Tiffany was a great representative from dog training elite excellent trainer. She knows her stuff she made great recommendations really I believe she understood what was going on however, I will not be able to use any of the group classes because you dog training elite doesn’t have a location in on the North shore. I’m not going into Boston. I’m not going west the Western part of Massachusetts. I live in Marblehead so until they can use the Lowe’s on 114 in Danville or Home Depot here in Salem, I’m not interested

Just when I thought nothing would help Moose, I stumbled across Dog Training Elite. We took Moose in this past January as his third home. He was reactive due to past abuse/trauma and very anxious, but we knew he had a big heart. On top of moose being reactive, he is also 175lbs and hard to handle... meaning he was house-bound. We decided on the Platinum Obedience package, which includes 9 in-house trainings and 16 group classes. Happy to say that today we were invited to group classes, which back then felt so out of reach! Moose can now tolerate people, children, other dogs, go on walks, and has tremendously cleaned up his obedience. We would like to thank Marshall, Matt, and Tiffany for their patience and dedication towards Moose. Our lives have changed for the better!

We hired Jason to help us train our yellow lab, Rory, to be a diabetic alert service dog for our 11-year-old son. Jason and his team have been incredible for this entire journey--which we are now more than a year into! Jason is always incredibly responsive, very easy to communicate with, an excellent teacher, and Rory loves him! He clearly enjoys his job, is very knowledgeable, and is great with children and dogs. Working with Elite Dog Training in New Hampshire, Jason gave us advice on which puppy to choose (taking into consideration gender and breed), and started scent training with us when Rory was 11 weeks old. Jason has focused on the scent training and service dog component of the training, while the New Hampshire chapter led the obedience and group training portions (since we live in New Hampshire). Jason provided great suggestions and one-on-one training sessions with my son and I. He helped us trouble shoot any issues and helped both son and Rory develop a great bond. He has trained us through scent training with tins in the open, to tins hidden on my son, to open air scenting with my son, to passing the public access test. He worked with us in our home, in a variety of public areas, and at the school. Jason has been invaluable in integrating Rory into the school system. He is a great presenter to the school administration and has been an invaluable resource for the school, addressing their administrative and logistical concerns. He has walked us all through how Rory and my son will thrive in the school environment. He has visited the school to meet with the school team and to walk my son through each of his classrooms to show him where to place Rory, how to place her in the room while he is working, how to navigate P.E., lunch, and recess, how to interact with the public (including other children) and has been very helpful in troubleshooting throughout it all. He was very well received by the teachers, administrators, school nurses, and the school community. My son loves him and describes him as “awesome!” and “the best!” Rory can’t stop wagging her tail whenever Jason is near, and always wants to play more with him. Jason answered every question we had, and was very patient with my son. Not only is my son diabetic, but he is also easily distracted (ADHD/ADD) and on the spectrum. Jason was able to explain things to my son in a way that he could understand. He has a great balance of humor and seriousness, which my son really responds to. We highly recommend Jason and his team!

Tiffany was great! She helped tremendously with my stubborn Chihuahua, Vivian. She introduced a new and somewhat scary prong collar to my dog to help with correcting her jumping and lunging and barking at nearby dogs and people and worked on walking up and down my hallways which always was a HUGE issue before using a regular collar and even a martingale collar. She would literally choke herself and be panting but continue to lunge, pull, and bark, all in her back two legs at anyone walking by or even trucks, school busses, or regular cars driving by. Anyways, Tiffany is so great! We have been working with Laydon, and there was a schedule conflict this week and Tiffany came, and I was so impressed. With switching between Laydon and Tiffany I was apprehensive about it, but after this training session, I am completely confident that Vivian and I will get the proper techniques and training that we signed up for and need! Although I’ve only met those two trainers thus far, (and today was week 4), I believe Dog Training Elite has the best trainers around! I feel confident that if Laydon ever has another conflict with our pre-scheduled training sessions, and Tiffany isn’t available either, that anyone will be able to read over the notes about Vivian and to do the session without any hesitation as well as fit right in with Vivian’s sassy attitude, stubbornness, fiestiness and learning style. Tiffany did an amazing job taking her time to know boss and explain all the obedience training that will help him. We tried instant crate training to access where boss is at and what we need to do to continue to make him a better dog. He jumped a lot when Tiffany came and she started redirecting that energy.

Tiffany was incredible during our initial meeting- she was very expreienced, patient, kind, and listened well. We felt very heard, validated, and hopeful for our four-legged friend to become her most happy and calm self! Laydon has been an incredible dog trainer! Our dog Atlas has been reactive ever since he hit 8 months old. We couldn’t take him to group classes anymore because of his dog reactivity and we gave up on training in any sort of group environment. We were drawn to dog training elite because of the one on one sessions it offered. We signed up in the hopes that we could get Atlas a little more under control as we also had a newborn in the house. They did not disappoint, the variety of trainers we saw were all very knowledgeable and helpful in different ways. After our first few one on one sessions, we were encouraged to join a group class. I was extremely hesitant to take atlas because I was afraid of him reacting. But, Our first group class went so well and I was shocked. He had an initial reaction but our trainer Marcus took over for us and corrected him. After that, not a single reaction the rest of the hour. The second group class went even better. No reactions whatsoever, the trainer didn’t even need to step in. Atlas is so much more well behaved now that he is well trained. I know new dogs, people, and situations still make him anxious. But now he is able to take these things in stride and choose to react in a better way. If you’re on the fence about this training I would recommend it to anyone struggling with a reactive dog. The picture is of atlas at a group class In Home Depot. Before training he never would have been able to sit still while other dogs were around.

Truly Exceptional Training Experience We have been working with Dog Training Elite since Tully (Tallulah) was a puppy, starting with their puppy sessions and continuing through adult sessions to prepare for the Public Access Test. We just completed our final adult lesson before the test, and I truly believe this is the best training program available. We trained in different locations, which was perfect for exposing Tully to new environments. Every trainer we worked with had different tricks up their sleeve for all kinds of behaviors. No matter what challenge came up, someone on the team had a helpful strategy ready to go. We worked mostly with Matt K and Tiffany for individual lessons, and they have been incredible. Their guidance, patience, and ability to clearly explain things made each session effective and enjoyable. The group classes at Boston Common are also one of our favorite parts. We’ve been training our American Bully, Blue “Bun”, with Richard and Matt and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the very first session, it was clear that they truly understand dogs and love what they do. Haven't even started training yet but she was very helpful, she answered every question we had, she explained the ecollar usage and how it's not used to be harmful, and she took us through the whole process, and even helped me figure out a different payment plan. Today we were suppose to go to the park with Matt’s dog Nova but it rained. Matt had me show Jake how to do dog push ups. I had him sit than lie down than sit again and so forth. Jake picked that up very quickly. I like when he tells that Jake and I are doing an awesome job. It’s encouraging.

Matt is a delight to have around he is very professional and good at his job I would definitely give him more then 5 stars he goes above and beyond. I can finally bring my dog into public and she is on her best behavior. We highly recommend Dog Training Elite Boston! The team has been professional and supportive in helping us train our hound mix rescue, Banner. When we started, he was reactive, pulled on the leash, and didn’t respond consistently to commands. We're especially thankful for our trainer Marcus—he is knowledgeable, clear in his communication, and genuinely cared about our goals. He listened to our needs and tailored the training sessions. The 1-on-1 sessions at home, local stores, and hiking trails made the training practical and fun, and group classes have been great for socializing Banner with other dogs. We liked the idea of being able to do in home training with our new puppy. The staff is well informed on how to work with your type of dog/puppy, they are also very friendly.

Matt was absolutely awesome!! When we first began with Matt, our Australian shepherd puppy struggled to listen to us and was not good with meeting new dogs. Now he’s a puppy who loves listening and learning new tricks and is able to go on walks and not care about dogs who pass us. Matt took the time to listen to all of our questions and was very patient when we were teaching new skills. He always said that he was teaching the humans more than the dog which was so true!

The trainers are very clear, responsive to any questions in person and over email. It is great that they meet you at your home and in stores/parks near your home that help with different training environments.

From dog that would bite, snap, growl, bark, everything under the sun, who played by her own rules for far too long, I had very little hope in as she’s 10 years old, but figured it was worth a shot as a last chance….to a dog who I now have full confidence to bring anywhere she needs to go with complete control, couldn’t recommend this training program enough, it’s amazing what can be done.

We have had an amazing experience with our chocolate lab puppy Puddle at dog training elite with our awesome trainers Marcus and Tiffany!! Within 5 sessions our dog went from a crazy counter surfing, dog jumping, leash pulling, out of control pup to a pup who no longer counter surfs, walks beautifully on a leash, even in busy stores, and is just so much calmer. That’s very good for a puppy who is not even 9 months old. We enjoyed every session that we had with Marcus and Tiffany who were professional, prompt, friendly and fun to work with. We feel that we have so many tools and gained so much information to continue our training so that Puddle will continue to make progress every day. I can’t recommend Dog Training Elite enough. I reached out for help with reactivity with our 6 month rescue who other second dog in the house hold. Matt F came to the house to assess the dog and was able to understand our needs. During the nine week training session we were able to give our pup the foundation of training beyond what I anticipated. All our goals were met and more. I have had dogs throughout my life and gained more understanding in these sessions than I ever thought. I was able to bring this knowledge to my older dog as well and gained a better relationship with her as well. We live in a peaceful house with both dogs. Not having anxiety of having guest over. Dog Training Elite is well worth the money, when Matt F couldn’t make it the others that would fill in were great as well. When I had questions they would return my call. Great customer service. It was commitment to use what we were taught between sessions but was worth it. Great experience.

The trainers all brought unique skills to the sessions. We learned a lot about how to get the desired behaviors, and my dog is much more attentive and obedient with commands. Highly recommend.

I finished my last one on one session today. Matt was very patient with me. I’m older and have an energetic lab/pit bull. Matt has made me more confident when handling him. Marvin is very trainable. I’m not however. Matt has been a huge help in teaching me how to manage Marvin’s energy. I have more work to do on myself, but I have all the tools I need going forward. Marvin was happy and responsive and loved to see Matt walk through the door. I recommend Dog Training Elite for all dogs. This training has been a positive experience for Marvin as well. Marcus and the team continue to be an excellent resource for myself and my partner while navigating our GSD training. They have been more than flexible with training styles and curating a training program for our own individual needs. Whiskey has benefited so much from their guidance, wisdom, and patience. Marcus and Patrick were fantastic. They helped us train our yellow lab puppy who had a lot of energy and sass shall we say. The trainers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Whenever we had a question about a behavior that was a challenge in between sessions with our puppy, we could just reach out and they were willing to help and guide us on what to do. Everyone was super friendly. They even accommodated my work schedule which was very helpful. Also, the group classes that we have had after the one on one sessions were a bit far for us and we were able to attend another group's classes that were closer which was really nice. It works because they use the same methods. Overall, great experience, worth the money. We highly recommend them!

It’s been nothing but great working with the trainers here. My biggest struggle was the confidence to be able to train my dog and just a couple months later I feel much more confident already and I’m amazed how far we’ve gotten in training. All the trainers we’ve had have given us great advice that’s helped us go even farther with training. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone looking for training!

When it came to sessions for training. They always made themselves available for what time worked for me!! Which was very important with my schedule. They offer group sessions in multiple locations, which made it easy to find one on a weekend to attend. All the trainers are very knowledgeable and I felt like they all love what they do. The amount of attention given in each and every session (private or group) was amazing. Definitely would recommend them to anyone who may be struggling with obedience with their friend.

Dog Training Elite of Central Massachusetts is amazing. The office staff is highly professional, organized, and kind. Whenever I call in, they are always so personable and helpful. Our trainer Matt was a godsend. We have a highly reactive german shepherd. We have tried other training facilities and private trainers that allegedly specialize in german shepherds with no results other than wasting our time and money. Within 30 minutes of meeting our dog, Matt had her full attention and obedience. We were awestruck. No one had ever been able to take control of her like that or coherently explain to us what my dog needed. In all reality, he trained us to be better pet parents and provided us with the tools and knowledge necessary to better serve our dog. We are a lot more confident in interacting with our pup and bringing her out into public. We could not be more grateful to the whole Dog Training Elite team!

Amazing. I have a 2 year old pitbull mix that is wild. I was thinking about giving her up. Matt came in and taught me how to trainer her. Our rescue dog Maggie came to us as a puppy and in spite of all the best intentions and love, she (and many of her littler mates in other homes) has been reactive in multiple ways. We used to host gatherings with friends and family, but since having Maggie, our house has had to be closed due to her unpredictable and antisocial behavior. My boyfriend and I just moved to the area and were looking for a trainer for my 4 year old Dutch Shepard. I am so happy we found Dog Training Elite. From the first time we met Matt at our free consultation, it was clear he understood our goals with our dog. My dog can be difficult and reactive so I am always hesitant when bring her into new situations. Matt helped us get out of our comfort zone and taught us new techniques that have been extremely beneficial. He was able to cater to our goals and adjust the trainings as needed. We have seen so much improvement with our dog throughout our sessions and I could not recommend this training program enough!

Marcus and Barbara delivered an amazing program and showed incredible skills in training my dog Didi. They were not only patient with my dog, but also with me as an owner to learn best practices and techniques to get better results. Regarding the program itself, one of the things I was concerned with was the E-collar, but I was surprised that majority of the training is about positive reinforcement and love (lots of pets for Didi) and the training collar is not at all what one might think. Both Marcus and Barbara showed commitment and care for dogs, and it made me feel extremely comfortable and happy with the choice. The improvement on both Didi and I started since day 1, so I cannot say enough good things about Dog Training Elite and their trainers Marcus and Barbara.

Our dog has come a long way with the 6 private sessions. She is much easier to handle. Is much calmer and seems happier. My only con is one of the trainers seemed new and not quite as knowledgeable. I asked about a specific problem about our dog chewing and she had no answer. However the next visit Jamie had a brilliant suggestion.

The best decision we ever made for our sweet Augusta, was to work with Dog Training Elite. We had the most incredible training provided by Matt. Matt's dedication, passion, support and expertise are second to none. The training is as much for the humans as it is for the dog. Maybe more. I learned a ton, and I've bonded with my best friend Augusta like I never could have imagined. Thank you!!!

From our first lesson, when Marcus was able to pat my dog, Gracie, I knew I made the right choice for a dog trainer. Only 2-4 people have been able to touch her since I’ve had her (6 years). Needless to say, I was amazed. We also worked with Jaime. She was great to work with as well with home sessions and a couple sessions at Home Depot, where Gracie handled the noise and people really well. I highly recommend Dog Training Elite!

I highly recommend Dog Training Elite!! I got my dog, Mabel, in December of 2022, and she was a rescue who came from a high-kill shelter. She experienced trauma and never had a real home, and she was very reactive and afraid of other dogs. I live downtown, where there are so many loud and scary things for a nervous doggo. I spent the first few months very stressed and afraid every time I walked her. Going from a shelter to living in a busy city was difficult for her to handle. I finally started contacting dog trainers, and Dog Training Elite was the only one who offered to come to our home and conduct a free assessment. I could tell immediately that Marcus cared for my dog and wanted to see her happy. With the assistance of the E collar and Prong Collar and consistent training on my part with Mabel at least five days a week, I am so happy to say that Mabel's reactivity rarely happens anymore. Marcus and the other fantastic trainers at DTE have truly changed our lives. Using both the E collar and Prong collar made the most significant difference for us, and I am so grateful that the trainers were there to teach me how to use these tools properly. Training with DTE's guidance has made my and Mabel's relationship stronger and has led me to know now how to maintain the training and continue it. We are currently working on off-leash training with her now and going to group classes! I highly recommend all the trainers at DTE. They are all very knowledgeable, will answer any questions, will work around your schedule and come to you, and they all genuinely care for your dog, which is fantastic! If you are looking for any training for your dog, they should be your first call!

Nyla loves her weekly meet-ups with pups her own age. She otherwise wouldn’t have that socialization opportunity. She’s almost done with puppy classes, graduating to adult training. Very exciting!
