So far so good. We reached out to Dog Training Elite Utah. They were very responsive and came to our home and helped us with tons of info. We are first time dog owners and no nothing. They were so patient and helpful. We are very excited to be working with them and will give updates. -Update: We are not into our training and learning a ton about our little puppy. I am so so very happy that we are working with Dog Training Elite. After just the first lesson we were able to get Chico to obey some of our commands! I am shocked at the info they gave us and how it worked so fast.

I love Dog Training Elite Utah County. The trainers are phenomenal and the change in my dogs is huge. All the trainers really care and help with so much. Deidre did almost all of our solo in home lessons and she is amazing. My dogs are like night and day. They helped me to become a better person and dog handler. I figured out that a lot of my issues were me and not my dogs. Thank you so much! Highly recommend them all for dog training.

My dog, Piper, was the neighborhood terror. Literally. The neighborhood kids would come up to me and tell me she was scary. I was convinced that no one would get to see the Piper I know. Previous trainers barely made it through the door. In the very first session with Deidre, Piper calmed down. The difference is obvious! Deidre did what no one else could. In summary, if you feel like hope is lost with your dog and you have to keep them away from the world, call Dog Training Elite. They changed both our lives for the better.

Deidre and Meagan are absolutely fantastic at what they do! We started training with a 12 week old puppy and were just beside ourselves - she was having constant accidents in the house and we had no idea what we were doing. We even had the puppy in diapers! We called Dog Training Elite and they got us in the schedule right away! Our dog, although still young, doesn’t have accidents anymore (no more diapers - yay!!) and has even learned a few commands that are just a bonus for us. We couldn’t be happier with what we got in the puppy training package! If you’re considering doing training, I’d say go for it, there’s no way you will regret having a well-behaved dog and that’s exactly what you will get. Thank you for everything!! 😊

I am so happy with Dog Training Elite!! I was hesitant to spend the money, but cared about my dog getting over his anxiety issues, IF possible. I wasn't sure we could help him. I had already spent quite a bit of money with online courses that didn't work. In a last ditch effort to help my little pup, I did a google search and found Dog Training Elite. I thought about it for a few days before calling. They were very nice and scheduled a visit that day. Deidre came out and spent some time with us and assessed my dog and explained everything thoroughly. Their payment plan made it doable for me and I scheduled our training sessions. After only 2 visits, I'm ecstatic with his progress! Deidre is definitely a dog whisperer. I now have so much hope for my sweet dog's future. I HIGHLY recommend Deidre and Dog Training Elite!

They are always wonderful and understanding. We have a rescue that has some behavior issues, we have used trainers from big box stores and professional trainers. We have had the most success with Dog Training Elite! Some of what we learned at the big box store classes enforced bad behavior masking it as part of the learning. Should have started at Dog Training Elite!

Evan, Ryan and Deidre have been amazing! We had so much chaos and lack of structure for our dogs, and they have given us relief and resources. Follow up 6 months later-Reggie had some continued training to learn to fetch things for his girl, and is absolutely incredible at it thanks to Evan and his team!..We also took a trip to Florida with Reggie. First flight with him, Disney World, and Universal Studios for ten days straight. He did absolutely remarkable, and most people didn’t even realize we had a dog with us until they noticed his Minnie ears. He was able to ride several rides with his girl, and did incredible! Elite dog training is the absolute best of the best!!! We have a service dog for my 9 year old, and between Evan, and Kaycee I couldn’t ask for better people to work with! They have gone absolutely above and beyond to help our pup do any, and everything possible to help our daughter live the most independent life despite her chronic health problems. The amount of time, and work they have put into Reggie these last two years is astounding. Because of them Reggie is able to spend countless weeks in the hospital with my 9 year old, he goes to school with her everyday, and goes everywhere she goes. He is by far the best dog ever because of the incredible people at Elite. You can absolutely tell the people at Elite love what they do! 5 stars is not enough to describe what an incredible company this is!! We LOVE Utah County Elite dog trainers!!

Today was our fourth training session with Elite, I couldn’t be happier. Bailey has trained with both Meaghan and Deidre both trainers have been AWESOME! Every single training session has helped me to be the best leader I can be. Bailey is my first from scratch puppy, I was so concerned that I would do things with her that would lead to bad behaviors that she would have to unlearn and it would be my fault, as soon as we started our training with Elite those fears went away immediately!! With Elites help I am confident we will achieve our goals!! I am so grateful! Bailey is doing so well, I can’t wait until we complete our training and we can go everywhere together! I am really look forward to being able to go through the doors that were closed on me 17 years ago when I suffered a traumatic brain injury. We have three girls that we absolutely adore, but we have had some challenges with our oldest and youngest. While we have a good amount of knowledge, we need extra help/training on how to help reactivity that has recently become a bigger issue. So my husband found Dog Training Elite, and we have been super impressed. Diedre came to our house for the consultation and because of her, I decided that this was the company we would go with to help us. She also is the person that comes to our house for training sessions. Her knowledge and expertise on dogs who are reactive/aggressive/stubborn is amazing and she answers our questions and concerns with such knowledge. She doesn’t make me feel like a crappy dog owner. She makes me feel at ease and also feel empowered that I can changed my dogs behaviors with what she is teaching us. We still have more training to do, but I believe with what I have experienced so far, we will be able to have a house that is not full of tension! I also want to share my experience with Kaycee. Kaycee is who I have texted/called with questions and to set up the appointment times. She is so easy to talk to, she always texts back to see how things are going, and I don’t feel judge for what I’m experiencing with my ladies. The care she has for how my dogs are and how training is going is amazing. She is quick to respond, even when I tell her that she doesn’t have to respond quickly. The whole team clearly cares about the household and wants to help, which I’m forever grateful for. I am so impressed with this company so far, I had to share a review now even though training is not done yet. While the training is an investment, this training is worth it!!!

I adopted a five month old Doberman from the shelter in April He is sweet but seemed aggressive sometimes as being discarded by others had no confidence We are about half way through training and he is much more confident but still a puppy. I have seen a great change in him. Deidre has been the main trainer and loves her job and wants success which is apparent. Meagan and Casey have been great too. Funny how it’s training me even though I’ve had many dogs the last 40+years. They are all good dogs but I’m going for a REALLY good dog and I feel like we are on the right track I would recommend dog training elite to all but be committed as the key is making sure the dog knows you are aware what is expected and that is being a responsible pet owner😁 Sorry if I misspelled trainer names

My dog started training 2 weeks ago and is already a different boy. In the 3 obedience commands he has learned over all he has just become more obedient and less aggressive. I love my trainer and so does my dog. I love that they are able to train without turning my dog into a robot, he is still my sassy baby boy. He just also now listens. It has been completely worth it!

We’ve had an exceptional experience with our dog trainer, especially with Deidre's guidance. Our journey began when our puppy was 10 weeks old and we dove headfirst into puppy training, eager to mold him into a therapy dog for hospital volunteer work. However, our optimism was quickly overshadowed by a frustrating hurdle: the dreaded habit of poop consumption. Feeling overwhelmed, we reached out to the trainer for help. They were incredibly supportive, offering a variety of solutions to address the issue. When the initial attempts fell short, they promptly provided alternative approaches, ensuring we never felt alone in our struggle. Thanks to their guidance, our puppy, now 5 months old, has overcome this unsavory habit! We're immensely grateful for their expertise in navigating this challenging aspect of puppyhood. Having successfully completed the puppy training program, we've seamlessly transitioned into the obedience program. Witnessing our puppy's progress has been truly remarkable and encouraging. He is developing into a patient, well-mannered dog and has learned many obedience skills that we can build on.

We have been working with them to train our very high energy and sometimes anxious Husky/Doberman 1yr old dog, and after just the first session he's been a totally different dog! Deidre is wonderful. She genuinely cares, pays attention, gets to know you and your dog, and then makes sure to focus on the areas that will make a difference with the lifestyle you want with your dog. If I could give more stars I most definitely would! There really is not enough words that can be said about this company. Our Frenchie George was a very stubborn and hard headed frenchie and if you own one then know what I’m talking about. The methods they use are awesome! This company really is THE BEST hands down! Our 4 month old Cavapoo Teddy went from a sweet and sour little velociraptor into the cuddliest, most obedient puppy in only a couple of sessions! Evan, Kaycee, and Deidre are so knowledgeable and professional, but also very personable and compassionate. This has been nothing, but the best dog training experience that we could have hoped for, and it’s been amazing to see the night and day difference in Teddy each day we practice our new skills. We have 3 teens and a toddler, and despite how much we love him, Teddy might not have been able to stay had we not been able to stop the territorial biting that started a couple months after we got him- especially after he bit our toddler’s face and punctured a couple of hands. To say they saved us is an understatement, and now we feel extremely blessed to have their help for the rest of Teddy’s life. I have a very adorable, loving affectionate bernedoodle who is going on 2 yo. He is also very determined, stubborn and naughty!! I needed a serious action plan and I was so happy to find dog training elite to come to my home. Evan the owner was great to come out and meet with us first to explain the program. His dog Echo is trained by him to perfection! Kaycee is the frontline for this business and she does a phenomenal job in answering all questions and concerns and was there for me throughout the whole program. She is so kind and understanding as well as responsive. Deidre and Meghan were the ones who came weekly to walk us through the e-collar training commands. They were great. Meghan is new to the program but doing awesome. Deidre accompanied her and she is absolutely a natural at what she does. The whole team is great and I am already seeing big success with my baby boy! I am so happy to have their program as I can now enjoy him that much more as well as not worry about his safety running away and not coming when called. Let me start by saying we have 4 kids (5 and under) and our 3 year old was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes this year. We had no idea how we were going to manage a puppy, let alone train it to be a service dog on top of our already chaotic lives. Evan came to help us choose a puppy out of the litter. We started scent training at 8 weeks old and he is now giving us live alerts at 5 months! We’ve had many trainings with Evan and it’s very cool to watch. He knows his stuff! We’ve had great training lessons with Kacey as well, and she is always available to answer our questions. This process has been overwhelming at times and she is our cheerleader that keeps us going! We love her! These people have given us the tools and support we needed, and we are so excited to see the end result. I would recommend these trainers to anyone!

I don't normally write reviews, but DTE has been an absolute god send. I have been in need of a service dog for years, but it was never a viable option for me financially. Not only have they made this training program affordable, they are available 24/7 to answer my questions. They come to you for the first many weeks of training, which has been so helpful with my health conditions. Every person I have worked with has been absolutely wonderful. I am so glad I chose to go with DTE. Evan came out to do my assessment with my dog reactive pit bull spartan, and I loved the way he interacted with spartan. He was not pushy trying to get me to sign up with them which was a nice change from other assessments I have had. Ryan and Deidre worked with me and my dog so patiently and not only made him better, but made me better. After our first session, there was already a big difference in Spartans behavior. Today I finished my last one on one session and spartan is an entirely different dog in the best way possible! I could not thank the team enough!

We recently started having our dog trained so she can be a service animal for our daughter. I was amazed that only a few weeks in I was able to tell our dog (who thinks she has to be attached to us at all times) to stay, and she stayed in one place while I exercised. I was even more amazed when I then went upstairs, took a shower and came back downstairs to find her still in the same place I’d told her to stay. Such a win! The trainers have been so good to explain every part of the process and the why behind everything. They answer all our questions and concerns with so much patience and kindness, no matter how silly they may be. This is making a huge difference for us and our dog.

It has been a fantastic experience working with Dog Training Elite Utah County to train our now 4-month-old puppy (we started when he was nine weeks old). We have had the pleasure of working with trainers Ryan and Deidre. We have undergone Puppy training (w/ Ryan) and are three weeks into obedience training (w/ Ryan & Deidre). Ryan and Deidre are so well-prepared and patient with my family and me. We can't speak more highly of their training sessions. We are new to dog training and appreciate their time, expertise, and effort. Our puppy is thriving. We took our puppy on his first experience at Petsmart. We walked in, and a dog immediately barked aggressively; dogs were everywhere. In one of our sessions, Ryan taught us how to handle those types of situations to ensure our pup felt secure and to show him how to trust us, and it worked like a dream. We used many of the tools we had learned in training during that trip; he sat, heeled without pulling, and placed so patiently and calmly. We were so proud of our pup. We wouldn't have been able to have the success we did without Ryan, Deidre, and Dog Training Elite. We also want to share what a joy Casey has been to work with. Casey is always so cheerful and patiently answers any questions we have had. If you are in need of a company to help you train your dog, this is the place to go. They are affordable, their customer service is top-notch, and their trainers are exceptional.

We have had a great experience with our Doberman, he was really struggling with reactivity, and just had a lot of puppy energy. Deidre has been an absolute saint. When I first got my puppy Phoebe I immediately felt overwhelmed with the puppy scare and not knowing how to train her properly and feeling that I had made a huge mistake not being well prepared. I called up Evan and set up puppy training and by the first appointment felt so relieved that all I was experiencing was normal for a puppy owner. Now, as Phoebe is about to turn 1 year old I am blown away by her confidence, good behavior, and loving demeanor that has been able to blossom because of the training both she and I received through DTE. Both the home puppy classes and the group behavior classes was crucial in getting to build trust with her and now I am so excited with all she's going to accomplish as my Psychiatric Service Dog. I cannot thank DTE (Evan, Ryan, Deidre) enough for all their hard work with me and Phoebe and helping us gain confidence that have gotten us to where we are now and where we'll get in the future! The price of the program can seem really daunting but DTE are some of the most compassionate folks and are willing to work with your situation and your dog (whether you're training a pet or a working dog) is going to be worth it and the confidence you also gain as they're owner and family member is priceless, in my opinion!

We are very happy to have selected Dog Training Elite to help us train our Mini Dachshund. We selected the combination of private lessons and public in the park training. I am seriously blown away by how effective this training has been for our dog just after 5 weeks. Every trainer we’ve interacted with was extremely nice, informative, and we can tell they really care about our dog! Our dog’s behavior has changed tremendously, he listens to us more than he ever has in the 7 years we’ve had him. My wife and I were sort of nervous to spend this much money on dog training (we spent almost all of the money we have saved) but after seeing the results, we are so happy that we did. 5 stars isn’t enough!

Before I started training, taking my dog, Finley, out caused me a lot of anxiety because I never knew if or how she was going to react. These folks are compassionate and will also be honest with you. They are flexible yet structured. They are fun and serious about what they do. They are personal and professional. You know a thing is full of goodness if it can hold paradox and nuance and adjust to context. I trust them a lot and appreciate what they teach me. I have trained service dogs myself before but I got this new pup and my old methods weren't working with her so I took the leap to get into a beginners mind and learn a new way of doing and thinking about things with these folks and I'm glad to add this to my toolkit for working with my super smart independent pup. This is a passion of mine and they met me with their passion and helped me do far more for myself and my dogs than I was anticipating. It wasn't just helpful and liberating, it was therapeutic to trust them and myself working with my girl. If you put in the work they ask you to do, you will see results. It's the best part of my week. Highly recommend these people (Evan, Ryan, and Deidre) and the organization as a whole as well. Made me want to work for/with them...

Our cute little puppy was seriously struggling after we brought a new baby home. He was nipping at my older kids, not listening, and totally testing his boundaries. We were very close to re-homing him but decided to try dog training elite. I loved that they did the free in home session and they had so many good reviews. I would 100% recommend to any dog owner!! Simba was an entirely different dog even after just one session. We had Ryan as our trainer the entire time and he was the best. We never felt any judgment on our serious lack of knowledge with dog training and he always checked in to make sure we understood and see if there were questions. You can tell he has a passion for animals and really wanted the best for Simba and our family! I love that once the personal training ends we have group classes and there is an open communication forever that we can call or text with any dog training questions that might come up. It is worth the investment for your pup and I feel like now we can have a well behaved pup that we feel comfortable taking anywhere and can really be part of the family!

We are so happy with our experience with Dog Training Elite! We just finished all of our private lessons and the change we have seen in our dog is amazing. We adopted an 5 year old pit bull mix and she lacked basic obedience and was very nervous and reactive with other dogs. In working with the trainers at Dog Training Elite we have helped her learn how to navigate those stressful situations, and we have learned how to handle them as well! We are now confident taking her on walks or to parks, she is now more obedient than most the other dogs we know, and we even recently introduced to her my parent’s German Shepherd (we tried before finding Dog Training Elite without success which was one of the things that lead to us making the investment in training, but I’m telling you, with the tools they give you it’s like night and day)! She is doing so well and I can’t recommend Dog Training Elite enough! We are excited to start group lessons.

Some of the best money I have spent! We have an 18 month old Goldendoodle named Maple. She was not behaving well - pulling on walks, jumping on house guests, barking at strangers on walks. It was to a point where I had to mentally prepare myself for her evening walks. We knew we had an issue that needed to be fixed. After doing some research I found this company. Evan the owner will come to your home for a consultation with your fur baby and recommend the program he thinks suits them best. We purchased the 5 in-house trainings and our trainers name was Ryan. He did such an amazing job and quite honestly I feel like we have a totally different dog. I take her on multiple walks a day, have no anxiety when company comes over. I am blown away with the results. Thank you Evan and Ryan! Appreciate all of your help!

We love Evan and Dog Training Elite more than words can explain!! I have been astounded by the support system that this group has to offer. We have an especially difficult and aggressive dog that we are in the process of training. After just one in-home lesson, Evan has dropped what he is doing to come to our home and teach us training tricks… TWICE!! I have never worked with a company/program of any kind that cares for their clients the way that Evan does. He always says, “we’ve got your back” and I know that he means it. I would recommend DTE to anyone, there’s no one else I would rather have train my dog.

We've tried dog training before with a different company but gave up due to no results. When we tried DTE we were skeptical but even just the free hour-long consultation with Evan showed us this place cared more than the other. We also noticed results after the first session. We worked with Deidre, Ryan and Evan to train our dog as a service dog for PTSD clients we work with. They are a great team and each of them know how to cheer you on and encourage more from you and the dog. Plus, they focus on building confidence and, when you're the only handler/dog in a public space with good behavior it really goes to show how much hard work the team and us put in. We could not recommend these guys more!

We worked with Ryan for our in home sessions with our two Malamutes! One malamute is 4 years old and the other is 10 months old. Ryan was awesome to work with! We’ve had a great experience and seen major changes in the behavior of both our dogs. We highly recommend Dog Training Elite. They were always on time, professional, and eager to answer any questions! We work at least 15 minutes a day with our dogs on their training. Some weeks are better than others, but it’s surprising how fast they picked everything up! The only issue that we’ve run into is that the dog collars are very inconsistent when it comes to having a thick coat like our malamutes have. We switched to longer prongs and have ordered some winged tipped prongs to see if it can make better contact with their skin. A lot of the frustration we had with our dogs behavior has completely disappeared. We can’t wait to continue working with them at group classes!

Evan and Ryan were excellent. Spent plenty of time answering my questions and always make themselves available. Their training dramatically improved my relationship with my dog. My dog is awesome, but you know, he's a dog. He does annoying things. Now that I have the tools and methods to communicate with him, the frustration is gone! This was easily the best money I've spent on anything dog-related.

Our 1 year old Rottweiler, Bear, completed Elite Training Camp with trainer Erin. This experience was an absolute life changer! Erin was amazing and made sure that she helped address the unique issues that we were experiencing. Before training, we had reached the point where we dreaded taking Bear out in public because he didn’t listen to us and was hard to manage. At home, he was always trying to assert his dominance. That all changed after working with Erin. She taught us how to get the very best behavior from Bear. We are happy to have such a well behaved dog and Bear is happy that he can go more places with his family. I absolutely recommend Erin and DTE.

Our Staffie had some major Aggression and obedience issues; with him already being 5 years old and with recently bringing a newborn home, we were nervous and knew we needed help correcting our dogs bad behavior. Hi, I’m Evan Sutton! After my service in the military, I was looking for something that was fun and rewarding. After applying through the Malinois Foundation to get a service dog, I realized dog training was that thing. I am currently the lead dog trainer and love building up my clients and team to reach their full potential.
Some fun facts about me: I’m 6’8” and a big teddy bear. I love riding motorcycles and off roading. I have 5 dogs: 2 Belgian Malinois, 1 Frenchie, 1 Bug (Boston Terrier/Pug), and a Dachshund. I am commonly known around the office as a Disney princess because all animals seem to flock to me…I’m not mad about it.

Hi, I’m Deidre Wilson! With the help of awesome family and friends I sought out a dog trainer to train my Doberman to be a service dog for me. I found DTE and loved building up my training skills and how much of a difference my pup made. I joined the team to help others, reach their full potential with their dog and get their lives back just like I did.
Some fun facts about me: I’m average height but my hair makes me a few inches taller. I love lifting weights with my all time best at 500lbs for a single back squat. And no I don’t squat that much anymore but can get kinda close. I have just my one pup for now but am hoping to add another Doberman soon!

Hello! My name is Meagan Ahlstrom and I've always loved being around animals, especially dogs. I knew I wanted to work with animals and I started out as a dog bather in 2021 and have been grooming dogs since 2022. I wanted to further my dog repertoire so I seeked out dog training and found DTE! I love working with all the different types of dogs and especially love helping out at group class.
Fun things about me: I did woodworking for 4 years and have made several furniture pieces, I have a Pomeranian Chihuahua mix who I competed with in dog agility, and I love plants!

Hi my name is Kaycee Pullman! I am a mother of three incredible children and three incredible pups. In my free time I enjoy caring for my ridiculous amount of house plants, camping and being around those I love. From a young age people always told me I had an abundance of charisma and that I would one day help many people. Lucky for me, here I am! My passion for service dog training runs deep, being as I have seen first hand my kids lives impacted in the best way with their service pups.
