Reviews & Testimonials

Knox and I have had the best experience training with Dog Training Elite Central Nashville! The trainers are so knowledgeable and the admin staff are so friendly and quick to respond! Navigating puppyhood is hard but with them it was made a lot easier!!

Aidan is knowledgeable, caring, and excellent with dogs. Our Doxie Pin-Dachsund puppy is stubborn!!! Aidan is wonderful!!!!!!

Austin is kind and my dog loves him. Love his positivity!

Great first session looking forward to more. Very knowledgeable and just great experience with Aiden We are 3 weeks in and love it Aiden is great, and has helped us with our 1 year old Belguim Mal. Highly recommended for dog training!

I have had the best experience working with Dog Training Elite! I had the chance to work with trainer Reina and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! From the very beginning, she was patient, knowledgeable, and truly took the time to understand my dog Honey and her individual needs. She made training feel positive and manageable while giving me the tools and confidence to continue working with her at home. I have seen such a huge improvement in Honey’s behavior, listening, and overall confidence. What I appreciate most is that the training isn’t just about teaching commands—it’s about helping me better understand Honey and build a stronger relationship with her. Honey genuinely enjoys training, and I have seen changes that I honestly didn’t know were possible. I am so grateful for the guidance, support, and dedication throughout the process. I would highly recommend Reina to anyone looking for a trainer who truly cares about both the dog and the family! 🐾💖

Reina did an incredible job of working with us and Rosie on her training. She was so sensitive to our boxer as well as a steady communicator with us. She is fabulous!

She was great!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better trainer for Koa. Austin from the beginning, was attentive, reliable, and always great with communication. He was also incredibly flexible and worked with my schedule, which I really appreciated. What stood out most, though, was how invested he was in making sure our entire family understood Koa’s training. He was patient with my kids, took the time to teach them the commands, and walked them through exactly what they needed to do so we could all stay consistent with Koa at home. Over time, he became more than just the guy who trained our dog, he became someone my family genuinely looked forward to seeing each week. You can tell he truly cares about the dogs and families he works with. He’s not only extremely good at what he does, but just an all-around great person. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring dog trainer.

Very knowledgeable and friendly always a pleasure

Aiden is great! Very patient and does a thorough job explaining how to work through the training difficulties. We are loving the training program with DTE!

Trey was great today. I have as much to learn as Bailey does and he was very patient and encouraging.

Austin can work magic with a dog! We have only had our first in home session and Lula is already showing us what she has learned from Austin. We are looking forward to session #2!

Trey did an excellent job and really connected with Roxi! Thank-you

Aiden was fantastic!! My dog connected well with him and we had great class at Lowe’s!

Adrian is very nice and easy to understand the instructions Our dog Titan is following everything he says. I would recommend Elite to everyone. I will miss you Stay well

Parker was a phenomenal dog trainer, and wonderful to work with. It's very knowledgeable and helped us tremendously. we definitely recommend.

Aiden is so great to work with. Vary knowledgeable and wonderful with our dog. Highly recommend him!

Aiden was so patient and direct with his guidance in training my dog. It has been a wonderful experience and I now have confidence that I can teach my stubborn dog anything!

Had a great training with Reina. She was very informative in my Teddy did great!

We have been working with Dog Training Elite for over 8 sessions now, primarily with Aidan and Trey, and we have had a great experience! We rescued a blue heeler who had almost no training and was very reactive towards everything (people, dogs, bikes...) and she has come so far through these sessions! Looking forward to the next step with group classes!

Enjoyed Austin very much.

Parker with Dog Training Elite was so great! He has been such an amazing help with my three year-old Rottweiler. She went from being reactive to other dogs to being able to walk calmly next to them. Would definitely recommend!

Did training elite is always awesome today was a follow up for adaptive strategies to keep my service dog in training on track following and single event traumatic enough to push solid training behavior back a few steps. 100 out of 10 would recommend yes that extra zero is there intentionally.

We are thrilled!!!!! Kaitlyn and Rhett are just phenomenal!! This is an investment you NEED and they are the best in town.

We just had our initial review of the program. It appears amazing and allowing us to see a dog that had completed the training and how amazingly well behaved he was makes us a no-brainer decision. Aiden was amazing!

Austin was great he came to our home with pure confidence my dogs knew right away that he was no threat he was very up front with questions we had and gave great advice about dog training.our family hopes to work with Austin in the near future

We trained with Aidan, and he’s a real dog whisperer. He understands dogs on a level that makes the whole process feel easy and enjoyable.

Reina has been working with our girl for over a year! In that time she has come so far, starting at 10 weeks old and now being almost a year and a half old. Our girl went from being wild and all over the place to being a service dog in just a few short weeks. We are forever grateful for Reina!

I reached out to Dog Training Elite because my dog Henry was dealing with a lot of anxiety due to his past. I wanted to help build his confidence through training, and that’s exactly what happened! We had both Aiden and Trey as our trainers, and they were great with my boy. He went from hiding behind me around other dogs and not wanting to go anywhere new to happily and safely greeting other dogs and people around him! Training has created such a shift in his demeanor. Now I can see his happy, goofy side come out. Trey especially has helped me understand how to best support Henry during his anxious and stubborn moments. Highly recommend them, they’re the best!!

Aidan was wonderful he showed a lot of patience with my dog and with us!

Consultation appointment went really well with Aiden. He explained things throughly.

Aiden was able to come out and explain the dog training program. He entered every question that I have and brought his friend along to demonstrate some of the commands and things that we would be learning during training.. it was able to provide me with a reasonable quote and expectations for next steps. I'm looking forward to working with him.

I enjoyed Reina & Aidan, they were so knowledgeable and gave amazing analogies and personal experience references. I loved how they educated me on the “why” of my actions in relation to what I’m communicating to Sirhant.

3rd session today and it was great!! Rheyt and Kaitlyn ate fabulous!

Trey was very helpful in helping us make a selection for our first step of training. Gave me nothing but confidence in their ability to help my pupper be the best version of himself

Trey did a great job today. He clearly loves dogs. Coco is learning quickly. Thanks.

The company is outstanding and takes the time to ensure that you and your dog are in sync with each other. Rhett is a great trainer.

Very thorough, professional, courteous and tough when needed. Very important that the training is practiced daily by the owner with the dog. If the skills provided by Rhett are followed you will have a well trained dog. He and Kaitlyn are the dynamic duo. Thank you

Rhett was very helpful and informative about everything. He checked out my dog and how she would react to certain things, and immediately had an answer for me. He was super nice and recommended him to anyone.

Trey has been fantastic in helping me train my puppy. I started working with him when my dog was just 8 months old, and I constantly get compliments on how well‑mannered my pup is. People are always surprised to hear how young he is, a testament to Trey’s guidance and expertise.

Working with Reina has been amazing. She has individually worked with Apollo and his growth has been amazing. Even his terrible trait of reactivity has improved so much!!!!

Rhett and Kaitlyn have been amazing to work with. We were on the cusp of euthanasia due to our 6 year old dog suddenly becoming dog reactive to her dog siblings that she has always been around. Rhett laid out a training plan to help with our dog’s confidence and anxiety after meeting with her and us and it has really helped her. She is much less anxious and because of that feels less need to resource guard which was leading to the reactivity. I highly recommend them if you’re struggling with a reactive dog.

Very friendly, professional, great at explaining everything, awesome experience

Trey did a fantastic job, he is an excellent trainer. He took his time to make sure we and our dog were in a great place and ready to go for this next week. Excited to work with him again!!

We are new to Dog Training Elite Central Nashville and just signed up for the Platinum obedience package for our pup Roscoe. After reading the reviews and meeting with the trainer Austin we made the right decision! Austin has a lot of knowledge and expertise working with different breeds of dogs. He is very detailed and thorough in his profession!

Austin has been incredible! All of the interactions we have had with the team since we started have been great! Courteous, professional and prompt with every lesson. Whiskie has improved dramatically, she is still a puppy and we know she’s not going to be perfect. Now part way through the training we have confidence to take her with us on errands, public places and even just in the yard off leash. It takes time and you need to work with the dog every day you can but if you get stuck or have questions the team is super helpful!!

The Trainers at Dog Trainihg Elite Central Nashville have been phenomenal. My dog, Friend Lee D(awg) is a very sensitive Kerry Blue Terrier who is so grateful I took the leap to get myself trained 🤣 Each trainer has been cordial, professional, quite knowledgeable in their training of Friend Lee. There is awesome communication with calls, texts, and appointment reminders. They have been patient with me and my dog -- very firm, gentle and consistent in their positive approaches. Friend Lee D is a totally new and improved dog. My family immediately noticed how calm and obedient he is. Friend Lee now has commands, assignments and purpose. We both know what we're doing and feel a sense of peace and calm. Our stars align!. I am grateful for entire Dog Training Elite team. Thank you all for your excellence! ~Jackie Grace

We are early in the process, however, I must say Rhett visited us today for the first visit and was wonderful to deal with. As a previous high pressure salesman, I don’t like to be pressured on purchases whether it’s buying a car or getting training for our new puppy. He was so laid back and low pressure, I decided to go with his recommended package and move forward using DTE. I’ll update as we go forward with training, but if it goes half as well as the house visit, this will stay at a five star!

Had Trey more my free consultation. Great guy, super personable, and handled my dogs great. Looking forward to working with him more. Also very reasonable pricing.

Trey is very kind and patient. He listens to my questions and always takes time to explain everything to me about dog training. Trey is very knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior.

I am continually impressed with Austin. He's doing a phenomenal job with Vinnie. The improvements that we see are shocking. You wouldn't recognize this dog from 3 months ago. When I called Dog Training Elite Central Nashville, I was at my wit end. We met Austin for our initial consultation. And we decided to go ahead, and it's been the best decision we've ever made. Austin you are amazing, and we look forward to the next training session. I highly recommend Dog Training Elite. They are a promotional company. The love and care that is given goes above and beyond anything I expected. I can't say thank you enough.

Our consultation with Reina was great. She listened to the goals I have for my puppy, and mapped out how we would get there with DTE’s help. I appreciated her kindness and her professionalism. And the consultation is free of charge. Our weekly trainer Kaitlyn is wonderful. The training sessions are informative and instructive so I just need to do the work with Brody in between. I can text with my questions and they always get back to me quickly. We highly recommend DTE, and Kaitlyn.🙂♥️🐾

Rhett and Kaitlyn have been amazing with my Darcy and patient with me. She is like a new dog.

Aiden was great. It was our first visit and she was responding right away. I like the calm thoughtful training and not being forceful as I have seen in the past with other companies. I look forward to our entire program.

Red was an amazing trainer and great person to work with. Thank you for everything

Parker did an outstanding job! Price of training is not something I can afford!

Red was an amazing trainer to work with - 10/10 recommend!

Great job today with teaching dog and owner. My dog is responding well!

Aiden was amazing!!!

Great Company. All the trainers have been professional and friendly. Our dog Hazel has made great progress!

Austin came to my home for my puppy's first training session yesterday. He was right on time, polite, and professional. Austin began teaching my puppy right away the commands "come" and "off" (the new word for NO). The instructions were a great beginning point for my family to keep the training going this week before our next in home visit next week.

Aidan is absolutely awemazing!!!! Miss Saffron has always been beautiful in spirit, now in just a couple of sessions she is much more” bourgeois “ than before. Very refined 🤣🤣🤣

I’ve worked with Red, Trey, Aiden & Rayna and they are all soooo amazing!!! Highly recommend!!!

Today was training number four and Aiden did an amazing job! It was the first lesson with the E collar, and I was a bit nervous about it, but after just one lesson, I have such a well-behaved pup. I can’t believe it! 10 stars to Aiden and elite dog training!

Rhett is an amazing trainer. He knows our needs and has gone above and beyond to help our Sadie and Chance.

Trey is absolutely amazing! Proficient and professional! He's passionate about what he does and cares about the fur baby and the human! I highly recommend Trey!

Red and team were super helpful and professional. Overall it has been a great experience and my dog is doing so well!!!

Elite dog training is great and Aden and all of the trainers are wonderful!! Great experience

We contacted them . We had lost hope of our dog being trained. The dog ,was displaying what we considered aggressive behavor . However that was not the case .The dog had way too much energy and he was being confined to much . Meaning he was on a leash ,and crated at night . The company came to make an assessment . We was assured the dog trainable . Austin ,came .what a transformation ‼️‼️‼️ We call. Austin The Dog Whisperer. The dog loves Austin . We highly recommend Austin . .

This was our 3rd week with Austin training Murry and he has been so amazing and patience with our dog that I would highly recommend him to anyone that want their dog training, the expertise and patience with our dog has been nothing but fenomenal.

I have trained two dogs with Elite. It’s been truly life changing for me and the staff is always so kind and knowledgeable. Dublin passed today and she is so excited!

Aiden did a great job explaining the process, expected results, and timeframe. He listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions.

10/10 she was super nice im saving up to do this now! Very excited to start hopefully in a few months ill have enough

There are no words to describe how great Rhett is with our little Lulu. She has learned so much since beginning her training at Dog Training Elite. She is always very obedient whether it be at home or in public. She is already doing service task for my husband and continues to learn so much from Rhett. Rhett is so knowledgeable and so kind. If you want your dog trained, you really need to check out DTE!!!

Rhett was wonderful Very knowledgeable And very respectful

Life savers for my dog and me especially. Everyone I’ve spoken with and I have had a training session with has been incredible, and knows exactly what is best for my dog. I am not even done with all my sessions and my dog Cosmo has already become so well trained. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Very knowledgeable and left us feeling confident in the skills to continue with our puppy.

Red does a great job. Fully explains what to do and why you do it. Strongly recommend him

Great first training session!!

Rhett was great! His knowledge about dogs(all breeds) and their tendencies was amazing. The man was full of knowledge and the best part was he answered all our questions about issues we are having with our pups with an explanation that made sense and phrased where we understood it. He explained their training packages and how they worked but never pressured us to sign up. My sister and I decided immediately after his evaluation of our pups, answering all our questions and explaining how the training will work that this was the right company and trainer for us! Can’t wait to work with Rhett on training us “humans “ on how to train our dogs! Don’t know if our babies Essex and Morris are excited but us humans are. After we have done some training, I will be back with another review from our dogs as to how things went. 😂

We have been having the best experience with Red from Dog Training Elite. The format of the lessons are great and we feel so supported through this whole experience. Red made us feel like we can achieve our goals and he helped with any question we had. I always felt comfortable asking any questions and Red always had a helpful answer that really worked! He’s so knowledgeable and we cannot thank him enough for the happy doggies we have!

Reina is fire, Dog Training Elite is dope.

Austin is an excellent instructor he will guide you through all your lessons and you will learn more from him than you can ever imagine. He is also amazing with the dogs.

Rhett with Dog training Elite in Knoxville is great at breaking steps down, advocating for the client and the doggy, and great at boosting confidence. I had a bad run with a positive only trainer who didn't know what to do with an anxious dog and on top of that they weren't positive only with humans and totaled my confidence. Rhett came in and raised my confidence back and has helped my dog become more confident. I can wait to see what the 8wks has in store.

Very happy with our training with Rhett! We are learning so much!

Rhett is the best! His love for dogs shows through all he does . The dogs love him back. We start task training today I love the knowledge he has and the calm and understanding way of teaching that makes sense. Thank you Rhett and DTE!

Austin is a great dog trainer to work with.

Dog Training Elite Nashville has been fantastic! Aiden, Parker, and Reina all did a fabulous job with us, and we’ve seen such a dramatic difference with Gus. They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping both us and Gus succeed. It’s truly an investment in yourself and your dog, and the results are so worth it. The progress has been incredible, and we’re so grateful for their guidance and support. Highly recommend!

Rhett is great! Cares about the animals and it shows.

I’ve been working with Dog Training Elite for 2 months. I’ve seen incredible improvement in my dog’s behavior, temperament, and resource guarding. I’ve worked with Austin and Trey, both of which have been wonderful. They’re encouraging and very professional. Absolutely worth the money.

Rhett was very professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to explain pricing, and services clearly, and efficiently. I feel as if Elite Training would be an amazing fit for us.

The trainers were all great & so good with Marco!

Best dog training experience of my three. Red is kind, considerate, and well-trained. On our eighth lesson, we took my 60-lb dog to an antique mall. We walked in the areas for 50 minutes, and Memphis didn’t touch anything. He also was approached by several people and was a perfect gentleman. Five stars all the way.

We have loved working with Dog Training Elite! We have two young children – and being able to work with these trainers has really helped our Portuguese water Dog, Arthur, be such a great little member of our family. They are so responsive, professional, and knowledgeable!

We are so happy we found and entered a training program with DTE! When we started, our pup, Tarkin, was high energy and difficult to handle. Now, he is a respectable member of society and very good boy 😊 As a concerned owner, I really appreciated their style and approach to his training. It was very easy for us both to understand and the progress he made speaks for itself.

This training has been so vital to enjoying our dog/yard/walks again. Shoko has made incredible strides. This program has allowed us to feel secure again and empowered with the training. Red, the trainer, has been fabulous every step of the way. *pic of Shoko at her last outing prior to group lessons and her laying calmly in place outside.

Great experience with Red! He is very knowledgeable on different training methods. Definitely recommend!

We’ve been working with Red on Bernie’s therapy dog skills. We always benefit from his professional and knowledgeable teaching. Plus, he makes it fun!

Enjoyed working with Parker and Montana. Both were very knowledgeable. Nova’s behavior at home has improved! Appreciate the flexibility with scheduling lessons

They have been prompt and professional. My dog has enjoyed each person. He has been calm and performed well which is hard for an English Bulldog.

Red is an extraordinarily kind and patient person, my 3 year old frenchie Zeppelin has come so far in the 4 months since we started training with Dog Training Elite. Not only has my boy learned solid commands, but walking on a leash and interacting with other dogs has been a night and day difference. Our trainer Red not only provides support and praise, but has provided me with peace of mind and assuages all fears/concerns still to go with furthering our training goals. He’s a genuine asset to your organization, and we look forward to our next lessons with him in group classes. Thank you for all that you do!

Red is a very professional and excellent trainer for our pup. He always gives great tips and encourages both me and my pup during our sessions. I highly recommend him for all your puppy training needs.

Red from Dog Training Elite is the BEST! We truly cannot sing his praises enough. He helped turn our crazy puppy into such a well behaved dog. We love how communicative Dog Training Elite is - they have made this such a smooth training process.

Gus has been training with Red, Raina, and the Dog Training Elite team since he was 9 weeks old. We could not be happier with the puppy training Gus has received, and we are looking forward to starting group classes soon. He has transformed from a crazy, often frustrating puppy to a companionable and trustworthy friend in just a few short months with their help. He’s ready to keep learning and growing under their steady and gentle training.

We have worked with Red for the past few months and can see such a beautiful change in our dog. He is less nervous and listens so much better. Red is very thorough and patient with us as we learn the commands. We love working with Red! He has made us love our dog!!

Highly recommend! Great service

I’m super impressed with my trainings with Parker. He’s been patient and understanding with my progress with my puppy, awarding my successes and encouraging me to focus on small changes that have made a huge difference. Training is timely, and requires consistent diligence and repetition. Parker understands and refuels my efforts with each visit. I highly recommend Elite Central Nashville!

Red was a huge help to us! He was so patient and kind while helping us work with our very reactive dog. Definitely recommend.

Hiring dog training elite was by far one of the best decisions I ever made. Before my dog would bark at literally everything. Now he is so well behaved and so calm. While walking him, I used to have to cross to the other side of the road to avoid other dogs and people. And now I can just walk past them and he is calm and so well behaved. I hired multiple other dog trainers before, but none of them were able to help with his reactivity. Best dog trainers in Nashville!

All of the trainers are easy to work with, exceptionally helpful, and great with my dog Charlotte. They are always available to answer any questions that come up, and scheduling appointments is easy and flexible. It is nice that they come to your home and work one-on-one. Highly recommend them for any dog training needs! I will be using them again in the future.

I cannot recommend this place enough! We worked with Parker for our dog’s behavior training, and the transformation has been incredible. Before starting, we were struggling with leash pulling and constant jumping when guests arrived, but Parker’s approach really clicked with our pup. Parker was patient, professional, and took the time to explain the 'why' behind the techniques. Now, our walks are actually enjoyable, and we’ve noticed a huge improvement in overall focus and obedience. It’s such a relief to see our dog so much more calm and well-behaved. If you’re looking for effective results and a trainer who genuinely cares, definitely ask for Parker!

WOW was I impressed with the dog training here! I’ve gone to several others all over Nashville, but I just haven’t seen much progress with my dog’s behavior until one of my close friends from church recommended this place. I own a vizsla and if anyone knows anything about vizslas is that they’re cute but crazy and highly energetic dogs. Going here and training my lovely dog has made him keep the cuteness, but cut out the chaotic behavior. Thanks again this place has saved me so much time and energy. If I ever get another dog the FIRST thing I’ll do is bring them here

I’m so glad that I took my dog Kenji to Dog Training Elite. Kenji as a puppy was very chaotic and would always jump on us and would pull on the leash whenever we’d take him out for runs and walks. He would also chew up all our shoes. But not after taking him here, Kenji has learned to no jump on us or guests and is obedient to our commands on walks. And they have eliminated Kenji’s chewing habits.Highly recommend Dog Training Elite, they are so kind to the dogs and are very professional and friendly.

My experience here with my dog Rocky was unbelievable and necessary! Before his training he was overly excited, unsure how to interact properly with people, barked constantly, and wasn’t potty trained. After his training here all of these issues were fixed! I absolutely recommend to train your dog here with them! Rocky is such a good boy now!

My dog is super friendly but used to be so wild- she would bark all the time, jump up on guest, and always pull at the leash on walks to go say hi to other dogs or people. After putting her through the program here, she has become so much better! She is still so loving but she’s much better about jumping up on people and is much more polite on walks! It’s been a great experience for us through Dog Training Elite!

Dog Training Elite completely changed my dog’s behavior for the better. Before training, my dog struggled with listening, pulling on the leash, and staying calm around other dogs and people. After working with their trainers, the improvement has been insane—in the best way. My dog is more obedient, calmer, more confident, and actually listens to commands now (which I didn’t think was possible 😅). The trainers are super professional, patient, and really know what they’re doing. They don’t just train the dog—they train you too, so you actually understand how to keep the progress going at home. Everything is clear, structured, and tailored to your dog’s personality, not some one-size-fits-all method. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Dog Training Elite is 100% worth it. My dog is happier, I’m less stressed, and our bond is way stronger now. Highly recommend.

Amazing my King Charles doesn’t dart out of the door anymore I just love it!

Excellent communication and knowledge..never rushed .. just wonderful for me and my Shepard .. highly recommend elite trainers!! Been with for six months and we have mastered many commands and go in public and are progressing so well.. so glad I have elite to train me and my Shepard !

I was hesitant about paying for dog training. But now I realize it was the best investment I could make for my dog. He has so much more freedom now that he listens to commands reliably and this was an incredible experience thank you dog training elite!

I am so grateful for Parker at dog training elite. My dog used to bark anytime we stopped petting him, but now he doesn’t bark at us anymore. He is an amazing housemate and I’m so glad that we decided to go with DTE for dog training.
