UPDATE

We have developed training programs that follow social distancing practices.

We have developed training programs that follow social distancing practices.

Our trainers begin working with puppies as young as 8 weeks old. We will even help you select a puppy from a litter that possesses a desirable and teachable temperament. Treat training will be used until the puppy is 12-14 weeks old at which time advanced puppy training will begin.

At Dog Training Elite Arizona, we strongly believe that the key to sustained obedience and training is to empower owners to be an integral part of the training experience. Most programs for puppy training in Phoenix require minimal to no involvement from owners and once the puppy returns to their home environment, almost all progress is undone and owners feel just as helpless as they did before.

dog trainers in Phoenix

Dog Training Elite Arizona has developed a highly successful and unique positive puppy training program that empowers dog owners and their canines to work together, creating strong bonds and sustained obedience. Dog Training Elite Arizona's in-home dog training in Phoenix, AZ is highly personalized and are designed to teach owners how to train their puppy alongside a professional puppy trainer in their home environment as well as in public settings.

We use a positive puppy training method paired with an electronic collar. This is not a shock collar. Unlike a shock collar, an electronic collar does not hurt or harm the pup and is used only to obtain their attention, not to punish bad behavior. We believe in using ongoing praise to encourage good behavior. The difference becomes clear when comparing a puppy that is trained out of fear and intimidation vs a puppy who truly desires to please from the inside out.

Puppy Obedience Training

Our Balanced Theory

We base our training around the "Classical Conditioning" model (aka "Pavlovian" or "respondent conditioning"). This includes developing conditioned or automatic reflexes to commands. In it's simplest form (after proper conditioning) -- when the owner says 'sit', dog automatically sits without thinking about it. Our unique techniques ensure our program is a success no matter the behavior we encounter.

We empower owners to train so their dog knows who to obey at all times.
  • Personalized

  • Environment Specific

We train wherever issues tend to arise (i.e. jogging, park, home).

  • Involved

  • Simplified & Customized

We plan training around owner's schedule and require only 15 min/day follow-up practice.
