Marlee and I have had several easy walks extending our block! Last night recall practice in the fenced yard. Tonight, I placed her at the tree and walked across the yard almost to the garden and she came right to me! Of course not running or bouncing, but, she came right to me! When we came in the house, I kept her off lease down the driveway past a squirrel and placed her on the back steps while I unlocked the door and right in the house! Wooohooo success she's catching on!! Yesterday, the mail lady, which of course stays at an arms length, Marlee just about got in her truck for a pet on the head Thank you so much, obedience is freedom!

We had a truly wonderful experience with Renee. We trained our 5 year older 90 pound Weimaraner (Axel) with Renee. Axel was highly reactive. He's very smart but also very stubborn. Renee spent half his lessons training Axel and half training us. Almost immediately, we were amazed at how well Axel was listening to Renee and it became clear to us that we need the training as much as Axel. On our last two trainings we went out to Lowes and Bass Pro Shops. We never would have even considered this before Elite Dog Training. Axel did great and we are excited to know the potential of our dog and love that we are more comfortable bringing them out in public.

We very much enjoyed working with Beth & Rene. Our boy Cash was trained by Beth as a Service Animal and we are so Proud of him and all the help we received from the trainers. Really appreciate the one on one approach to training and doing it in my own home where my dog is relaxed. And the access to group trainings with other dogs has been a good introduction for my dog.

I am in the process of training my dog to be a therapy dog. We have almost completed the basic training course and Daisy has made so much progress! Beth was super responsive during the initial information stage by getting back to me quickly and explaining the entire process. She came to my house for an initial evaluation and answered all my questions. From the very beginning, Beth provided clear instructions and expectations for each session. We have been attending the group classes which are both effective and really fun! Both Beth and Rene are easy to work with and provide many activities to carry over the skills we learned during the private training sessions. It's really nice to have a community of dog owners to share both struggles and victories. Beth and Rene truly care about all the dogs and yet are available to provide one to one service and help troubleshoot any behavior issues. What I really like is their understanding that a well trained dog can still be a dog who is silly, affectionate and playful! I would definitely recommended them to anyone with a dog of any age/breed!

Rene and Beth are amazing trainers. We have done both private in home and group training with K9 Elite. With a high energy / sometimes stubborn dog breed, they have shown me and my family the techniques needed to help our puppy become an incredibly fun, obedient and good canine citizen. If you have kids bring them to the training sessions. Our kids do a great job with the weekly practice with the dogs. We highly recommend Rene and Beth as they are kind, caring and happy to help even the oldest, most stubborn dog start to listen and obey.

I have nothing but good things to say about this training program. We had a 100+ pound untrained Newfoundland who was sweet but did not obey commands well. Fast forward 8 weeks and we now have a dog we can confidently take anywhere! René, our trainer, was incredible. Not only is he clearly knowledgeable and experienced with all kinds of dogs, but he also took the time to teach us, not just the dog. My wife and I now feel equipped with practical training tools and techniques that we’ll use for the rest of our lives. Trying to get a stubborn English mastiff to do anything was becoming impossible until Rene trained not only Tucker but us as well, after a couple of weeks what a difference, comes when called, sits, gets in the car, heels, amazing difference.

So glad we signed our two dogs up for training! They both had different challenges (one hyperactive and jumpy and one scared and nervous), and the training did them both wonders. Highly recommend! We worked primarily with Beth and she was awesome to train with.

Best training experience ever. My GSD is well behaved now. The trainer was very positive and encouraging and very knowledgeable. I received lots of good advice. I love the free group classes that follow the completion of the training program. It reinforces everything we have learned.

I could not recommend this company enough! My dog was lacking respect and basic listening skills and i was at a loss on how to get through to him. We had Beth as our trainer and she was amazing! nothing but great things to say to her. not only did she teach my dog she also taught me. Beth has been so great with our dog's training! We were worried about aggression in our pitbull/lab mix, but the trainings have brought out his sweetness again and made me much more confident having people come over and having him out in public. Rene and Beth are an amazing duo. We hired this incredible team to help us train our fear reactive rescue. She is a one year-old pit mix that knew no commands and just after three visits to our home, she was sitting, placing and coming when called. Rene was our point person; he is laid back and easy to talk to but also professional. They have group doggy classes which are so fun and great for introducing dogs to dogs (very important for our rescue). We have had a blast learning and teaching and would hire them again.

I adopted a rescue from Texas. (Henry) His Bio said how great he was with people, children, other dogs, etc. They neglected to let us know that he was a raving maniac who had no idea how to behave. I would never return a rescue, but if I did, this one would be the one. I called Rene who came over and did the evaluation. He had no doubt that Henry was 100 percent trainable. I doubted him, but was at wit's end, so gave it a try. Beth came over and did the home training for 5 weeks and 3 weeks outside at Home Depot, etc. Let me just say Rene and Beth are both amazing. And Rene was right. After the initial 8 weeks, (actually after the 3rd class) we had a completely different Henry. He is extremely well trained (not military style either, although I"m sure if that is what you want, they could do that) and now a pleasurable part of our family. Complete 360 with their training. Easy to follow and Beth explains everything perfectly. If you have any behavioral problems with your dog, this is the place to go. I can't recommend them enough. I would give them more than the 5 stars allowed.

I discovered DET online when we knew we needed outside help to train our lab. We couldn’t take her for a walk without intense struggle. Now with Beth’s help she is able to accompany us on walks and in our truck. We work her every day, using the tools we were given to continue her ability to obey and cooperate in a loving way. We couldn’t have done this without Beth. The DET is still part of our lives with group training and public exposure. They are all about what’s best for our dog and we are very thankful.😊

I am just updating my review as our puppy has turned 1. We have love working with Rene and Beth. Our son and his dog work beautifully together and are getting ready to start going to school together! The group classes are a bonus as it provides additional touch points and time for us and our pup to see other handlers, pups, and learn to work with distractions. We hope to keep doing those regularly as time goes on to keep us sharp. From last winter: We are working with DTE-GNH to train our Autism service dog (puppy). We just completed the 4-week puppy training (we started at 9 weeks of age). This is NOT your average puppy kindergarten. I can say without hesitation that this is the best preparation and training we have ever had (and we have had dogs for decades). Everyone remarks how calm and well behaved our pup is. Last night we took him to a nice restaurant and he laid down quietly under the table the whole time (after investigating the under the table environment for a few minutes). And the training is gentle and educative (for both pup and even experienced dog owners) and focuses on building a strong relationship with the puppy and building trust to enable a calm demeanor and calm handling... and it's all positivity. Our pup wows everyone and I feel so secure going into new environments with him, and we feel so ready for the next stage.

Beth and Rene were wonderful with our Abby. Not only did they patiently worked with her and helped me to have more confidence to take her in the public. I can now take Abby for walks and anywhere I go see can go. I love the training in the park that is offered even after graduation. Have worked with many trainers over the past 3 yrs and have appreciated this group the most. Had fun doing the platinum obedience course. They even humored me and we went to Rye beach in Nh for last class as dreamed of having my dog off leash here. Had great time and will b using them for future training needs. We have a very "talkative" older dog. When I first met Beth I was so happy that someone was able to comunicate to as well to me as my dog. Beth has taught both of us many new ways to improve. I am so grateful that Beth has the patience to keep us on the right path. After just a few months my 8 year old dog is listening better to me and behaving much better in public places. I had the most cathartic experience with Beth and Renee and staff! I am a therapist by trade and I recently adopted a “therapy dog” named Oliver. “Olly” doesn’t know he is being trained to be a therapy dog by everyone at Dog Training Elite and myself! He just has so much fun learning the commands and practicing tricks for treats at first and eventually without them! Something I thought was impossible. He is such an amazing emotional support animal for now thanks to Dog Training Elite and will be an amazing therapy dog once our training is done. I loved the 1:1 classes but really found a benefit from group classes once Oliver was ready to socialize with the other dogs. He impressed me with his skill at our most recent group class! I am looking forward to going into the community and creating one of the most beautiful gifts: a service animal for patients to love.

Amazing experience Beth. From start to finish she gave us great tools, tips, and lessons to help us train our lab. We got him during covid and as a result he had little exposure to other people and public places. Over the course of two months training with Beth he’s gone from being a skittish, unsure dog with little confidence to a confident boy who takes commands, and who is much more confident around people and out in public places. My experience with Haley from Dog Elite was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to get to know our dog and me! Our large breed Great Dane was territorial, dragging me around and within weeks, he sit, stay, and come on command. He went from dragging me around by his leash to being leachless in a few sessions. So happy that me and my pet got training and now work very well together. Money well spent.

After years of searching finally we found the right training institute for our 3 years old GSD. Few months ago I saw a very well behaved GSD at homedepot. The owners told me that they had been to Elite Dog training at Manchester. I was so impressed by their dog’s behavior that immediately decided to go for Elite Manchester. We have been experiencing issues with our dog in social situations such as he is antagonistic towards other dogs and far from being friendly with boys under the age 12. We didn’t want to use a shock collar to correct his behavior nor we wanted to use the prong collar. Fortunately Elite provided us the correct tools and methods. The e-collar is a savior. Knowing that we can use it without hurting our pup 🐶 is a big relief. Their unlimited group training sessions with other dog is a huge advantage. I’m not aware of other training institutes that offers unlimited group lessons. The people at Manchester Elite are very cooperative, friendly and seem like they understand the training needs of each individual dog. We had Healy as our “In home” trainer. When I first saw her I was a bit skeptical about her ability as a trainer because she looks very young . But I would say she proved me wrong. She is so efficient at the same time warm and friendly. On her first day at our residence our GSD recognized her as his buddy and obliged to her commands. Healy proved it that to be an efficient GSD trainer age and appearance don’t matter. It is a huge relief to be able to invite guests to our home again without keeping the pup in the crate though we are still working on him to be friendly towards little boys. I have been training with Haley for the past couple of months. I have an American pitbull puppy! Haley is very patient and knowledgeable when it comes to training. Trainer’s are great very patient and knowledgeable, Hayley is amazing after just the first session Cass’s behavior started to improve, he was always excited to see her and is a different dog because of her. They have a highly effective training program. They are very nice and were very good and gentle with our dog. We noticed results right away. Our dog had high excitability with small animals, a high prey drive And was a flight risk. He was terrible on leash and we did not enjoy walking him. During the 1st week, his excitability was under control and same with his prey drive. After 2 weeks, he was a joy to walk with. After 5 weeks, we are able to work with him in off leash in our yard without fear that he will run away. Rene was awesome to work with and my husband and I highly recommend their training methods and their company. We could not be happier with our results.

We got two Chinese Crested rescues and we were struggling. They are 6 and 8 years old and were kept in a kennel for breeding for the first part of their lives. We did not have high expectations about training them- but had to do something. Haley came the first day and we thought it was fun. The dogs were amazing- they were receptive and good at everything - thanks to Haley. We learned sit, stay(place) , heel, come, and down. What a difference.
