From assisting me in picking out the correct breed and temperament for what I needed to answering my frantic text messages in between training sessions. She has been amazing. We’ve had such a great experience with Dog Training Elite as they’ve been working with our dog, Eevee, to become an autism service dog for our 4-year-old son. From day one, they’ve been incredibly detailed, professional, and compassionate. Before beginning training my German Shepherd, Trixie, was out of control. Not aggressive, but misbehaving and not minding me at all. She was jumping on guests and I couldn't walk her down the street. I was amazed how much progress was made in just the first visit. After the second visit I was walking her around the block and by the 4th we could start having company again. We're looking forward to our first group class and meeting other dogs as well as going shopping together. Best decision I ever made and I highly recommend. A well behaved dog is the best kind of friend. Hope to see you and your best friend in a group class soon. UPDATE: We're about 6 months in and Trixie is going to the park and even shopping with me at places like Lowe's and Bass Pro. She minds very well now but before working with Elite I was totally overwhelmed and unsure I'd be able to handle her at all. Now she's almost 90lbs and being in control of her is a must. I was anxious the first time we met the group class at Bass Pro, not confident at all in this new place that she wouldn't totally embarrass me but that was not the case at all. Because of everything she had already learned so well her attention was on me and following commands. I'm more confident in her every day and she in me probably. Elite was the key to getting us on the right track.

I love Dog Training Elite! They have been so wonderful and helpful! Whether its helping to decide which packages work for your finances or needing a little extra advice in-between classes. Copper graduated basic obedience recently, and after some more practice along with public access, we'll be well on our way to psychiatric service dog training. I'm very happy with the way training is going.

My year and a half-old goldendoodle, Sophie, loved her training sessions and trainers, Kristin and David. I hold Dog Training Elite of Tulsa in high regard. Their training method is very positive and easy to learn. Everyone concerned (dog, owner, and trainer) is actively involved in the training process. The trainers make it a fun and insightful experience, even offering building block tips for what the dog is learning. They are very approachable, attentive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. As a result of their training, the dogs they train are confident, happy dogs that stand out in a crowd!

This is a such a wonderful company!!! My 5.5 month old cane corso mix is training to be my service dog and because they are so skilled she will well on her way to being certified. The trainers are super caring and knowledgeable. Tootsie is even happy to see them every time! Highly recommend!

My puppy is a rescue. She had been through another company's training and came back after 10 days and learned only how to sit, which I'd already taught her. I called Elite. They are the best ever! They came to my house for 5 sessions and trained me how to train my puppy. What a difference it is when the dog mom/ dad is involved! I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Any questions I ever had, I was able to text them and get my answers promptly. My dog is almost perfect at this point. Thank you Elite. I was needing help in training my Great Pyrenees puppy and a friend referred me to DTE. Jamie, Kristen, and Paul were a fantastic team. They would always explain in great detail why you should, or not, do certain things. Their love for dogs was evident in their training. Their training was easy commands and have been very beneficial. Instead of having a large dog who’s out of control, I now have a large dog who minds and is a joy to have around. Thank you guy’s for all the time you took to train “me” so I could train, Minnie.

They were honestly the best in helping me train my service dog. Along side that because you are involved in the training I got to learn how to train my other dogs as well. They are patient and kind and truly love dogs. You can tell that they truly have a passion for dogs and helping them and the owners succeed. The group classes are fun and great practice as well. 10/10 recommend.

Dog Training Elite is amazing! My one yr old male labradoodle is 95 lbs of non-stop energy. He loves his training sessions and comes away from every session better behaved than the last time. DTE really takes the time to not only train the dog, but the owner as well which has made all the difference. Beyond their obedience training package, I use their day-long training sessions at their new facility when I have to be at a job site all day. It’s been great! My dog gets in a day of work on training and I don’t have to worry about trying to exercise him enough or work on his training after a long day. I can’t recommend the DTE team enough - they are awesome!

💙 Blue and I have loved working with Dog Training Elite Oklahoma. Blue is becoming a Therapy and Service dog so he can help on multiple platforms. You can really see the passion D.T.E.Ok has for what they do, and the dogs feel it too! They do an excellent job of training us so we know how to speak K-9 🐶 What I love the most is how well behaved my boy Blue is 🥰 I take him everywhere with me and people are always incredibly impressed. Then they want to love on him, and because he's a therapy dog as well, he adores allowing them to do so 💙 It's been a true blessing to both 💙 Blue and myself to work with Dog Training Elite Oklahoma!

We've had a great experience with Dog Training Elite. Jamie has been wonderful with obedience training our Great Dane/Great Pyrenees, Chance. He was a very nervous and reactive dog that made walking and being around strangers a struggle. Over the past few weeks we've seen noticeable changes and can see his confidence growing. We're able to walk comfortably now and the trust between us and Chance is getting better everyday.

Both David and Kristen are amazing trainers. I had a horrible experience with another training company. They both validated what happened and why I was so hesitant to start a new program and I’m so glad that we did because Asher has grown tremendously. I’ve noticed a difference in his behaviors. Kristen is incredible!! In just one session I see such an improvement. I love my dog and want to make sure he has the best chance at being out in the world with other dogs who might be reactive or worse. Our Sheltie is seven years old and pretty set in her ways. Her barking inside and outside of the house has grown to be such a problem. We have been with David and Kristen for just four weeks now and the barking has noticeably improved, not to just us but others that visit. In addition, she will come, sit and place on command. Not 100 per cent yet, but certainly so much better than she was. One can tell that David and Kristen truly love the animals they are training and want the dog to succeed. Their enthusiasm and kindness are evident and so well received by our dog. From the results we have seen in our dog so far, we can highly recommend DTE for yours!

Hands down! Best trainers around! Day 1 I saw a huge improvement in hours. They come to your home on the dogs turf. My life is much calmer and Moose is much happier since I started with them. Every day gets better and better. This is what owning a dog is supposed to be like. The CLE is always available if needed. Highly recommend. Don’t hesitate.

Kristen and David have been working with us and our 6 month old Vizsla named “Bristol”. We are on a journey that may last another 18 months. Bristol is my service dog and will assist me with my balance. Prior to starting our training with Dog Training Elite I researched many different types of training to include sending my dog off for months. Being a Veteran I knew that was not for me. Bristol is not only my service dog but also apart of our family. The fact that Dog Training Elite offers to train in our home is a large reason why I choose them to lead us on this training journey. Elite Dog Training has been a wonderful experience for us. David came out to the house and explained the program well. There was no pressure and no hidden costs. Kristen has been coming out to work with the family . She is patient, funny, and loves our big baby boy almost as much as we do! She answers all of our questions and takes her time demonstrating and helping us practice new techniques. The homework is very explicit which makes it easy to follow. I can't say enough good things about this program!

Our Team
David Foster
Owner & Trainer
David earned a BS from Texas A&M and an MBA from Dallas Baptist University. For the past 19 years, David has worked closely with veterinarians in the animal health field, inspiring him to become a part of Dog Training Elite. After many years of bird hunting, David decided he wanted to train his new puppy, Tux, an English Setter/Poodle mix, to be a hunting companion. He was so impressed with the programs Dog Training Elite offered, he chose to train Tux here, and now owns his own company. Whether you simply need obedience training or a service animal for your family, David believes a well-trained dog is a great companion for everyone.
David and his wife Kristin are huge animal lovers and have a small homestead with dogs, cats, chickens and alpacas. They have 3 children who are all currently in college; Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, & the University of Arkansas. When not helping with the family business, you will find David hunting (with Tux), playing golf, or mountain biking.

I’m Kristin Foster. I have 3 children in college and have been married 24 years to David. We are a dog loving family - always having 2-3 dogs to love on at a time. I worked with families of children with special needs for 15 years training the parents in behavioral, communication, and self-care areas. I am now training the dog owners on how to get the best out of their dogs and enjoy a peaceful and calm home. My experience in the special needs world compliments my current role in assisting those who desire a therapy or service dog to help with anxiety, PTSD, mobility, and/or Autism. When you see what dogs are truly capable of, it makes you want everyone to see it first hand in their homes too!

Hi I am Jessica Lacy. I have been married to my husband Derek for almost 6 years and together we are the parents to a big beautiful blended family. We have 6 kids in total, 4 girls and 2 boys ages 4-14. We always have a house full including our 5 dogs. I have worked in an elementary school for the past 7 years working with children in various ways. Helping others and my obvious obsession with animals has led me to where I am today helping others enjoy their animals and push them to their fullest potential.
