Natalie with Dog Training Elite did a great job helping me train my puppy, Lulu. She did the initial basic training with Lulu at my house. Natalie modeled how to train Lulu, gave me plenty of practice, and patiently answered all my questions. Lulu is training to be a therapy dog. Charmone has done all our public access training. She constantly challenges Lulu to make sure she is able to meet therapy dog expectations. Lulu had to walk around different dog bones without trying to eat them. Charmaine’s dog Shadow helped prepare Lulu for her AKC Canine Good Citizen test, which she just passed. Group classes with Sophie and her puppy, Evie, has been very helpful. Having other dogs model appropriate behavior makes a big difference. Group training sessions are often tailored to your specific dog needs and the people in the group support each other. I am thankful for all Dog Training Elite has done for us. I appreciate their continued support.

Dog Training Elite is really THE elite training available for you dog! I have two German Shepard dogs….one 11 and one 1 1/2. The one on one training provided by Mike and Gosia provided exactly what both pups needed to “nudge” them into learning commands designed to enhance their safety as well as make our afternoon walks, outings, and social trips enjoyable and worry-free for them and me. I can’t recommend them enough!

Our dog Pixie just graduated on 10-1-25! This training is worth every penny. We had a dog out of control, now we are in control. The key is consistency. Work with your dog daily. Michael and his wife Gosia are the consummate professionals. We wholeheartedly recommend their training services!

Our “owner surrendered shelter. dog” was extremely reactive.( That’s why she was turned in.) I’m sure she had a lot of childhood trauma. She was reactive to people as well as other dogs, and I actually pried her jaws open to release a small dog from her mouth. She was great with us, but we lived in a constant state of trepidation with her behavior around other living things. I hesitated more than once spending money on the Platinum Program but after just nine private training sessions, we have a new dog. It was worth every penny and we’re not done, but the change has been jaw- dropping. We started our rescue German shepherd, Kira, with Dog Training Elite just a few months ago after her first birthday. She is such a sweet pup but would never listen when she was excited (so 90% of the time). It was stressful to take her anywhere because we never knew how she would behave. We tried training her ourselves but progress was slow and not always in the right direction. Through this training we discovered the importance of consistency. My husband and I had the same goals for Kira, but unintentionally approached it in different ways. These lessons are more for you than the dog because they make sure everyone is aligned with commands, timing, inflection, and more. This program is great because it teaches YOU how to train your dog. We worked with Kira daily for about 15-20 minutes between the weekly lessons and that’s why we saw so much progress so quickly. We purchased the platinum package and have been so grateful we did ever since. The convenience of a trainer coming to our house every week was wonderful since my husband and I work different schedules. The lessons were practical and enjoyable for both us and the dog. Kira has since graduated and we are able to take her places we never could have before. She behaves like an entirely different dog. In fact, we get compliments from strangers on how well behaved she is! Recently we were able to have dinner at a nice restaurant outside with lots of foot traffic within a few feet of us. Kira stayed under my chair the entire meal until we let her greet the waiter at the end. With our package we get unlimited group classes. These classes are wonderful because it exposes Kira to other dogs and distractions while working on her training. They are fun for all of us and we intend to keep going even though she has since “graduated”. The reason this program is so successful, though, is because of Mike and Gosia. They are so good at what they do and make every lesson/class engaging for the dogs and for us. I will never stop recommending Mike and Gosia to everyone. Before this program my husband had deemed our dog “untrainable” and I can happily say that this program has successfully proven him wrong.

We have an 8 year old Akita. When I tell you I thought an old dog couldn't be taught new tricks, Whit Gray proved me wrong! His techniques are stellar and makes the training process easy and enjoyable. He's always on time, communicates effectively and has great patience! We just completed the Platinum Program with Michael and Gosia for our Shiba Inu, Daiyo, and we were very pleased with our experience. Whit has been amazing working with our older girl. I used to always worry if she broke out of the fence and now we are able to trust her for walks around the neighborhood without a leash. She's learned commands she didn't know before, quickly at that. We've also come to understand her a lot better with his methods of giving her patience in her age. Her health isn't the best anymore, but her mind is staying sharp as a tack and she's enjoyed coming her group classes.

We are so happy we used this training company for our 4-month old golden retriever. While cute, he was out of control and unpredictable. To be honest, I was a little afraid of him when he would snap at me while trying to pick him up. I called this company and Michael came to the rescue very quickly. After only 3 months of weekly in-home training with Michael and Gosia our puppy did a near-180. Our puppy LOVED their visits and I looked forward to them, too. It was amazing to see that our dog was actually capable being obedient when they trained him (and us!). You have to keep up the work but our now 1-year old golden is a pretty good dog and we are grateful we found Dog Training Elite Northeast Atlanta.

My wife and I sought out training services with DTE NE Atl for our 6 year old labradoodle, Della, after recently adopting her. We were seeking support for Della as she was a VERY anxious dog, especially with people (new people.) She is a very sweet dog, never aggressive, just nervous and anxious and overall lacking confidence. My wife and I were skeptical if anyone could help Della, as we had her for 6 months at this point, she’s an older dog, and it seemed to be more of a personality trait and maybe the effects of what she had been through in the past before we adopted her. Absolutely thrilled with the transformation our pup has undergone thanks to Mike and Gosia! Initially, I was hesitant about their training methods, but the results have been nothing short of life-changing. I’m not sure who Michael trained more - us or the dogs! We had a wonderful experience with Dog Training Elite from start to finish. I will admit, I was extremely skeptical that our two large, rambunctious hound dogs (1yr and 2yrs old) could ever follow commands or walk nicely on leashes without pulling my arms out of their sockets. If you told me I would be able to take them both out in public or even sit down at an outdoor cafe table while they laid at our feet I would have choked. But here we are! Michael is so knowledgeable and dedicated to what he does, and he was able to guide us in training two dogs with very different personalities with ease. While training was both a financial and time commitment (reinforcement practice at home is critical!), we found it to be completely worth the investment. He was very flexible in scheduling our training sessions as we have 3 active sons and a full time job. We have already recommended Michael and Dog Training Elite to our friends and family who see how much it has changed our dogs. I’m so thankful!

Mike was amazing. I hired him to help me build trust with my American Pit Bull Terrier, Samson. Samson is 2 and started to experience anxiety when he was around children, working breed dogs, and select others. Samson knew basic commands, but he wasn't focusing on me which led me to hire Mike and his wife. I have been working with DTE for about 8 months now on training my mini goldendoodle, Maya. Walking my Great Pyrenees could be difficult because he would constantly pull as he wanted to explore all of the different smells. Furthermore, Great Pyrenees are known for their stubborn behavior, doing want they want, not always obeying their owners. With the training that Dog Training Elite offered us, our dog is more mellow, he listens, and he doesn’t pull when we go for walks. I wish I would have discovered their training sooner! I can’t believe the change in my dog’s behavior. I highly recommend Dog Training Elite!

Klaus has been the most headstrong German Shepherd I've ever owned. Mike helped me develop Klaus into an obedient and confident dog. Using the skills Mike taught, I was able to spend a half hour a day to work on what Klaus learned during the weekly training sessions. The results were amazing. In addition to being obedient, he is less reactive to other dogs and very well behaved in busy public places. So here we are, a German Shepherd who was literally expelled from dog daycare, to a well mannered four legged friend. What a difference! I look forward to continuing with group training! We had just adopted our dog and were looking to make her a psychiatric service dog. She was really sweet but we didn’t know much about her past. When Gosia met her she was able to quickly see her potential and gave us a lot of confidence in knowing that she’d be a great dog. It’s been a long hard road going through training, but they’ve been very understanding and accommodating of our needs. They treated our dog very well.Pretty grateful to have met them. We’re excited to have our service dog! She enjoyed all the training, all the praises, and is a very good girl!

We absolutely loved working with Mike and Gocia! They are both so knowledgeable, kind and understanding. After our initial evaluation, we decided it was best for us to do the platinum package, mostly due to our dogs reactivity and behavioral issues and we are so glad we did. In addition to the basic obedience commands we worked on throughout the nine sessions, we were able to share any other things that came up throughout the week and work on them as needed. After a few weeks, they were able to bring their dog as a neutral dog and although ours has not been comfortable around other dogs, I was SO surprised to see her able to walk side by side in a heel! We frequently talked about the research behind training methods and other ways we can work on connection with our pup. Mike was so attentive and helpful with our situation, and I’m so grateful we chose to train with them. We haven’t found perfection yet, but we will continue to work on her reactivity in group classes. After trying to do training on our own for so long, having a program to follow has been so beneficial.

I’ve been training my dog Luka with them for maybe a little over 3 months now and it has been the best experience I could’ve asked for. Mike who I did my training with was extremely flexible with scheduling but more importantly they are great with training dogs. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Gosia and her husband Michael are SO amazing. They really care about your dog but also your family. When Gosia would come to our home for the training sessions I never felt like my dog was going to be harmed. I never felt uncomfortable with her and even my toddler warmed up to her. She makes sure your dog understands the command(s) being asked before she leaves and is always readily available to answer any questions about anything you may need help with. If I ever get another puppy I will for sure be having Dog Training Elite come back. They’re amazing. The group sessions are great for both the dog and the handler as it helps pick up on your weak spots and the dogs. 10000/10 recommend

Gosia has been wonderful with my little Stetson. She knows exactly what we need to work on and how to do it. We are doing the service dog training and would highly recommend them if you are in need of service dog training. It takes commitment and hard work but they will give you all the direction you need.

Mike was so patient and great with our dog Smokey. I am a night shift healthcare worker and they were incredibly helpful and flexible fitting in to my schedule. He is a much better behaved dog ever since then.

This was absolutely worth the investment. The trainer was kind and patient but firm and has set us up for success with our pup. The group classes offer continued practice and support. I am grateful to have come across DTE.

Cadey was having some major issues with reactivity and jumping on people. She's a big dog. She's a Lab/Pit mix and 65 pounds--so I couldn't allow this to continue. She's very smart but has always been stubborn. It took a while, but the reactivity is almost completely gone. She still gets excited to see people but has stopped jumping almost completely. These folks love animals and are very honest about YOUR role in the training. If you do the work and help your dog, the process works flawlessly. So far, I'm very pleased. 5 paws up!

We really enjoyed our experience with Dog Training Elite North Atlanta. I first met them at a home show and they set up a free evaluation. There's no obligation but it gives you an opportunity to have them see how your dog behaves. First, they come to your home for training and work with you based on your schedule. That is so helpful. They were always on time and many times stayed after the hour session while we finished the lesson. Our plan had 6 in home sessions with 13 group sessions at a local park. We are in the middle of the group sessions and have seen great improvements in areas that had been issues. They have all been very patient and super loving towards our dog. We had the same trainer throughout which helps them see the progress and continue to work on areas that need work. The photo in the review is the trainer, Mike, teaching ours how to walk nicely on leash. The trainer starts the lesson, showing you what to do. Then they have you try, offering help as needed.

My puppy Stetson has gained so much from the training at Dog Training Elite. He is only 9 months old and can sit, lay down, place, heal, come and has manners in public. While he still has more work to go, he is only 9 months, he has progressed so well. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. they help build your confidence while building the dogs. I would highly recommend.

My dog lacked manners so much being she was a rescue. But they truly helped me change her behaviors and gave me the tools to teach her myself as well. She’s changed so much and is on her way to becoming a service dog

It's hard to believe our dog Duke is the same dog that entered Dog Training Elite's program just a few short weeks ago. He's gone from an uncontrollable destructive dog to a very well behaved member of the family. He's not 100% yet but he's light years ahead of where he started. I couldn't recommend Dog Training Elite more highly. I only wish we had found them before Duke destroyed half the furniture in our house.

Needed some training for my 2 year old Golden Retriever and was sitting in traffic when I saw DTEWest Atlanta car and decided to give them a call! One of the best decisions I have ever made. I had called around a few places and their offer was the best for what I needed. They also offer a variety of packages which I loved. The team at Dog Training Elite West Atlanta is simply amazing! Whit, Kyla & CJ are true professionals and it shows that they love what they do. Extremely patient & kind especially to my sweet pup! They felt like family. We had in home training sessions and they were so much fun. I looked forward to seeing them every single time and so did my doggo! They were always on time and communicated transparently. I now have a pup who is well trained. The walks have been 1000 times better, no more pulling and dragging and recall is great! My pup now knows how to behave when I have guests in my home. My pup also does commands off leash which I am most excited about. 10/10 recommend DTE West Atlanta! Just amazing.

Whit and his team Cam and Kyla have been a godsend! My husband and I fell in love with our, at the time 3 month old, American Akita while we were vacationing in Florida. We couldn’t wait to get him back home but with my husband starting a new job and already having our hands full with 5 and 6-year-old boys, I already knew that I was going to need help with Yoshi. I personally shopped around for different companies and found Dog Training Elite online. My husband and I had reservations in the beginning of course as with anything new, but let me tell you we are definitely pleased with the process so far. Whit advised that I would see a difference after the second appointment but he was wrong… LOL!! I saw a difference after the very first! Every appointment weekly I feel closer and closer to Yoshi! Cam and Kyla are family and they not only put my nerves at ease but they are knowledgeable, professional and complete sweethearts.
