Elijah tailors our training sessions to meet our needs and enhance our experience. We chose to enroll our rescue pup in the training camp with the two follow up at home training sessions. All of the trainers are very knowledgeable, patient, and exceptional at what they do. We had so much success with our girl. The expense was worth it to us, we viewed it as an investment in her and our family. Would highly recommend!

Elijah did a great job of explaining the various packages to me and answering all my questions. You could tell he’s a real dog person. He even brought his own dog which has been trained using CDT’s methods to show me how my dog will be trained!

Words cannot explain how thankful we are for Josh and his team. We did the 8 week obedience package and it was worth every penny. Our dog has had history of aggression and reactivity and it’s as if he’s a whole new dog. He’s calm, happy, confident and overall enjoying life with us again. Josh not only trained our dog but us as well. On how to be good owners, listen to cues, be strict in our training and grow trust with each other. His tactics and knowledge in training were extremely impressive and incredible to observe. We did in home lessons and even met out at different public spaces to help assist our training. Our dog was so excited everytime he got to be with Josh. He has a way with animals that made me trust in him that much more. We enjoyed our time with his dog Lilo as well, she was incredible and so talented (sorry you were the bait Lilo lol). It makes my heart so happy to know we made this decision and our dog is better off for it. If I could change anything it would be signing our boy up with Josh sooner. The entire dog training staff is incredible, and I truly trust them with my only child. It is evident how deeply they love dogs, and how skilled they are at what they do. My dog has learned so much and has such a positive attitude around commands and learning. I am so grateful!

Josh and everyone at DTE….amazing. I would highly recommend DTE to anyone who wants their dog trained. Josh specifically is attentive, patient and…he’s like the dog whisperer guy of Indianapolis.

Josh has been great coaching me in training my dog. Fern will be volunteering as a therapy dog at the Indy airport USO lounge soon, and Josh was a big part of helping her get there.

We just finished week 1 of obedience school with our puppy and we are so impressed! We have learned so much. The staff are all so knowledgeable, kind and caring. We love it here.

They were the best and did a great job

After the 2 week day camp with Josh and his team I have seen huge change in my very anxious 6 yr old dog. He went from being scared of everything (and barking at everything) to becoming a more confindent dog thru training. We were nervous to take him out due to his dog aggression and now have the tools to do so whether on a walk or to Petco!

Josh and his fantastic team, has done a fantastic job with my Yorkie!!! They are not only professional, but detailed oriented!!! Keep up the great work!!!

Before my dog went to their doggie daycamp program, he was completely unpredictable, aggressive towards dogs, bikes, etc, and not great on a leash! Now, he's doing amazing! We've been able to walk past other dogs, bikes, scooters and he's been very redirectable! Josh came out to the house for our 1:1 visit and gave me pointers to keep us moving in the right direction! Highly recommend!

Elijah did a fantastic job working with my bernedoodle on heel walking. He was patient and communicated well, and had a great structure for the lesson. Overall, I’m confident we are on a good path forward!

The entire staff is delightful. They treated our pup so well and were super patient with him (stubborn breed) and were so informative come pick-up time. They spent however long they needed to explaining the day and we never felt rushed to leave. Answered all of our questions and never made us feel stupid for asking them. We will continue working with them through home visits (the 1st one was fantastic) and group classes. If you're looking for a place to train your dog, this is it.
