog Training Elite crew to get our boy trained! No one better to train your pup - caring, kind, loads of patience in every trainer. Personalized in home training graduating to group lessons. Noticed a difference in my pup after the first session. Now I have a puppy I can take everywhere I go.—

Our Great Dane is under a year old and is over 100 lbs. other programs were very expensive. This was reasonable and in only 1 session he was completely in control. This is a great program!—

We rescued a dog in November that we couldn’t even walk because he was so scared of his shadow and he would just growl at everyone that walked in the door. From day one, Sam has been so patient and amazing with him and really built his confidence. My pup immediately sits on her feet and loves on her when she walks in- along with anyone else. He is a bit of a stubborn boy and she remains so sweet and patient with him and he’s learned place, down, heel and many other things in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend using them even if you have a rescue dog that you think may be beyond help. It has been a game changer for us!— Brandi Wyer

We have loved our experience with Dog Training Elite TC. Our Dalmatian has done a 180 in terms of obedience. We were taught the basics at home with one of their trainers. We had the pleasure of working with Sam, and had time to practice and ask lots of questions. They to are very hands on, even in the group trainings. Highly recommend them.—

I have 4 dogs one being a 6month old Lab puppy and a 10 year old stubborn beagle. I had given up on the beagle ever being social and not "high maintenance". Sam at DTE has gotten our beagle to bark less be much calmer. The 6 month old Lab is just perfect now. Everyone who comes over comments on what a difference the training has done. Thanks DTE we feel comfortable going out with her.—

Shelly is awesome our dogs love her. She is so kind, calm and caring We wish we would have used her sooner. What a miracle!! Our dogs were constant barkers and totally stressed out when other they saw other dogs, golf carts, motorcycles, bicycles, skateboards etc. well no more!!!!
