After having several dogs over the years we decided to invest in training for our year old Aussiedoodle. What a great decision. Thanks to the great trainers at Dog Training Elite, Bruno modified several poor behaviors and he is even more of a joy in our home and in public. We weren’t sure it would all work but have been pleasantly surprised how responsive Bruno is to many different commands.

We have seen such great results with this program! We loved that we could be present, and trained as well, for each weeks training protocol. The ability to do training at our home made all the difference in us choosing DTE. We appreciate Jeff and the staff for providing us the confidence we needed in caring for and handling our aggressive pup.

Didn’t think we’d be doing this again. Dogs are mental health for me. That’s ALL I wanted for Christmas! Oh boy…the new puppy arrived and we knew we needed help! That’s when McCall arrives at our door and quickly teaches us that WE are the Boss of our home, not this adorable fur ball! We witnessed McCall’s magic which was quiet but firm. Our pup Sonny was left feeling like the best boi each time they met! He since has completed 2 dog camps. These are not easy but he couldn’t get to the door fast enough. Jake worked wonders with Sonny! Jake has a very confident energy that is passed on to your dog with so much praise. Dallin, who teaches the puppy classes, is as fun & friendly to the families not just the adorable puppies of all kinds and makes you feel you are the best parent! There is not a question or concern that Kacie, who runs the show at the front desk, can’t immediately help you with and is the perfect person who greets you with a friendly Hi & smile!

The whole team at Dog Training Elite did an excellent job preparing Lucie and I as we started our partnership as handler and service dog. Their knowledge and skill was an integral part of our training and I would highly recommend them.

Words can not express how happy I am with the difference in my dog. Zeuz(my dog) was having some behavioral issues that I wanted to fix. After just the first session, people were commenting on how he had changed. How last session was yesterday. The dog he is now from the one he was back in March of this year is crazy! The people that work here are very talented and care about these dogs. Trevor was the one that saw Zeuz the most and I will forever be thankful for him. They are very flexible with scheduling, and if something comes up they are more than happy to switch some things around. You will see fantastic results with these trainers. I can not recommend them enough!

My wife wanted a puppy. I didn’t want a puppy. We got a puppy. A little floofy doodleish thing. I named her Winnie Pooper. She had soon earned the nickname “Sh!t Weasel”. We tried training her with food and treats. She soon learned that when we didn’t have treats - she didn’t need to listen. Her rampage through our lives continued unabated. I was ready to give her away to the first person who would take her. Then we called Dog Training Elite. Shawn came to the house for lesson #1. He had a calm, serious way about him. Winnie was outmatched and she knew it. Her capitulation was rapid and complete. Shawn demonstrated the e-collar by placing the prongs into the palm of his hand and turning the dial all the way up to show that it would cause no harm. Then he placed the collar on Winnie and in no time had Winnie sitting on command, and coming on command, and being a very good dog. Lessons 2 through 6 were with Angela. She showed us what to do and demonstrated that Winnie could learn commands very quickly. I nearly burst with pride when Winnie learned “place” and proved it by hopping on and riding a skateboard Angela had brought with her on our driveway. I ordered Winnie a skateboard of her own that very day. Today was our first group lesson with Winnie at the park. It was very organized and serious. Winnie was distracted by the other dogs and people, but with Shawn there helping we made it through some early drama. Now the dog I would have given away goes with me on a morning walk to start each day. She is still playful and full of joy, and now confident and poised, too. And I rarely have occasion to call her “Sh!t Weasel”, anymore. But that’s fine with me. Do yourself a favor and call Dog Training Elite today!

DTE Charlotte has been absolutely amazing with helping me train Lupin to be a service dog. Shawn walked through the whole process and the initial consultation was super thorough and explained every step of the process including how they make sure the dog's temperament fits for service work through the the initial obedience at home classes and group work. Each training session is super involved and Shawn and Angela showed me how to work with him and made each training session fun for him. They came with several tools to help him master the commands. The group classes were something I have never experienced with dog training but they were so helpful! We were able to practice our newly learned skills with people doing the same thing and have plenty of distractions to help build on the commands. Shawn and Sharon were always nearby to help if a dog struggled. Lupin even learned how to skateboard! They truly love dogs and helping people build a better bond with their puppers. 🐶

Awesome trainers. Work with you very well . My dog is alot more obedient. Very well mannered. They are there if you have any questions. Group training is so awesome .trainer works with all the dogs step by step.

Got the Whole Den package and am very satisfied with the level of professionalism that everyone had. They gave wonderful suggestions and presented things I a way I could understand. Will use them going forward for all trainings on our little one.

If I could give 10 starts I would. This place is amazing. I did the two-week training camp for my 8 month old puppy and I couldn't be happier with the results. The entire experience was perfect from start to finish. The training staff is incredible. They answered all my questions and took extra time and care in helping my dog be successful. We are very pleased with Dog Elite Training. Gosia is amazing and was very thorough about training our baby Leia. We seriously recommended their services. Training goes a long way when it comes to ordinary circumstances and we are glad that we decided to get Leia on board with their Gold program. Can’t wait to try their Therapy Dog program. We are so grateful about having all the support from Dog Elite to get Leia where she is now. Jessica was also very quick to communicate throughout the whole program. Kudos to their excellent customer service.

Shawn, Sharon and Angela are beyond amazing! They are kind, knowledgeable and encouraging! After doing a ton of research we decided to go with DTE Charlotte and we are so glad we did. Our puppy Goose started with advanced obedience and is currently in service training to be our sons autism service pup. DTE Charlotte has helped us learn so much and I am still amazed at how available they are every time we have a question or need guidance. We can not say enough incredible things about this team of trainers. We are beyond thankful and would 100% recommend them to anybody looking into dog training!

I am seriously blown away by how effective this training has been for our dog just after 5 weeks. Every trainer we’ve interacted with was extremely nice, informative, and we can tell they really care about our dog! Our dog’s behavior has changed tremendously, he listens to us more than he ever has in the 7 years we’ve had him. My wife and I were sort of nervous to spend this much money on dog training (we spent almost all of the money we have saved) but after seeing the results, we are so happy that we did. 5 stars isn’t enough!

The trainers are always friendly and professional. My daughter's "Service Dog in Training" couldn't ask for a better Trainer. Terrance answers all my questions but also takes the time to show my daughter how to implement at home what the dog has learned.
