The trainers of Dog Training Elite understand that each and every dog is unique and we have worked hard to develop a comprehensive dog training program that eliminates aggressive behaviors that can be applied to various dog breeds. By completing our training program in your home, we are better able to understand the underlying causes that may be triggering your dog’s aggression. We never use punishment in any of our training programs as punishment has been shown to actually increase aggression in dogs. We base our training around the "Classical Conditioning" model (a.k.a. "Pavlovian" or "respondent conditioning"). This includes developing conditioned or automatic reflexes to commands. In its simplest form (after proper conditioning), when the owner says "sit," the dog automatically sits without thinking about it.
