Dog Training Elite Greater Cleveland is exceptional. They helped train my little monster as both a service animal and therapy dog. He’s constantly getting compliments on how well-trained he is and how calm he behaves across environments. He all plays very well with other dogs. We’re continuing to work on mastering his skills so he can accompany me in my work as a MH provider. Having a well-trained dog is such a game changer! I can’t recommend Josh and his crew enough.

We had an amazing experience with Dog Training Elite Greater Cleveland! Kevin was absolutely fantastic — he was incredibly patient and knowledgeable during our off-site training sessions with our dog, Lily Rose. He was always available to answer any questions we had, no matter how small, which made the whole process so much easier for us as dog owners. The rest of the staff was also really great and so helpful throughout the entire process of training Lily Rose. You can really tell the whole team is passionate about what they do, and it showed in the results. Lily Rose has made incredible progress and we couldn't be happier. We would highly recommend Dog Training Elite to anyone looking for professional, reliable dog training. And when the time comes to get Lily Rose a little brother, we'll definitely be calling them again!

Most importantly, every single person there was so kind, so friendly and so helpful. Their clear instructions and personalized approach was above and beyond my expectations! I am so grateful I found josh at dog training elite. I had been to 4 other trainers with my german shepherd and was told there was nothing I could do that I should buy a kennel and crate for when people came to my home and to use a muzzle when out in public which to me was not a solution but after training with Josh, River is a completely different dog josh showed me how to train River to be cordial in public and around friends and family I feel so blessed to have found Josh. River and I are now considering joing a search and rescue team. If you are trying to decide if dog training elite is right for you or worth the money it definitely is.

Our 5-month-old puppy, Piper, just completed her in-facility training at Dog Training Elite Greater Cleveland, and we truly could not be more grateful for this experience. This has been the best experience for my puppy chunks ever! From the initial consultation to the in home trainings after being in the facility, the whole process has been smooth and stress free and has made a huge difference. Hayley was a gigantic help walking us through everything and teaching us how to replicate what he learned in class! 5/5 stars 100%!!!

We cannot express enough how this training changed our dog Mickey for the better. Mickey had no confidence before the in facility training classes. He enjoys learning and he is so happy since his confidence has soared. Every one of the trainers were so knowledgeable and knew exactly how to read Mickey and knew what he needed to respond to commands. It was amazing from day one to see the transformation in our dog. He shows a calmness now yet a readiness to please. He does not jump on company any longer when they arrive. It is such a pleasure to take him on walks as he is attentive and enjoys hearing the command to heel. We thought that was enough in itself but the other commands that were taught such as sit, down, place and off have become second nature to him in such a very short time. Kevin has come to our home for in home training and has helped tweak a few commands this was a tremendous help. Since the training also helps us as owners/trainers we have been able to even do some fun tricks with Mickey such as spin, reverse, high five just to name a few just because he loves to keep learning. Another major change, Mickey never goes on our new furniture any longer when we are not at home once we commanded him off, along with the help of the E Collar this was a fast turn around. We are so pleased with the whole program and tell everyone we know about it as they have seen Mickeys positive changes.

We used Dog Training Elite for our foster dog, Champ and couldn't be happier with the outcome! Champ was very fearful and had a traumatic past, and we chose Dog Training Elite because of their extensive experience working with nervous dogs. We pursued obedience training hoping to establish routine, boundaries, and help Champ build trust in his humans. Champ genuinely loved going to "school" every day, and came home at the end of the program with a good understanding of all the basic commands we were expecting. The team was also great about transferring their knowledge and techniques to us to be able to continue working with Champ and building up distractions. While Champ will always be a nervous dog, we've seen his confidence grow so much since he's been home and we're excited to see how far he can go!

Josh has been in my home for multiple training sessions, and I can’t say enough great things about him. Not only is he incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but he’s also genuinely personable and easy to work with. We have a great time each session, and my 7-year-old dog has made tremendous progress in just three visits — far more than I ever expected in such a short time. The training is effective, compassionate, and tailored to our needs, and the results speak for themselves. I can’t rave enough about this team. If you choose them for your canine family, you will not be disappointed!

Elite in North Olmstead is FANTASTIC! We now have well behaved 9 month old pug sisters who actually sit, come and stay in place! I was impressed from the start, with the detailed, thoughtful approach to our orientation, sign up and start of class. The trainers were fantastic because they explained Rosie and Frankie's behavior - broke down the why's - and taught us right along with the girls. My confidence grew with each week, despite the unexpected distractions of life (including a trip to the hospital). I was impressed with the way this group worked as a team and really cared about my furry family members. Our girls went into heat in the middle of their two week plan, and Josh called us at work so we could be prepared and assured us we would pick right back up when they finished. Sure enough! The cost is well work it. My expectations were far exceeded. These trainers know dogs, they know how to train dogs, and teach the humans as well! Pugs are for stubbornness. This is pug 7 and 8 for us, and for the first time I'm walking well-behaved dogs outside! The girls are leaving things alone, sitting when told and seem to have a certain calmness and confidence since class. These folks know what they are doing and they do it in the most professional, compassionate way!

Josh and his team of trainers are top notch! We took our 6 month old German shepherd there for obedience training. We have noticed a huge difference in lunas behavior. Thank you all at elite dog training.

This should have been written months ago, but because of the training our pups went through, for the first time in two years, we are no longer prisoners of our home and have been busy traveling and enjoying life with our well-behaved pups. Before Josh came my husband and I were unable to leave our house together, one of us had to remain home to ensure our home wouldn’t be destroyed. We were also unable to have friends and family over for fear of someone being bitten. We addressed our concerns with our veterinarian who HIGHLY recommended Josh and his team. She specifically named Josh because she was aware of his success turning around the behaviors of the most aggressive dogs. So now we had three choices: remain isolated, enlist the help of Josh or euthanize our pup. We trust our veterinarian completely and decided to call Josh. We signed up for the at home, 1:1 training since Bodhi was not appropriate for the group training sessions yet. On his first training day, Bodhi was a growling, gnashing, Whirling Dervish. We were scared for Josh, but he was calm. By the end of the first hour Bodhi sat still at Josh’s side. Each week brought larger improvements. Not only was the aggression gone, but other unstable behaviors ( jumping, non-stop barking, charging the fence) also diminished. We have now joined a new community with people walking their dogs in close proximity to us without an issue. Friends who were unable to visit because of Bodhi’s behaviors now enjoy interacting with him. We have been able to crate train him and are free to leave as a couple. Additionally, we have been able to apply what we learned To help our other dog be well behaved. The training that we learned can be applied to all of our future pups as well. Ours was very dire situation that was completely turned around in eight weeks due to the training Josh

They far exceeded our expectations. Josh and Lexiwere always patient and with our dog and us. I could not control Miles and now she is off leash. I would recommend them to everyone and can’t say enough good things about our experience.
