Aidan began his career at Petsmart over 20 years ago, working with the trainers there. He then met John Mestas in 2007, who introduced him to new training techniques and advanced obedience. Since that point, he has helped train hundreds of dogs to high levels of obedience, as well as personal protection, service, agility, and hunting work.
He is recognized by the American Kennel Club as a certified instructor for AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, and Community Canine testing.
Aidan donates his time to a nonprofit organization called The Malinois Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project, training service animals for those in need.

I’m Oakley Gurr. I am the woman behind the scenes here at the office. My job is to make sure our clients, employees, and pups are all taken care of! I have always loved animals—especially dogs. I whole-heartedly believe in the peace, comfort and companionship they bring. I have a service dog named Sully who is my shadow and best pal.
Hi, I’m Jeff Slack! I have loved dogs ever since I was a kid. I currently have 3 dogs and would own more if I could. I was a kennel tech for 3 years before I became a dog trainer. I’m also CPR and dog first-aid certified as well as AKC evaluator certified.
In my free time I love to play ice hockey, airsoft, and ride my Harley in the canyons. I am excited to meet you and your pups and help you reach your training goals. Let’s have some fun and make you and your dog ELITE!
My name is Jake Boldt. I had no clue I’d ever be a dog trainer. One night I was eating dinner with my mom, talking about how I have no clue what I want to do with my life then out of nowhere, Neal, the owner of the Arizona franchise says, “you like dogs?”... Of course I do! We talk, he hands me his card, and I go to apply. I was lucky enough to get the job, and now I can’t see myself doing anything else.
I have a black Labradoodle named Bo. He’s being trained to be my Psychiatric service dog. He’s been by my side learning this whole job with me and I couldn't imagine my life without him.
Dog Training Elite Salt Lake City has developed a highly successful and unique positive dog training program that empowers dog owners and their canines to work together, creating strong bonds, and sustained obedience. Training takes time, commitment, and balance. Dog Training Elite Salt Lake City is different from other training programs, we will be there every step of the way, to help you and your dog achieve sustained, deep-rooted obedience.
Our dog training services in Salt Lake City are personalized and are designed to teach owners how to train their dog alongside a professional dog trainer in their home environment as well as in small group settings. We strongly believe that the key to sustained obedience and training is to empower owners to be an integral part of the training experience. Most training programs require minimal to no involvement from owners and once the dog returns to their home environment, almost all progress is undone and owners feel just as helpless as they did before.
Our passion for dogs and service sets us apart. All of our local dog trainers are trustworthy, willing to be there for our clients and love what they do. We want to build a community for our clients that love their dogs just as much as we do and once you begin the training process with us, you become a part of the Dog Training Elite Salt Lake City family.
