Our Balanced Theory
We base our training around the "Classical Conditioning" model (a.k.a. "Pavlovian" or "respondent conditioning"). This includes developing conditioned or automatic reflexes to commands. In its simplest form (after proper conditioning), when the owner says "sit," the dog automatically sits without thinking about it. Our unique techniques ensure our program is a success no matter what behavior we encounter.

Sam is an excellent trainer and incredibly knowledgeable! Our Golden Retriever, Rudy, loves her and Sam has really been patient with him. No one better to train your pup - caring, kind, loads of patience in every trainer. Personalized in home training graduating to group lessons. Noticed a difference in my pup after the first session. Now I have a puppy I can take everywhere I go.—

Our Great Dane is under a year old and is over 100 lbs. other programs were very expensive. This was reasonable and in only 1 session he was completely in control. This is a great program!—

We rescued a dog in November that we couldn’t even walk because he was so scared of his shadow and he would just growl at everyone that walked in the door. From day one, Sam has been so patient and amazing with him and really built his confidence. My pup immediately sits on her feet and loves on her when she walks in- along with anyone else. He is a bit of a stubborn boy and she remains so sweet and patient with him and he’s learned place, down, heel and many other things in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend using them even if you have a rescue dog that you think may be beyond help. It has been a game changer for us!— Brandi Wyer

We have loved our experience with Dog Training Elite TC. Our Dalmatian has done a 180 in terms of obedience. We were taught the basics at home with one of their trainers. We had the pleasure of working with Sam, and had time to practice and ask lots of questions. They to are very hands on, even in the group trainings. Highly recommend them.—

I have 4 dogs one being a 6month old Lab puppy and a 10 year old stubborn beagle. I had given up on the beagle ever being social and not "high maintenance". Sam at DTE has gotten our beagle to bark less be much calmer. The 6 month old Lab is just perfect now. Everyone who comes over comments on what a difference the training has done. Thanks DTE we feel comfortable going out with her.—

Shelly is awesome our dogs love her. She is so kind, calm and caring We wish we would have used her sooner. What a miracle!! Our dogs were constant barkers and totally stressed out when other they saw other dogs, golf carts, motorcycles, bicycles, skateboards etc. well no more!!!!
