Positive Puppy Training in your local area beginning as young as 8 weeks old!
Dog Training Elite has developed a highly successful and unique positive puppy training program that empowers dog owners and their canines to work together, creating strong bonds and sustained obedience. Our services are highly personalized and are designed to teach owners how to train their puppy alongside a professional puppy trainer in their home environment as well as in public settings.
At Dog Training Elite, we strongly believe that the key to sustained obedience and training is to empower owners to be an integral part of the training experience. Most puppy training programs require minimal to no involvement from owners and once the puppy returns to its home environment, almost all progress is undone and owners feel just as helpless as they did before.

Dog Training Elite's Positive Puppy Training Methods
Our trainers begin working with puppies as young as 8 weeks old, we will even help you select a puppy from a litter that possess a desirable and teachable temperament. Treat training will be used until the puppy is 12-14 weeks old at which time advanced puppy training will begin.
We use a positive puppy training method paired with an electronic collar, this is not a shock collar. Unlike a shock collar, an electronic collar does not hurt or harm the pup and is used only to obtain their attention, not to punish bad behavior. We believe in using ongoing praise to encourage good behavior. The difference becomes clear when comparing a puppy that is trained out of fear and intimidation vs a puppy who truly desires to please from the inside out.
Our Balanced Theory
We base our training around the "Classical Conditioning" model (aka "Pavlovian"or "respondent conditioning"). This includes developing conditioned or automatic reflexes to commands. In it's simplest form (after proper conditioning) -- when owner says 'sit', dog automatically sits without thinking about it. Our unique techniques ensure our program is a success no matter the behavior we encounter.
Empowering OwnersWe empower owners to train so dog knows who to obey at all times.
PersonalizedWe deal with problem behaviors on a personal basis.
Environment SpecificWe train wherever issues tend to arise (i.e. jogging, park, home).
SupportiveWe support owners in the off-hours (when training is "not in session").
InvolvedWe work with all members of household.
Simplified & CustomizedWe plan training around owner's schedule and require only 15 min/day follow-up practice.
Continued TrainingAdditional programs / group sessions offered after in-home training.
Lifetime InvestmentWe follow-up & are invested in owner's success long-term.
Satisfaction RatingsOur high client satisfaction rating sets us apart from competitors.

Wondering if we have puppy training services near you?
Getting a new puppy is exciting, especially for new puppy owners. The love and joy that a dog can bring as a companion or as part of a family is undeniable. The most common mistake new owners make, however, is to underestimate the knowledge, commitment and effort needed to train a new puppy. Once a puppy begins to grow, their energy can quickly feel unmanageable. It is all too common that a well meaning and loving family takes on a puppy, lacking the knowledge and skills to properly train. This often results in overwhelmed owners rehoming or taking these puppies to local shelters feeling that the disposition of the puppy is a bad one or simply that they are not cut out to be dog owners.
Our processes allow for us to easily complete our in home puppy training services at your home or within the environment where behaviors manifest— such as in the park or around other dogs while you walk through the neighborhood!
