Scott and Jen are absolutely amazing! They helped train my dog to become a service dog, and I truly could not be happier with the results. She has done so well transitioning into college, and I honestly don’t think we would be where we are today without all of their help, guidance, and support. Scott and Jen were always there to answer any questions I had, whether it was something big or something I just needed reassurance about. They genuinely care about every dog and every client as if they were their own, and that really shows in the way they train and communicate with you. I also absolutely loved the group classes! They gave us the opportunity to work around different dogs, people, distractions, and environments while still having the support and guidance of experienced trainers. Being able to practice in real-life settings made such a huge difference in preparing my dog for college and everyday life. I was so happy that we were able to train in so many different places and situations while still having that support when we needed it. Another huge plus is that their prices are very reasonable compared to other dog trainers, especially for the amount of time, knowledge, and individual attention they provide. You truly get so much value, and it is clear that they care much more about helping you and your dog succeed than just making money. They helped me build confidence in both my dog and myself as a handler. Watching how far my dog has come has been incredible, and I am so grateful that we chose Scott and Jen to be part of her training journey. Our Cece completed 10 months of training and passed the Public Access Evaluation. She is a happy service dog now and busy at work. Scott and Jen are diligent about helping their clients succeed and meet their goals. They are always available to answer questions, provide lots of guidance and the group classes are very useful. Scott is very knowledgeable and very personable - both to the human and canine training participants. He provided both verbal instructions/explanations as well as more 'show and tell' type interactions so we would be able to follow his examples once the sessions were done. Very easy to coordinate training sessions via text and were always very accommodating to our schedules. Left behind/shared multiple instructional collateral to help us interpret/incorporate training methods. Highly recommend!

I’ve worked with Scott for about a month now, and it’s been time well spent. He’s a great trainer: calm, patient, and a fun personality dogs really respond to. Scott and Jen are AMAZING to work with. When they came to the house to meet us and evaluate my Neko, they took the time to get to know her, her personality, and listened to my concerns about Neko's behavior and my expectations about her training. Scott gave me a couple of tips and things to do with her that I started on following their initial visit. I could already see a change in her behavior. I was nervous about how Neko would act at our first group session, but her behavior had changed so much (for the better) that I actually cried tears of joy when it was over. I cannot thank both of them enough and am extremely grateful to them for their understanding, help, and support. You cannot go wrong with DTE!

Dog Training Elite with Scott and Jen has been an amazing experience for both my dog Baxter and myself. Since starting with DTE, Baxter has experienced leaps and bounds with his training in both basic obedience but also for certification. We were preventing our Golden Retriever from living her best life: she has a STRONG drive to visit with any human or dog within 100 yards. Her urges put her in many unsafe situations with moving traffic and uncomfortable non-dog lovers. After an unsuccessful session of obedience school, we took a leap of faith investing in DTE. We are so glad we did, and after a few short weeks with the team, our dog's potential became so obvious that we pursued a therapy certification. Now we have the ability to bring joy to others in nursing homes and schools while allowing our dog to do her heart's desire: visit with others. People are amazed at her behavior and compliment us often. And, I no longer worry about her darting across the street on our daily 1 mile off-leash walks! The investment was SO worth it!

Scott has been a great trainer to work with and is willing to take the time to work through things to help me get it right when I work with Toby. I have noticed an overall improvement and feel more confident on the work I am doing between sessions.

Scott was absolutely amazing! Patient, kind, and knowledgeable. My dog had a biting incident and while most would've thought this dog needs major help, Scott met with him and saw my dog just needed a few minor corrections and not some overly expensive, drawn out training program. Couldn't recommend someone better!

Fantastic experience with Scott and Jen! Helping us take back the control of our middle aged dogs at our own home where the behaviors are seen naturally. No boarding or over charging, honest and fair estimates. And giving you and your dog their full attention at every session, moving at the pace you are comfortable with. Scott and Jen are the best! Training was at our house and our toy poodle named Sophie bonded with Jen immediately. She was fantastic. The group classes are fun also and it's great to see her behave around other dogs. We all enjoy them! I can't recommend them enough. They are great people and great trainers!

My Daughter Elizabeth was 14 years old with special needs when she started with Dog training Elite. She started training her Dog Goose when he was just 12 weeks old.
