Group Sessions
Group Sessions are available to Dog Training Elite Gilbert Clients!
Dog Training Elite Gilbert offers small dog training classes after obedience training is completed and only once a puppy is fully immunized. Dog obedience classes are held on a consistent basis and are included in most packages. Our dog obedience training classes are designed to place yourself and your dog in public places (surrounded by other dogs, people, smells, and sounds), so that you can train your dog to obey you... regardless of the many distractions screaming for their attention!
Group Class Details
- Remember dogs must be on leash at all times.
- Before the start of class, check to make sure your e-collar and remote are on and fully charged.
- Please bring water for you and your dog. If at any point during class you feel your dog needs a break, feel free to seek shade and water to help your dog cool off. We will not have water, so please pack and plan accordingly.
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated to attend group classes.
- If your dog is sick, they may NOT attend.
Scottsdale Obedience Group Class
Saturdays @ 10:00 am
Come train your dog Saturday morning with our trainers at Northsight Park. Northsight Park is located at Treaccar Way and Northsight Blvd. We will gather On the North Side of the park behind Northsight Vision Care Center.
- Remember dogs must be on leash at all times.
- Before the start of class, check to make sure your e-collar and remote are on and fully charged.
- Please bring water for you and your dog. If at any point during class you feel your dog needs a break, feel free to seek shade and water to help your dog cool off. We will not have water, so please pack and plan accordingly.
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated to attend group classes.
We meet at the most northern side of the park (behind Northsight Vision)
- Sign up closes at 5pm each Friday
- Class is cancelled if:
- There is less than 3 dogs/handlers
- If temperature exceeds 109 degrees.
Glendale Obedience Group Class
Saturdays @ 10:00 am
Come train your dog Saturday morning with our trainers at Sierra Verde Park. We will gather and hold class in the South East corner of the park.
- Remember dogs must be on leash at all times.
- Before the start of class, check to make sure your e-collar and remote are on and fully charged.
- Please bring water for you and your dog. If at any point during class you feel your dog needs a break, feel free to seek shade and water to help your dog cool off. We will not have water, so please pack and plan accordingly.
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated to attend group classes.
We meet at the most Southeast side of the park at Potter and N 71st Ave.
- Sign up closes at 5pm each Friday
- Class is cancelled if:
- There is less than 3 dogs/handlers
- If temperature exceeds 109 degrees.
Gilbert Obedience Group Class
Saturdays @ 8:00 am
Come train your dog Saturday morning with our trainers at Discovery Park. We meet on a patch of grass right by the sand volleyball courts - the northwest corner of San Tan Village Parkway & Pecos Road right across from the Mormon Temple.
- Remember dogs must be on leash at all times.
- Before the start of class, check to make sure your e-collar and remote are on and fully charged.
- Please bring water for you and your dog. If at any point during class you feel your dog needs a break, feel free to seek shade and water to help your dog cool off. We will not have water, so please pack and plan accordingly.
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated to attend group classes.
We meet at the most Southeast corner of the park near the sand volleyball courts. Enter at the Santan Village Pkwy/Greenfield light and we are on the right side.
- Sign up closes at 5pm each Friday
- Class is cancelled if:
- There is less than 3 dogs/handlers
- If temperature exceeds 109 degrees.
Goodyear Obedience Group Class
Saturdays @ 8:00 am
Come train your dog Saturday morning with our trainers at Loma Linda Park. We meet at the playground towards the middle of the park. The park is located across the street and East of the Goodyear Church.
- Remember dogs must be on leash at all times.
- Before the start of class, check to make sure your e-collar and remote are on and fully charged.
- Please bring water for you and your dog. If at any point during class you feel your dog needs a break, feel free to seek shade and water to help your dog cool off. We will not have water, so please pack and plan accordingly.
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated to attend group classes.
We meet at the playground towards the middle of the park. The park is located across the street and East of the Goodyear Church.

East Valley Service & Therapy Dog Group Class
Every other Saturday @ 12:00 pm
This training class is for service and therapy dogs to work on advanced obedience and working in public around distraction. This class is also for the handler to get comfortable with their dog in public. This class will also help prepare dogs and handlers for the Public Access Test. **You MUST be cleared to attend this class by at DTE Trainer**
We meet in front of the entrance. Please be on time, we start the training five min after the hour and it is extremely hard to find the group if you are late.
Remember dogs must be on leash at all times. Before the start of class, check to make sure your e-collar and remote are on and fully charged, bring a potty clean up kit incase of an accident.
Clean up kit should include: Gloves, Poop Bags, Wet Wipes, Ziplock Bags, Disinfectant Spray.
Dogs who display aggressive behavior, act inappropriately, or who are not potty trained may be asked to leave.
*We meet in the front of the store outside the front door.
West Valley Service & Therapy Dog Group Class
Every other Saturday @ 12:00 pm
This training class is for service and therapy dogs to work on advanced obedience and working in public around distraction. Come train your Protection dog on Saturday morning with our trainers at our facility. Protection level 1&2 classes are for Protection clients only, who have been invited to group class. **Please be on time. We have extremely important safety information that we go over at the start of class.**
- Remember dogs must be on the ORANGE BIOTHANE LEASH (hanging out side the training room) prior to entering the training room.
- Remember to give space to all dogs, this is not a socialization group class.
- Before the start of class, check to make sure your e-collar and remote are on and fully charged.
- Please bring water for you and your dog. If at any point during class you feel your dog needs a break, feel free alert the trainer so you can exit the training space.
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated to attend group classes.
*Our facility is located in the north east corner of the strip mall between the African Store and the RC Shop, straight back from Bisbee Breakfast Club.
Protection Level 3 & 4 Group Class
Every other Saturday @ 8:30 am
Come train your Protection dog on Saturday morning with our trainers at our facility. Protection level 3&4 classes are for Protection clients only, who have been invited to group class. **Please be on time. We have extremely important safety information that we go over at the start of class.**

Reactive/Aggressive Dog Group Class
Everyother Saturday @ 8:30 am, 10:00 am and 11:30am
Come train your reactive or aggressive dog Saturday morning with our aggressive and reactive trainers. Please be on time. We have extremely important safety information that we go over at the start of class. **All dogs are REQUIRED to wear a DTE APPROVED muzzle before entering the facility.**
- Remember dogs must be on leash and muzzled at all times
- Before the start of class, check to make sure your e-collar and remote are on and fully charged.
- Please bring water for you and your dog. If at any point during class you feel your dog needs a break, feel free alert the trainer so you can exit the training space.

Canine Good Citizen Tests

$0 testing fee for ALL DTE clients! $25 for Non-DTE Clients. (We accept exact Cash, Checks and all major credit cards
The CGC Program is a two-part program that is designed to:
- Teach responsible dog ownership to owners.
- Certify dogs that have the training and behaviors needed to be reliable, well behaved members of their families and communities.
- Dogs who pass the CGC test should be under good control and be safe around people and other dogs. The purpose of the CGC Program is to ensure that our favorite companion, the dog, can be a respected member of the community because it has been trained to be well behaved in the home, in public places, and in the presence of other dogs.
Please note, your dog will need to be registered with AKC to receive a title. This can be done for both mixed breeds and pure breds via the AKC website.

FAQs
One of our trainers will visit your home to meet you and your dog and discuss any issues you're facing. We will then demonstrate one of our model dogs so you can see what you can expect after hiring our trainers. From there, we will discuss the various packages we offer and which we feel best suit your (and your dog's) needs.
We provide full obedience training that covers all basic commands, both on and off-leash. Our in-home visits target specific issues like counter-surfing, digging, and more. Unlike some trainers, we work with all breeds, including those often considered challenging.
Yes. You (and anyone in your family who wants to be involved) are integral to your dog getting trained. We need you to practice 5-6 days a week, about 15-20 minutes a day for optimal results.
Once a week. We come to you (with the silver, gold and platinum packages) once a week to start your dog off, then you come to park sessions which are held once a week in Gilbert.
We train dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether your dog is a tiny Chihuahua or a large Mastiff, we have the experience and expertise to work with them.
