We purchased the gold training package for our one year old rescue dog, Herman. Working with dog training elite and Taylor has been great! When we started, Herman barely knew how to sit and was reactive towards other dogs. Taylor engaged our entire family, including our senior dog, Ellie, during the at home training sessions which was nice. The personalized at home sessions taught Herman the sit, off, quiet, down, place, and heel commands. Taylor was very flexible with scheduling our sessions which was nice. After the at home sessions, we began group classes. At our first class, Herman was overly excited and had to be calmed down in the painting lot before joining, but by our third class, he was almost non-reactive to other dogs and sits calmly in groups. Though Herman is still a bit stubborn with down and occasionally distracted during heel, I’m amazed at how far he’s come in such a short time. I highly recommend Taylor and dog training elite.

Taylor is incredible. From the very first session, it was clear how knowledgeable and skilled he is. He is always kind, patient, and takes the time to listen to any questions or concerns. I adopted my dog Simba at 5 years old, and while I don’t know everything he’s been through, his fear and anxiety showed up as aggression toward others. Through working with Taylor, I’ve learned how to better understand Simba, manage his behavior with commands, and keep both him and others safe. I no longer feel anxious passing strangers on walks or having new people in my apartment. This progress takes time and consistency, but Taylor has done an amazing job teaching both of us. Dog training is an investment of both time and money, but this experience has been so worth it. I’m so grateful and would HIGHLY recommend Taylor to anyone looking for a trainer.

We hired Taylor to help train our rescue dog Scottie to be more comfortable around other dogs and some minor obedience issues. Taylor is very patient and was great about teaching us to be more confident as dog owners. I had an incredible experience working with DTE to train my non-standard rescue dog into a fully certified service animal. Their team in the office was wonderful, always addressing any issues in a straightforward and accommodating manner The real star of the show however, was my trainer Jaime, who went above and beyond for me. My reasons for seeking to acquire a service animal created unique challenges for him. My dog's own history from prior to his adoption also created unexpected behavioral issues. Jaime adapted his approach on the fly, and my guy Lugh was able to pass each new test on the first attempt. In all honesty, I would not be surprised to see the man walk on water.

Taylor was a great trainer! He did a great job accommodating our busy house with two little kids while still providing top tier training to our dog. Within five sessions we saw huge improvements with our dog!

We hired Dog Training Elite to help train our now 10-month-old Belgian Malinois/Lab mix, Bear. If you know anything about Malinois, you know they can be a handful if not trained properly. I contacted several trainers about working with my dog on her behavioral issues with no replies. Taylor contacted me and was confident that he could help us. Taylor's patient and organized approach to training Georgie has begun to work! Taylor answers our questions, and we have noticed changes in her behavior. Delivery people and neighbors have also noticed her calmer demeanor. We are looking forward to the group training for further growth.

I highly recommend Dog Training Elite. My dog Jed is a German Shepherd and is very energetic and reactive to social situations. Taylor's sessions built on one another reinforcing proper behavior and adherence to commands. Gaining an understanding on dogs psychology and Jeds specific makeup helped immensely in understanding and applying the training. Taylor went above and beyond with his commitment to the training to making sure all the aspects of the training were clear to my entire family and always available to answer questions outside the sessions. We felt that we may not be able to keep our dog due to his stubborn, reactive disposition but now we are delighted in the progress he has made and look forwards to many years with him now.

Taylor was AMAZING with our dog Lady. We rescued her from ACCT in September, and she came with some reactivity issues. The training with Taylor has helped her come a long way. She's more current and relaxed now. She's actually excited to wear the e collar! Taylor was very knowledgeable and great with our pup. We would definitely recommend him.
