Our Balanced Theory
We base our training around the "Classical Conditioning" model (a.k.a. "Pavlovian" or "respondent conditioning"). This includes developing conditioned or automatic reflexes to commands. In its simplest form (after proper conditioning), when the owner says "sit," the dog automatically sits without thinking about it. Our unique techniques ensure our program is a success no matter what behavior we encounter.

Chris is a miracle worker at the very least. He is also an amazing dog trainer. I will be the first to admit that I was very skeptical about anyone's ability to teach my Aunt's Cairn Terrier anything. His nickname was Devil Dog, and well deserved. She was unable to walk him without dislocating her shoulder, he frightened anyone who dared come near + drove the neighbors crazy with his barking. Dog Training Elite Reno's Sustained Potty Training Methods
Using our unique approach to training you won’t need to worry about getting your puppy potty trained. We have fine tuned our style of training to focus on positive reinforcement paired with a personalized, in-home approach. This allows you to be present and participate as an integral part of the training of your new puppy. Alongside our professional dog trainers you will be the key to the sustained obedience training.
During the first week of training you can expect us to start working on crate training/housebreaking. By utilizing what is referred to as the “Classical Conditioning” method, or the “Pavlovian” model we are able to be more effective in our training and create longer lasting results than with other training methods. We help you and your dog achieve sustained, deep-rooted obedience.
