We are a professional, family owned Omaha-based dog training company with over 40 years of experience that specializes in strengthening the bond between your dog and your family, with a strong emphasis on teaching your dog the highest level of obedience, despite even the toughest level of distractions. Our Balanced Theory
We base our training around the "Classical Conditioning" model (a.k.a. "Pavlovian" or "respondent conditioning"). This includes developing conditioned or automatic reflexes to commands. In its simplest form (after proper conditioning), when the owner says "sit," the dog automatically sits without thinking about it. Our unique techniques ensure our program is a success no matter what behavior we encounter.

Bob is truly an amazing dog training! My dog was an out of control fun loving, over bearing, jumping dog, that could not settle down and meeting new people and it was extremely embarrassing. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Bob and Dog Training Elite. Our large-breed puppy used to pull on walks, jump up on people, and run away from us when trying to get her inside. Now walks are a dream and I don’t worry about her jumping up or dragging me by the leash. I feel confident about taking her places and actually enjoy our walks now. We’ve just started our experience with DTE and couldn’t be happier. Our golden doodle puppy took to the training right away and the difference is night and day. We adopted an 80 lb mostly uncontrollable rescue dog in April. We met Bob in May and started sessions a few weeks later. We now have a dog who listens to us and has completed training!
