Dog Training Elite has been wonderful in working with my service dog in training. We started working with Tom and Abby when Charlie was a puppy. Now at one years old, Charlie has grown so much in her obedience. We’ve trusted their process in training, and it is absolutely paying off. Being able to attend bi-weekly group classes has been very helpful in maintaining her obedience and to learn new skills. Tom and Abby have always been willing to do individual sessions to help target specific tasks Charlie needs to learn. I absolutely love working with Dog Training Elite!!

When Joe and I started on this adventure of getting a puppy to train to be a mobility support dog for Joe due to his MS, I was a bit unsure of if we could make it happen. As Cole, an English Labrador, began growing into a LARGE puppy who didn’t know his strength I was concerned he would end up knocking Joe or others off their feet! With the wonderful guidance from Tom at Dog Training Elite, Cole (Joe and I) have learned to obey commands, listen to each other, act more appropriate around other people and dogs, and greet others without jumping on them. Joe, Cole, and I look forward to continuing our journey with Tom and appreciate all that he has done!

We have been using Elite for a little over a year and they are fantastic. The one on one sessions in your home are so worth it and make the biggest difference. We are currently starting the protection training for my big guy and the trainers are excellent!

My dog loves Tom! He is so knowledgeable and has been very patient working with my reactive dog. We've learned so many different practice exercises, and the group classes are a great place to practice what my dog has learned! When I got my puppy, Henry, I was hoping to turn him into a service dog, but had no clue where to even start. Tom has been there every step of the way to help us get to that point. Henry will now alert to me on his own, and I know that wouldn’t have been possible without Tom’s expertise. And I have been so impressed with how well thought out the group classes are! It’s been amazing to watch Henry’s improvement with each outing. Would 1000% recommend this program to anyone!

I own a mental health practice in Louisville. My team and I decided to train a therapy dog. I had no idea how much time and attention would be needed. We are about 4 months into her training and it is going well. She is only 7 months old so she still has some puppy energy. Tom has been super patient with me. Anyone can tell you that I am not coordinated at all. Trying to walk, use the training clicker while not tripping over my dog is challenging for me. I have gotten frustrated with myself more than once. We just started group classes and I was so impressed with my girl! We have finally gotten to a place where I feel more confident.
