In-Home Dog Training in Cincinnati, OH

Goose is a little guy with big opinions! Scott + Jen helped us navigate through the crazy puppy behaviors. They offer lots of options for training. I highly recommend them for in-home and group training👍

Scott and Jenn are dedicated professionals that are passionate about their job to help owners overcome training challenges. They truly want to improve the owner and dog relationship and their care shows in their one-on-one classes and in the massive efforts they undertake for the formal group classes. We (and our dogs) highly recommend them.

Scott and Jenn have been absolutely wonderful trainers! They communicate exceptionally well with our family and explain and demonstrate each training technique in a way that’s easy to understand and follow. It’s clear how much they genuinely care about the animals and their success. They go above and beyond to help you reach your training goals and set both you and your pet up for long-term success. We highly recommend them!

We cannot thank Scott and Jen enough for their training expertise! We have two doodles, each with very doodle-like needs, including one with reactive behavior after being attacked by another dog when she was younger. We needed tools in our toolbox to ensure our dogs felt safe, but also to hold them accountable to their behavior. Our training experience was more than successful! I receive compliments from neighbors about their change in behavior and I can confidently navigate walking both dogs while pushing a stroller without the extra stress of my dogs poor behavior. I would highly recommend Dog Training Elite.

I have been using their training for my giant schnauzer Morticia, they are amazing at making your dog feel comfortable with them and trust worthy of instruction. They are the most knowledgeable team I've met in Cincinnati so far . I did shop around at first but there truly is no one out here besides them that deserves the business. They'er incredible at what they do and you and your dog will love them.

Dog Training Elite Greater Cincinnati demonstrated exceptional understanding of dog behavior, providing expert instruction on advanced dog training techniques to consistently improve my dog's obedience and behavior. Scott and Jen are a very calm and patient tag team of trainers. Their love of dogs is apparent and they genuinely make you feel your fur baby is the best thing on 4 legs.

The best trainers I’ve found! Knowledgeable, kind, accommodating and extremely helpful staff and trainers. They truly want the best for you and your pup. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Scott & Jen for puppy/service dog training. I cannot emphasize the gratitude I have for these two trainers that have stepped in to help me along my journey. They have made the impossible, possible with my specific situation and needs. They never gave up on me. Even when it got really really hard. Watching them fight for me helped me fight for myself. I would absolutely recommend this agency for dog training! I honestly wouldn’t look any further. Pricing is reasonable and affordable, especially for the outstanding service and dedication that you receive with it.

I needed a service dog and DTE was recommended by a friend in the seniors business. DTE comes to your home, conducts detailed training and performs a very professional service. I cannot recommend them more highly, as their training sessions are always entertaining and educational for the dog and provide a fabulous environment for training. Terrific company!

Scott & Jen have been such a big help in training our golden retriever to be a service dog for my daughter who is on the Autism Spectrum. They are very hands on and listen to your individual needs and concerns. Group class is an awesome way to expose the dogs to new challenges while surrounded by other dogs, people and the distractions of the world. I highly recommend Dog Training Elite for anyone looking to make someone else’s life easier by training a special four legged friend to work beside them day to day!

Our Cece completed 10 months of training and passed the Public Access Evaluation. She is a happy service dog now and busy at work. Scott and Jen are diligent about helping their clients succeed and meet their goals. They are always available to answer questions, provide lots of guidance and the group classes are very useful. We will continue to enjoy these classes. You receive personal attention to meet your needs. I highly recommend Scott and Jen for all types of dog training. Thank you Scott and Jen!

I’ve had a great experience so far training my dog with Scott and Jen! They’ve both been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and great to work with, and I’ve already seen a lot of progress with my dog. I would highly recommend them to any dog owner looking for professional training!

Scott and Jen helped us navigate through the Labrador puppy stage with the ultimate goal in mind: training Kingsley to be my diabetic alert dog. We conquered basic training, public access, proper commands, human errors, and continue with training as we navigate life together. They are wonderful to work with from both a personable and professional standpoint as they adapt to the quirks of the dogs and humans! Have questions or hiccups along the way? They are on it!!! FIVE PLUS STARS!!! Peace of mind and reassurance is what I now cherish having my medical alert dog always by my side. Thank you to Scott and Jen for giving us this training, guidance, and support—which does not stop when the purchased training package is completed. A great dog goes hand in hand with a well trained owner! 🐾

I highly recommend Dog Training Elite Cincinnati. We’ve worked with several dog trainers over the years, and Scott and Jen are truly different. Their approach is incredibly warm, patient, and personal while still getting amazing results. They genuinely care about both the dogs and the people they’re working with, and that balance is something we’ve found really hard to find. It’s hard to put into words how much Scott and Jen have meant to us over the years. We’ve worked with them with multiple dogs and through so many different stages, and they are truly the people I trust when it comes to our dogs. They helped me train my service dog, which makes our experience with them especially meaningful to me. They helped us build a relationship and level of communication that has genuinely changed my life. Now, years later, we’re back working with them with a new puppy, and I love that I still learn something every time. They’ve never made training feel like there’s one “right” way to have a dog. They take the time to understand the individual dog, our family, and what we actually need our life with our dogs to look like. More than anything, you can tell how much they genuinely care. Our dogs are such a huge part of our family, so having people I completely trust to help us understand them and bring out the best in them means a lot to me.

They work wonders for your furry friends, excellent group of trainers!

patience, kind & knowledgeable. Thank you for helping us with our anxiety dog.

My Daughter Elizabeth was 14 years old with special needs when she started with Dog training Elite. She started training her Dog Goose when he was just 12 weeks old. Scott and Jen have been wonderful not just as trainers but their patience and understanding with my daughter and her needs as well. They both are so knowledgeable! I can't recommend Dog Elite enough! 200% would recommend for all dog training needs.

Scott has been a great trainer to work with and is willing to take the time to work through things to help me get it right when I work with Toby. I have noticed an overall improvement and feel more confident on the work I am doing between sessions.

Scott and Jen are absolutely amazing! They helped train my dog to become a service dog, and I truly could not be happier with the results. She has done so well transitioning into college, and I honestly don’t think we would be where we are today without all of their help, guidance, and support. Scott and Jen were always there to answer any questions I had, whether it was something big or something I just needed reassurance about. They genuinely care about every dog and every client as if they were their own, and that really shows in the way they train and communicate with you. I also absolutely loved the group classes! They gave us the opportunity to work around different dogs, people, distractions, and environments while still having the support and guidance of experienced trainers. Being able to practice in real-life settings made such a huge difference in preparing my dog for college and everyday life. I was so happy that we were able to train in so many different places and situations while still having that support when we needed it. Another huge plus is that their prices are very reasonable compared to other dog trainers, especially for the amount of time, knowledge, and individual attention they provide. You truly get so much value, and it is clear that they care much more about helping you and your dog succeed than just making money. They helped me build confidence in both my dog and myself as a handler. Watching how far my dog has come has been incredible, and I am so grateful that we chose Scott and Jen to be part of her training journey. If you are looking for trainers who genuinely care about your dog, your goals, and your success, I cannot recommend them enough! I also absolutely love how honest they were and they both were so patient with everyone!!

Scott is very knowledgeable and very personable - both to the human and canine training participants. He provided both verbal instructions/explanations as well as more 'show and tell' type interactions so we would be able to follow his examples once the sessions were done. Very easy to coordinate training sessions via text and were always very accommodating to our schedules. Left behind/shared multiple instructional collateral to help us interpret/incorporate training methods. Highly recommend!

I’ve worked with Scott for about a month now, and it’s been time well spent. He’s a great trainer: calm, patient, and a fun personality dogs really respond to. We’re three sessions in, and it’s already made a big difference in my anxious GSD’s confidence, which is a huge relief to me. Excellent training philosophy!
